RALPH K. SPRINGER
Ralph K. Springer, 78, of Mt. Pleasant RD4, died Friday, March 3, 2000, in Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was born Sept. 14, 1921, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Charles and Manilla Painter Springer. He retired from the Elliott Co. of Jeannette. He was a member of the former United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant. He was a deputy game warden for many years and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a charter member of the Tri-Town Sportsmen Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers , Edward Springer, in 1995, Robert Springer, in 1972, and Richard Springer, in 1999; and two sisters , Irene Cecario, in 1967, and Emma Craig, in 1987. He is survived by his wife, Martha Mardis Springer of Mt. Pleasant RD4; three brothers , Earl Springer of Twinsburg, Ohio, Chuck Springer of Mt. Pleasant and Eugene Springer, also of Twinsburg, Ohio; and two sisters , Mrs. Charles (Nancy) Dibler of Leichburg, Ohio, and Mrs. John (Sally) Ahrens of St. Cloud, Fla. Friends will be received at the LUTHER J. GRIMM FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Pleasant, Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. At Mr. Springer's request, there will be no funeral service.
CLYDE L. WINGARD
Clyde L. Wingard, 68, of Latrobe, died Friday, March 3, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born in Derry, Nov. 7, 1931, he was the son of the late Clyde L. and Marie A. Jones Wingard. He was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Church, Snydertown, and had retired from Latrobe Steel Company. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. Surviving are his wife, Martha G. Siko Wingard; two sons , Patrick L. Wingard and his wife, Carol, of Southwest, Pa., and Christopher L. Wingard and his wife, Kim, of Latrobe; four daughters , Roxann Wingard, Cheryl Oplinger and her husband, Ken, Lori Vaglia and her husband, James, and JoAnn Campbell and her husband, Brad, all of Latrobe; 11 grandchildren, Pat, Michael, Lance, Chad, Sara, Ryan, Kori, Camryn, Megan, Gabrielle and Marcus; three aunts; and a number of cousins. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. George V. Bonistalli, 86, of Plum, formerly of Wilkinsburg, died Saturday, March 4, 2000. Husband of the late Ruth Lucille (Hayden). Beloved Father of Mrs. Merrill (Ruth C.) Semke. Mary T. Brewer, 94, of Greensburg, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born June 15, 1905, in Pleasant Unity, a daughter of the late Sandy and Susan Paskey. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Brewer; three brothers , Charlie, John and Joe Paskey; and three sisters , Angie and Terry, and Ann Abraham. Survivors include a son, Ralph Brewer Jr. and wife, Mary Ann, of Greensburg; a daughter, Dorothy Reott and husband, Paul, of Irwin; grandchildren, Michael, Renee and Michelle Brewer, Joe and Nick Reott and Beverly Null; great-grandchildren, Amy, Nick, Mike, Erica, Nicolle, Krista and Jena; a sister, Lee Bendle of Monroeville; and several nieces and nephews. CORRENE FAROUX BUSHEE
Correne Faroux Bushee, 62, of Jeannette, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law in West Chester, Pa., after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Bushee of Green Tree, Pittsburgh, who died in 1969. She was born in Jeannette, a daughter of the late George and Dorothy Gunther Faroux. She was a graduate of Jeannette High School and Robert Morris Business College, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette. She lived the past year in West Chester following surgery. She had been employed at J.C. Penney in Westmoreland Mall. She enjoyed flower gardening and needlework. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Fred McCormick of West Chester; a nephew, Brad McCormick and his family of Severna Park, Md.; an uncle, William Gunther of Jeannette; numerous cousins; and her beloved friend, Joseph Monstrola Sr. of Jeannette. Donna L. (Lawson) Craig, 56, of Bethel Park, died Sunday, March 5, 2000. Beloved wife of 22 years to Charles R. Craig; loving mother of Arthur C. Craig; sister of Arthur T. Lawson of Warren, Kathleen J. Wojcik of Port Vue, Janet L. Slifko of Beaver, and Robert W. Lawson of Liberty Borough. Mrs. Craig was employed by Equibank for 15 years and most recently by X-Mark Industries/ C.D.T. as an office manager. A. Thomas Heer, 57, of Level Green, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at his home. He was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Braddock, the son of the late Albert and Elva Hartness Heer. He was an employee of the Leese Co. in Greensburg. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Donna Fix Heer; a son, Arron Thomas Heer of Altoona; a daughter, Amy Heer of South Carolina; and a sister, Cathy Heer of Greensburg. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION. Lillian Hoffman, 90, of Greensburg, formerly of upstate New York, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, in the Woodhaven Care Center, Monroeville. She was born Sept. 29, 1909, in Claridge. She was retired from Lederle Laboratories, upstate New York. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Tina Luzetti; and a brother, Harry Prioni. Frank Orisik, 81, of Smithton RD, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Jan. 15, 1919, in Smithton, a son of the late Charles and Nancy Hoolp Orisik. He was a retired steelworker, having worked for U.S. Steel, Irvin Works. He was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Catholic Church, Jacobs Creek; a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army; and a member of the American Legion Post 790, Smithton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; three sisters , Helen Barcheck, Mary Hollingsworth and Anna Orisik; and a brother, John. He is survived by two brothers , Michael and Charles Orisik, both of Smithton. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the L.L. Frances M. Parker, 73, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at her home. She was born April 5, 1926, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late John and Agnes Stock Stroncheck. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Irwin and a member of the Hahntown-Fairmont Firemen's Association. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth S. Parker. She is survived by three sons , Kenneth S. of Fort Wayne, Ind., James N. and Kevin M., both of North Huntingdon; two brothers , Joe Stroncheck of Smock and Frank Stroncheck of North Carolina; two sisters , Agnes Milan of Baltimore, Md., and Rose Hoist of Masontown; three grandchildren, Ryan and Rachel Parker and Marci Elliot; and three great-grandchildren, Michael, Alexiss and Taylor.
