Lois Stover
Lois Marie (Schoonover) Stover, 79, died July 29, 2004.
She was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Buhl, Idaho.
She was raised in Boise, Idaho, where she graduated from Franklin High School.
She worked for the phone company.
She married James B. "Smokey" Stover on Oct. 22, 1946.
She lived in McCall and Idaho City in Idaho, and was the assistant assessor of Boise County.
She moved to Boise in 1960, where she worked for the department of transportation.
She enjoyed golf, shopping, and clamming.
Survivors include four daughters, Cathy, Patti, Pam, and Sherri; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, James, in the spring; and a sister, Jean.
At her request, no memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to a local hospice or a charity of choice.
Albert Howard Brundidge, Sr.
Albert Howard Brundidge, Sr., 82, died Nov. 9, 2007 at his home in South Beach.
He was born to Mable Elizabeth (Gallon) and George Washington Brundidge on June 15, 1925 in Gervais.
He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
He retired as a certified welder.
He enjoyed woodworking and made numerous styles of whirly-gig lawn ornaments.
He married Bessie Elizabeth Woodruff Nov. 25, 1946 in Newberg, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
He is survived by sons, Albert Jr., of South Beach, and James of Salem; daughters, Linda James of Alaska, Diana of Dallas, Ore., and Tammy Twitchell of Florida; brother L.D. Brundidge of Salem; and sister Dori of Missouri.
A memorial service with full military honors is pending at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
