Faith Ann Williams of Bend died Dec. 21 of natural causes. She was 43.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Niswonger, Reynolds and Tabor Funeral Home.
Ms. Williams was born Sept. 13, 1958, in Moses Lake, Wash., to Raymond and Grace (Corbitt) Williams. She moved to Redmond in 1970 and attended school in the Redmond area.
She was involved in Bridges of Hope.
Ms. Williams enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, sewing, crafts, helping others, the outdoors, fishing, hunting, Harley Davidson Motorcycles and classic cars.
Survivors include her companion, Don Hilton of Bend; three sons, Iley ”Bobby” Tickle of Bend, Cody Richardson of Prineville and Michael Richardson of Portland; a daughter, Melissa Meeks of South Carolina; mother of Bend; a brother, Kevin of Bend; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Billie Marie Martin
Sept. 22, 1918 - Dec. 23, 2001
Billie Marie Martin of Bend died Sunday of natural causes. She was 83.
A private service will be held.
Mrs. Martin was born Sept. 22, 1918, in Michigan to Harry Bennett and Eileen McClellan. She graduated from the University of Michigan majoring in music. She married
Harold Angellotti in 1948.
She was a homemaker. She also gave organ lessons. She married
Lloyd Martin.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed music and cooking. She also enjoyed traveling in her motorhome to visit her grandchildren in Bend.
Survivors include her four children, Skip Angellotti of Bend, Jim of Washington, Marie Angellotti and Sue, both of California; and two grandchildren.

Richard Glenn Larson

Richard Glenn Larson of Bend died Sunday. He was 52.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Larson was born Feb. 2, 1949, in Bialto, Calif., to Marvin and Geraldine Larson. He married
Sarah Goodrich Taylor in 1980 in Bend.
He served in the U.S. Special Forces Division from 1968 to 1970.
Mr. Larson worked in construction. He moved to Central Oregon in 1974.
He was affiliated with the Nazarene Church. He enjoyed bicycling, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his four sons, Matthew Taylor, Tim Taylor, Robert and Roger, all of Bend; two daughters, Christine Walters of Klamath Falls and Nancy of Bend; mother of Rialto, Calif.; father of Palm Desert, Calif.; a brother, Wayne of Bishop, Calif.; and a sister, Marcia McRill of Lakewood, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Grace Katherine (Vlasic) Lovett

Grace Katherine (Vlasic) Lovett of Bend died Sunday of natural causes. She was 85.
A private service will be held.
Mrs. Lovett was born July 30, 1916, in Gary, Ind. She married
Jack Lovett on Nov. 9, 1935, in Crown Point.
She worked as a clerk for Thrifty Drug. She moved to Bend in 1967. She retired in 1975.
Survivors include her three sons, Jack of Idaho, Ron of Bend and Nick of England; two daughters, Cathleen of Tumalo and Lorraine of Florida; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.

Alfred Eugene Nentl
March 30, 1919 - Dec. 24, 2001
Alfred Eugene Nentl of Prineville died Monday. He was 82.
No service will be held per his request.
Mr. Nentl was born March 30, 1919, in Herman, Minn. He married
Violet Delaney.
He moved to Central Oregon in 1940. He worked as the mill superintendent for Consolidated Pine Products. He married
Sally (Henderman) Mizer in 1960 in Prineville. He retired in 1984.
Mr. Nentl was affiliated with the Catholic Church. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2555. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping.
Survivors include his wife of Prineville; two stepsons, Farrell Mizer of Eugene and Orville Mizer of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Eraine of Wheaton, Minn.; a sister, Delores Witschen of St. Paul, Minn.; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, two daughters and a brother.

Juanita L. (Tupper) Kinne
Feb. 11, 1918 - Dec. 26, 2001
Juanita L. (Tupper) Kinne of Bend died Wednesday of a heart condition. She was 83.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Deschutes Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kinne was born Feb. 11, 1918, in Gaston. She married
Allan Kinne in 1954 in Eugene.
She owned and operated the Brownie Beauty Shop. She retired in 1969. She moved to Bend in 1989.
Mrs. Kinne was affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church of Bend and Grande Ronde Hospital of La Grande. She was a member of the Beta Signa Chi Lauseat Alpha Xi Chapter of Bend and Sweet Adalines of La Grande. She was an ordained deacon. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Peter Tomseth of Redmond; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and a sister.

Ernest S. Newsted
Oct. 9, 1909 - Dec. 24, 2001
Ernest S. Newsted of Springfield died Monday of age-related causes. He was 92.
No service will be held.
Mr. Newsted was born Oct. 9, 1909, in Eureka, Calif., to Charles and Bessie (Burch) Newsted. He married
Lenore Kaas on Jan. 30, 1929, in Chehalis, Wash.
He raised dairy cattle. He also worked as a logger on the Olympic Peninsula and in Eastern Oregon. He then worked as a logging superintendent for Brook Scanlon in Bend.
Mr. Newsted was a member of the Masons and Shriners. He did volunteer work for International Executive Service Corps in Turkey and Peru. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Beverly Hackleman of Springfield; a brother, Marshall ”Bob”; a sister, Bernice ”Pat” Pettygrove; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife.

Ray Laniel Rogers
Dec. 30, 1917 - May 13, 2001
Ray Laniel Rogers of Bend died May 13 of natural causes. He was 83.
The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the VFW Hall in Bend.
Mr. Rogers was born Dec. 30, 1917, in Luck, Wis., to Walter and Bertha Rogers. He grew up in Kansas and Missouri. The family moved to Portland when he was 16, and he apprenticed with the Union Pacific Railroad as a machinist-mechanic.
He served in the Navy on the USS Antietam during World War II.
After the war, Mr. Rogers worked for the Postal Service delivering special delivery mail and for the Bonneville Power Administration.
In 1956 he and his wife Bertha and family moved to Hermiston, where he began working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. They moved to Orofino, Idaho, in 1969, where he worked as an inspector during the construction of Dworshak Dam.
After a divorce, he moved to Eugene in 1970, and then moved to Bend in 1977 after retiring.
He married
Imogene Kurtz in 1981 in Salem.
In Hermiston, Mr. Rogers was a Sunday school superintendent at First Methodist Church and district governor of Toastmasters International. In Eugene he became active in the Eugene-Springfield Singles and served as president. He was an active life member of the VFW, the Eagles and Moose Lodges and other charitable organizations.
He invented the ”What's Trump” cube for pinochle and bridge.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene of Bend; two daughters, Carolyn Rogers of Beaverton and Barbara Harris of Canby; one stepdaughter, Janis Robertson of Vancouver, Wash.; one stepson, Mark Kurtz of Las Vegas; one brother, Gail of Coulee Dam, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.
