Mrs. George was born Dec. 16, 1906, in Palmyra, Penn., to Christian and Mabel (Evans) Longenecker. She worked as a registered nurse and moved to Bend in 1976.
She enjoyed her family.
Survivors include five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and a sister.

Wanda Irene (Pharr) Prigmore
May 6, 1924 - Nov. 17, 2004
Wanda Irene (Pharr) Prigmore of Bend died Wednesday of natural causes. She was 80.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Prigmore was born May 6, 1924, in Little Rock, Ark., to Dr. James and Mineola (Province) Pharr.
She loved nature, wildlife, camping and fishing. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, quilting, gourd craft and beading. She also enjoyed cooking, baking bread and gardening.
Survivors include her two sons, Edward Castile of Indiana and Leslie Castile of Oregon; a daughter, Theresa Van Diest of California; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Frankie G. Adams
Feb. 10, 1924 - Oct. 21, 2004
Frankie G. Adams of Bend died Oct. 21, 2004, of natural causes. She was 80.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 27, at First Methodist Church in Bend.

Francis Lynn Callahan
Dec. 8, 1952 - Nov. 27, 2004
Francis Lynn Callahan of Bend died Nov. 27 of leukemia. He was 51.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, at Niswonger, Reynolds Funeral Home.
Mr. Callahan was born Dec. 8, 1952, in Bend, to Frank and Esther (O'Steen) Callahan. He graduated from Bend High School. He married
Wanda Rodgers on July 4, 1990, in Lake Tahoe, Nev.
Mr. Callahan owned and operated Callahan's Backhoe and Dump Truck Service. His interests included hunting, fishing and taking care of his family. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and drag racing.
Survivors include his wife of Bend; a son, Phillip of Bend; a daughter, Paula Head of Bend; a brother, Everett Cole of Bend; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Allan Evert Jamison

Allan Evert Jamison of Covelo, Calif., died Wednesday. He was 79.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at the Covelo cemetery in Covelo. A reception will follow at Covelo Legion Hall.
Mr. Jamison was born April 2, 1925, in Upper Lake, Calif., to Rodney and Margie Jamison. He enlisted in the Navy in 1943 and served on the U.S.S. Tilefish submarine. Mr. Jamison was a radar technician, motor machinist mate 2nd class and served torpedo boat duty. He received World War II victory medals and two gold stars for submarine combat duty. Mr. Jamison was discharged in 1946 in San Pedro, Calif., and married
Phyllis Anderson.
The couple moved to Ukiah, Calif., where Mr. Jamison worked at the Ridgewood Ranch. He later moved to Payson, Ariz., and started a construction business with his brothers. Five years later he returned to Northern California and managed the Lone Pine Ranch for next 45 years. He married
Norma Morton.
Mr. Jamison served as president of J.C.'s in Payson, Ariz. He was deputized sheriff in both Mendocino and Trinity Counties. He was a lifelong member of the California Cattlemen's Association and Farm Bureau. He sat on the county planning commission and school boards and was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include three daughters, Lila James of Covelo, Calif., Ardis Faulkner of Mitchell and Gail Faulkner of Covelo; two brothers, Don and Glen; a sister, Myrna Archer; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both his wives.

John Donald Marks

John Donald Marks of Bend died Tuesday of natural causes. He was 53.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the La Pine Community cemetery in La Pine.
Mr. Marks was born Nov. 21, 1951, in Woodburn, to Jean and Frances (Wilson) Marks. He graduated from Springfield High School. He served in the Air Force from 1971 until 1974.
Mr. Marks worked as as accountant for the city of Eugene from the late 1970s until his retirement in the early 1990s. He moved to Bend to be closer to his family in October of 2003.
He enjoyed gardening and cars.
Survivors include his companion, Byron Cooper of Salem; a brother, Frank Marks of La Pine; and two sisters, Leah Jensen of Bend and Camie Lambert of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Oral R. Slim' Heavilin
June 28, 1913 - Nov. 29, 2004
Oral R. "Slim" Heavilin of Fort Rock died Monday of natural causes. He was 91.
A committal service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 4, at Fort Rock cemetery. A potluck will follow at the Fort Rock Grange Hall.
Mr. Heavilin was born June 28, 1913, in Klamath Falls, to George and Eva (Holland) Heavilin. He married
Mary Burnett on Sept. 12, 1937, in Medford.
Mr. Heavilin worked as an auxiliary military police officer for the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for Hercules Powder from 1956 to 1967. He later owned and operated a cattle ranch.
He was a member of the Cattlemen's Association and was a Boy Scout leader.
He enjoyed traveling, visiting ghost towns, working on his ranch and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of Fort Rock; two sons, Jack of Fort Rock and Danny of Arcata, Calif.; one daughter Dolores Freiberg of Springfield; two foster daughters, Colleen Titman of Spokane, Wash. and Ellen Swartz of Sparks, Nev.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Susanna Margaret Parish

Susanna Margaret Parish of Madras died Tuesday from a work-related accident. She was 29.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today, Dec. 4, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Madras.
Miss Parish was born July 17, 1975, in Goldendale, Wash., to Ross and Nancy (Pierc) Parish. She worked at the Brightwood Corporation. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Madras.
Miss Parish's interests included reading, dancing and shopping. She also enjoyed watching old movies and decorating.
Survivors include her parents of Madras; a brother, Matthew of Madras; two sisters, Sally Patrick of La Pine and Angela Peck of Springfield; and grandmother, Elsie Pedrin of Wakefield, Mont.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Madras.

Ethel Marie Bruch of Medford died Sunday. She was 96.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at Deschutes Memorial Gardens in Bend.
Mrs. Bruch was born November 30, 1907, in Hood River, to David and Estella (Hanson) Pyles. She married
Lawrence Bruch on Feb. 14, 1936, in Portland. She moved to Bend in 1936.
She is survived by a son, Donald of Medford; a daughter, Beverly Kittleson of Vancouver, Wash.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.

Mildred Alice Gass

Mildred Alice Gass of Bend died Friday. She was 81.
Private services will be held at Greenwood cemetery in Bend.
Mrs. Gass was born Dec. 11, 1922, in Green County, Tenn., to Sam and Estelle (Baskett) Chase. She was raised in Tennessee and later lived in Illinois. She married
Kay Gass on Jan. 8, 1946, in Gate City, Va. She moved to Bend in 1979.
Mrs. Gass enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Mark of Bend; two daughters, Kathy May and Pat Doser both of Bend; three sisters, Mabel McAmis and Alice Chase, both of Greenville, and Gladys Staten of Loves Park, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers.
