Ontario - Lee A. Halsell, 62, of Ontario, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009, at his home. He was born on June 4, 1947, to Robert and Juanita Brown Halsell. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He married Rosemary Cassity on June 4, 1971, in Nampa, Idaho, and the couple moved to Ontario in 1989. Three children were born to this union. They were later divorced. He worked as a truck driver retiring about three years ago. He greatly enjoyed drawing animals and Western scenery. He is survived by his two sons ,Lee Halsell Jr., of North Bend, Ore, and Kenneth Lee Halsell, of Ontario; a daughter, Denell Halsell, of Ontario; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Rose Silence, of Ontario; a sister, Patricia Ginther; and two brothers, Jack and Kerry Halsell. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2009, at the Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette.
