Allen William Cook
Mass will be celebrated for Allen William Cook at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Medford.
Mr. Cook, 79, of Medford, died Saturday (Jan. 3, 1998) at Three Fountains Nursing Center.
He was born June 22, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in Chicago.
Mr. Cook attended Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., for two years, studying for a career in radio and TV.
From 1947 to 1966, he was an anchorman at WKZO TV in Kalamazoo, Mich. He worked for WTOC TV in Savannah, Ga., from 1967 to 1972, then for WJKS TV in Jacksonville, Fla., from 1973 to 1975, when he moved to Medford.
He was an avid reader.
Survivors include two sons, Brent W., Jekyll Island, Fla., and Craig P., Laguna Hills, Calif.; a daughter, Jeanne M. Cook, Black Butte; and five grandchildren.

Keith Edward Campbell
The memorial service for Keith Edward Campbell will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Eternal Hills Chapel in Klamath Falls. Don Ruhl will officiate. Private interment will be in Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
Keith, 14, formerly of Phoenix, died Saturday (Jan. 3, 1998) in Klamath Falls, where he was living.
He was born Nov. 17, 1983, in Salem.
Keith attended Orchard Hill Elementary School and Talent Middle School before the family moved to Klamath Falls in 1996.
In Klamath Falls, he was a student at Brixner Junior High School where he was a member of the Pop Warner football team and the AAU basketball team..
Keith also played Babe Ruth baseball and enjoyed fishing and camping with his family, golfing, and rap music.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Eugenia LeAnn and Daniel Lee, Klamath Falls; his father, George E. Campbell, in Ohio; a sister, Jamie Campbell, Klamath Falls; his grandparents, Bob and Noriko Lee, Central Point, Sharon Campbell, Turner, Billy and Donna Steward, in Ohio, and Jo Ann Bowling, in Arkansas.

Vera Hanson Caswell
The memorial service for Vera Hansen Caswell will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Ashland Elks Lodge. Pastor John Braund of First Presbyterian Church, Phoenix, will officiate. Interment will be in Moorhead, N.D.
Mrs. Caswell, 86, of Ashland, died Wednesday (Jan. 7, 1998) at the Ashland Community Hospital.
She was born Vera Winter on Sept. 11, 1911, in Missouri.
In September 1936, in North Dakota, she married Lawrence Hanson, who died in 1970.
In April 1992, in West Fargo, N.D., she married Robert Caswell, who survives.
Mrs. Caswell worked at the Herbst Department Store in West Fargo for 15 years.
She moved to Ashland in 1992.
Mrs. Caswell was a member of the West Fargo Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling, dancing and playing cards.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three daughters, Loretta Nesdahl, Ashland, Norma Kramlich, Fargo, N.D., and Fay Wegscheid, Glendale, Ariz.; a sister, Maxine Jesme, Medford; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Andrew S. Grant
The memorial service for Andrew S. Grant will be at 11 a.m. today in the Hull & Hull Chapel, Grants Pass. Private interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Grant, 78, of Applegate, died Wednesday (Jan. 7, 1998) at his home.

He was born March 6, 1919, in El Centro, Calif. Three years later, the family moved to Chino, Calif., where his parents owned a dairy.
In 1943, in Chino, he married Doris Bird. They were later divorced.
In 1975, in Las Vegas, he married Barbara Kimball, who survives.
Mr. Grant owned Andrew's Manstore in Chino for five years. From 1972 to 1984, he was a sales representative with L & L Nursery Supply in Chino.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Ontario, Calif., and the Rotary Club in Chino. He enjoyed landscaping.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Donna D. Beno, Chino; two sons, Andrew L., Huntington Beach, Calif., and John A., Yorba Linda, Calif.; a stepson, Gene Kimball, Williams; a stepdaughter, Susan Kimball Harker, Medford; a sister, Jessie Chalton, Upland, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

John T. Bower
John T. Bower, 88, of Medford, died Sunday (Jan. 4, 1998) at his home. No service is planned.
He was born Oct. 5, 1909, in Page County, Iowa.
On Aug. 12, 1936, in Red Oak, Iowa, he married Margaret Belle Maranville, who died Dec. 7, 1995. They moved to the Rogue Valley 27 years ago from San Lorenzo, Calif.
An electrician, he owned John Bower Service in Medford for 10 years, retiring in 1987.
Mr. Bower was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union.
Survivors include a daughter, Dama Angela Bower, San Jose, Calif.

Mary Elisabeth Kelley
Mary Elisabeth Kelley, 79, of Medford, died Thursday (Dec. 25, 1997) at the Medford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. No service is planned.
She was born Mary Welling on March 6, 1915, in Hannibal, N.Y.
On Oct. 31, 1942, in San Francisco, she married Ira Delmer Kelley, who died in 1997. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1988 from Gilroy, Calif.
Mrs. Kelley was a teacher and librarian in San Francisco.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church, the American Association of University Women, Oswego Alumnae of San Francisco University, and the Commodore Sloat Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution in Monterey, Calif.
She enjoyed traveling and reading.
Survivors include a daughter, Michele Susan Kelley Hults, Gilroy; a brother, Jack Welling, Hannibal; a sister, Nancy Gibbons, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Marian Alice Kennedy
The memorial service for Marian Alice Kennedy will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 304 Schumacher, Cave Junction. Ken Ratburn will officiate.
Mrs. Kennedy, 85, of Cave Junction, died Friday (Jan. 2, 1998) at the home of her son in Cave Junction.
She was born Marian Gage on Sept. 17, 1912, in Pasadena, Calif.
On July 4, 1938, in Cave Junction, she married Milton Kennedy, who died in 1977. They moved to Cave Junction in 1949 from Grants Pass.
Mrs. Kennedy was a Jehovah's Witness member in Cave Junction.
She enjoyed crocheting, talking about the Bible, and raising orchids.
Survivors include five sons, Dennis, Cave Junction, Richard Lash, Gold Hill, Herby, Redding, Calif., David, Tehachapi, Calif., and Michael, Hollister, Mo.; two daughters, Kathleen Kennedy Field and Maureen Neil, both Cave Junction; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Gage; and a granddaughter.

James R. Coriell
The memorial service for James R. Coriell will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Medford Moose Lodge.
Mr. Coriell, 75, of Central Point, died Thursday (Jan. 8, 1998) at Providence Medford Medical Center.
