Lyman W. Allen
The funeral for Lyman Woodberry Allen will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ashland First Ward.
Mr. Allen, 81, of Talent, died Wednesday (March 11, 1998) at Hearthstone in Medford.
He was born Jan. 8, 1917, in Boston, Mass.
In 1962, he married Josephine Olsen, who survives.
Mr. Allen was an engineer in the aircraft division of Northrop Corp. in Southern California.
He moved to Grants Pass in 1982 from Long Beach, Calif., then to Talent in 1988.
Mr. Allen was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and enjoyed golfing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Christopher, Long Beach; a brother, Carl, in California; a sister, Arlene Braden, in California; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, John Olson.

Fred Robert Bohm
Fred Robert Bohm, 90, of Medford, died Tuesday (March 10, 1998) at the Heritage at Rogue Valley. A private service is planned. Private inurnment will be in Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford.

He was born Oct. 17, 1907, in Stuttgart, Germany. Seven years later the family immigrated to Bridgeport, Conn.
In 1933, he married Stephanie Wittick, who died in 1989.
Mr. Bohm graduated from Chicago Technical College.
He worked in construction and architecture and was superintendent for one of the largest construction companies in New England,.
In 1941, he moved to California where he built refineries for Union 76 Oil.
After moving to the Rogue Valley in 1945, Mr. Bohm built houses on speculation. He then became a Medford building inspector, retiring in 1972.
Mr. Bohm enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Peter, Medford, and Barry, Brookings; a sister, Olga Howard, Bridgeport; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

John M. McLean
The memorial service for John Melville McLean will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Methodist Church of Ashland. Interment will be in Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland.
Mr. McLean, 90, formerly of Ashland, died Wednesday (March 11, 1998) at his home in Gresham.
He was born April 12, 1907, in Ontario, Canada.
After graduating from high school, he attended Wasatch Academy in Utah.
On Oct. 23, 1943, he married Helen Bailey, who died in 1993.
In 1953, they moved from Salt Lake City, to San Mateo, Calif., where he worked in the communications industry until his retirement.
They moved to Ashland in 1975, and he to Gresham in 1993.
A Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner in Salt Lake City, he was active in Boy Scouts for 20 years in San Mateo and was named "Mr. Troop 21" for his years of service.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy House, Tualatin, and Ardis Black, Mesa, Ariz.; three sons, Bruce, Ashland, Roger, Campbell, Calif., and Duncan, Denver, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son.

Caroline E. Jensen
The graveside service for Caroline Elizabeth Jensen will be at noon Saturday in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford. Family members will officiate.
Following the interment, friends and relatives will gather at the home of Judi Jensen, 2940 Taylor Road, Central Point.
Mrs. Jensen, 98, of Central Point, died Monday (March 9, 1998) in Central Point.

She was born Caroline Rowling on Nov. 29, 1899, in Gurnee, Ill.
As a young woman she was a hat maker and worked at Chico Hot Springs in Montana.
On June 21, 1920, in Livingston, Mont., she married Charles P. Jensen, who preceded her in death. They moved to a ranch on the Yellowstone River then settled in Oregon in 1937.
Mrs. Jensen was a member of the Central Point Community Bible Church and the Central Point Museum Rock Club. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for her grandchildren.
Survivors include five sons, Russ and Joey, both Eagle Point, Jim, Medford, Bob, Klamath Falls, and Burton, Palmer, Alaska; four daughters, Charlet Gunter, Eagle Point, Dorthy Hill, Billings, Mont., Aedene Arthur, Palmer, and Nancy Marlo, Val Vleck, Texas; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 6 to 7:30 tonight at Abbey Funeral, Medford.
Ramona Fay Wilson
The graveside service for Ramona Fay Wilson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford. Lyle McCaw of the White City Christian Church will officiate.
Mrs. Wilson, 69, of Medford, died Wednesday (March 11, 1998) at Providence Medford Medical Center.
She was born Ramona Hampton on July 16, 1928, in Lakeview. She moved to the Rogue Valley 52 years ago from Lakeview.
On June 10, 1946, in Reno, she married Roy Junior Wilson, who survives.
Mrs. Wilson enjoyed reading.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Gayle Wilson, Medford; a brother, Lee Hampton, Lakeview; and a sister, Viola Denbrook, Lakeview. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances DeArmond.

Roy Amos Black
The memorial service for Roy Amos Black will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Medford First Church of God. Pastor John Wiuff will officiate. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Black, 67, of Medford, died Monday (March 9, 1998) at his home.

He was born Sept. 11, 1930, in Ashland, a son of Jess Warren and Irene Bushnell Black.
On March 7, 1953, in Spokane, Wash., he married Helen Adler, who survives.
Mr. Black was a long-haul truck driver for various companies.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1949 to 1952.
Mr. Black was a lay minister for the First Church of God and enjoyed reading, hunting, and fishing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Warren, White City, and Daniel, Medford; three daughters, Sandra Schmaltz and Cynthia McClure, both Medford, and Sheryll Lobdell, Portland; two brothers, Ray W., his twin, Ashland, and Clarence Pyle, Longview, Wash.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Alice and Bessie.

Bill Esterblad
The graveside service for William "Bill" C. Esterblad will be at 10 a.m. today in Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford. Members of the Ashland Masonic Lodge will officiate.
Mr. Esterblad, 86, of Phoenix, died Wednesday (March 11, 1998) at Providence Medford Medical Center.
He was born March 4, 1912, in Grays Harbor, Wash.
Mr. Esterblad served in the U.S. Army.
Later he lived in St. Louis, Mo., where he was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He moved to Medford in 1970 and later to Phoenix.
Survivors include a granddaughter and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean V. Mismier Esterblad.

Vicky Bushong
The memorial service for Vicky Bushong will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Rogue Valley Manor auditorium. Officiating will be Chaplain Don Hildebrand and the Rev. Joyce Bushong-Ellis, a daughter.
Mrs. Bushong, 88, of Medford, died Saturday (March 7, 1998) at her home at the Rogue Valley Manor Health Center.

She was born Victoria Seymour on June 4, 1909, in Forest Grove.
Mrs. Bushong attended Oregon State University, Corvallis, and graduated from what was then Pacific College, Forest Grove.
On July 29, 1934, in Forest Grove, she married James W. Bushong, who survives.
They lived in Bend for several years, then in Grosse Pointe, Mich., from 1940 to 1962. For 27 years, they lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, where Mr. Bushong was president of Kamehameha Schools. They returned to Medford in 1989.
Mrs. Bushong was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Medford and PEO Sisterhood. She enjoyed raising roses, needlework, mah-jongg, and bridge.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include four daughters, Joyce Ellis, Orinda, Calif., Janis Siemon, Los Alamos, N.M., Elizabeth Armstrong, Marietta, Ga., and Kathy Patterson, Sidney, Australia; a brother, George Seymour, Forest Grove; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
