Paul V. Hallenberg
The memorial graveside service for Paul Victor Hallenberg will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Eagle Point National Cemetery. Pastor James Larsen of Rogue Valley Christian Church, will officiate.
Mr. Hallenberg was born June 25, 1922, in Hillsboro, N.D.
On Feb. 3, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nev., he married Betty E. Hopkins, who survives. They moved to Shady Cove 10 years ago from Redding, Calif., and to Medford four years ago.
Mr. Hallenberg was a chemist for Texaco Corp. for 31 years.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant.
He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a step-son, Richard Diedrich, Puyallup, Wash.; a step-daughter, Diana Cooksey, Tyler, Texas; a sister, Margaret Owens in Minnesota; and eight step-grandchildren.

Gladys Stohr
The graveside service for Gladys Stohr will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Eagle Point National Cemetery. Pastor Marion Clarkson will officiate.
Mrs. Stohr, 86, of Grants Pass, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at her home.

She was born Aug. 21, 1911, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
She graduated from Pasadena College, where she also completed post-graduate work.
On June 21, 1932, in Glendale, Calif., she married Eldon P. Stohr, who survives. They moved to Grants Pass 20 years ago from Pasadena, Calif.
She was a reading specialist at Tonapah School in the Bassett School District in Las Puente, Calif.
Mrs. Stohr was a life member of the California Teachers Association and the National Education Association and a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Medford.
She traveled every summer and also enjoyed reading.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Donna McGarrah, Button Willow, Calif.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Hull & Hull Chapel, Grants Pass.
Robert Judson Morris
Robert "Bob" Judson Morris, 81, of Medford, died Friday (Dec. 3, 1999) at Farmington Square in Medford. A private service was held.

He was born on Feb. 24, 1918 in Roseburg, and moved to the Rogue Valley with his parents in 1936.
On May 11, 1938, in Medford, he married his high school sweetheart, Janice Shreeve, who survives.
He worked with his parents at Medford's Top Notch Cafe, then moved to Alaska with his wife. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, and returned to Medford after the war. He operated Morris Food Brokerage Co., and sold commercial real estate. He and his wife managed a pear orchard on Foothill Road they called Cheechako Orchards.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, travelling and playing golf. He was a member of the Rogue Valley Country Club and the Medford Rogue Monarch Lions Club.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Thomas Jay Morris and George Bretton "Brett" Morris, Medford; a daughter, Sylvia Lu Leatherman, Medford; a sister, Ella May Minneman, Walnut Creek, Calif.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, George J. Morris and Lu Ella Robins Morris, as well as two brothers and two sisters.
Eunice McManama
The graveside service for Eunice McManama will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Tahoma Cemetery, Yakima, Wash.
Mrs. McManama, 77, formerly of Medford, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at Providence Hospital in Yakima. Her home was in Yakima.

She was born Eunice Jones on Oct. 7, 1921, in Yakima.
Mrs. McManama lived in Medford from the late 1940s to the early 1980s, when she returned to Washington.
She was active in the Foster Grandparents program in Epic, and the Senior Citizens Center in Toppenish, Wash. In Medford, she was a member of the Eagles, Elks and Moose lodges.
Survivors include a son, Donald L. Stubbs, Medford; a brother, W.G. Jones, Rainier, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, three sisters, and two brothers.
William L. Robinson
The service for William Lawrence Robinson will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Medford. The Rev. David Close will officiate. Private interment will be in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson, 74, of Central Point, died Wednesday (April 22, 1998) at his home.

Mr. Robinson was born Jan. 24, 1924, in Vancouver, B.C. He grew up in Canada, Detroit, and Oakland, Calif.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1945.
On Dec. 7, 1946, in Ashland, he married Annella F. Converse, who survives.
He was a 1951 graduate of Oregon State University, majoring in pomology.
Mr. Robinson was a life member of the Medford Elks Lodge and a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. He enjoyed gardening and reading.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Jane Dunn, Enterprise, and a brother, Stanley, San Leandro, Calif.

Charles Spurgeon
The memorial service for Charles Spurgeon will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Perl Funeral Service-Siskiyou Chapel.
Mr. Spurgeon, 60, of Medford, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at the Rogue Valley Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 11, 1937, in Colterville, Ill.
On May 29, 1964, in Winnemucca, Nev., he married Myrna Bone, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1977 from Taylorsville, Calif.
Mr. Spurgeon was a project manager for Erickson Air-Crane, having worked there for 33 years.
He enjoyed gardening.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Richard Walker, White City, and Lane Walker, Jacksonville; two daughters, Sandy Stephenson, Medford, and Christy Breidel, Mariposa, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Matthew Kocmieroski
Matthew A. Kocmieroski, 81, of Ashland, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at Linda Vista Care Center, Ashland. No public service is planned.

He was born May 9, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and grew up in Wood Haven, N.Y.
On Jan. 11, 1937, in New York, he married July Barringer, who survives.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in Europe.
Mr. Kocmieroski was a buyer, then department and group managers for Macy's, retiring in 1978 after 32 years.
In Huntington, N.Y., he opened Toy City.
He was a volunteer with the Medford/Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, served on the Ashland Senior Board and worked with the League of Women's Voters, Affordable Housing, Multicultural Association, and Fair Share of Oregon for Affordable Medical Care.
A member of the American Association of Retired Persons, he held jobs on the local and state levels, including community coordinator and Health Care Awareness.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Claudia Kocmieroski, San Francisco; a son, Matthew, Seattle; a sister, Helen Connell, Mountain Lakes, N.J., and a grandson.

Pauline Warman
Pauline Warman, 84, of Trail, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at Three Fountains Nursing Center, Medford. No service is planned. Interment will be in Angels Lawn, Anaheim, Calif.

She was born Ruby Pauline Pippin on Jan. 27, 1914, in Santa Fe, N.M. She moved to the Rogue Valley 10 years ago from Palmdale, Calif.
Survivors include a daughter, Nadine Zmrhal, Trail; a son, Marvin Wright, Prospect; two step-sons, Edward Warman, Wesminster, Colo., and David Warman, Burlington, Iowa; five brothers, Robert Pippin, Hermiston, Silver and Grover Pippin, both in Texas, and Douglas and Dwight Pippin, both in New Mexico; two sisters, Maggie Hughes, Blue Diamond, Nev., and Margie Borrego, Espanola, N.M.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, J. Wesley Wright and Herschel E. Warman; a son, Alvin Wright; and two brothers, James and Ralph Pippin.
