Tom E. Richardson
The memorial service for Tommy "Tom" Edward Richardson will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Veterans Affairs Domiciliary Chapel in White City. Chaplain Jerry Gilmore will officiate.
Mr. Richardson, 42, of Grants Pass, died Monday (April 27, 1998) in White City.
He was born Jan. 22, 1955, in Sacramento, Calif.
On June 20, 1986, in Reno, Nev., he married Susan Rhoades, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley three years ago from Rockland, Calif.
Mr. Richardson served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He had been a mental health care worker at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Richardson enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Sean Richardson and Patrick Richardson, both Grants Pass; his mother, Alice Richardson, Grants Pass; a brother, Mark, Rockland; and a sister, Larea Stainbrook, Auburn, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Richardson.

Susanne Montgomery
Susanne Helen Montgomery, 86, of Medford, died Tuesday (April 28, 1998) in Medford. A private service was held. Private inurnment was in the Phoenix Cemetery.
She was born Susanne Barkley on March 19, 1912, in Bridgeport, Wash., and moved to the Rogue Valley 80 years ago with her family.
In 1938, in Medford, she married Raymond Montgomery, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Montgomery was a buyer with Mann's Department Store in Medford for many years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed playing bridge and decorative painting.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Meunier, Central Point, and Linca Kocina, Vancouver, Wash.; and three grandchildren.

George D. Palmer
George D. Palmer, 86, of Medford, died Monday (April 27, 1998), in Medford. No service is planned. Private inurnment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford.
He was born April 4, 1912, in El Monte, Calif.
Mr. Palmer was married to Cecilia Downer Stephens, who died in April 1998.
They moved to the Rogue Valley nine years ago from Southern California.
Survivors include two stepsons, Robert L. Stephens, Corona, Ariz., and Donald E. Stephens, Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Verona Marie Wold
Verona Marie Wold, 88, of Ashland, died Tuesday (April 28, 1998) at her home. No service is planned. Inurnment will be in the Concordia Church Cemetery in Glyndon, Minn.

She was born Aug. 10, 1909, in farming country near Moorhead, Minn.
She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1926 and from Concordia College, Moorhead, in 1930.
Miss Wold was a high school teacher in Minnesota and North Dakota until 1944, when she moved to Ashland.
After working briefly for Angus Bowmer at Southern Oregon Normal School, she began working for the city of Ashland in March 1945. Miss Wold was the lone office employee working with city administrator Elmer Biegel.
As the city staff grew, Miss Wold held numerous positions, including head of utility billing, secretary and counter worker. She was working at the city warehouse at the time of her retirement in 1974.
Miss Wold attended the Ashland First Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Soroptimist Club, receiving a life membership in its service club. She played violin in local symphonies and enjoyed attending the Community Concerts Music series and Britt Festivals classical concerts. An avid gardener, she particularly enjoyed flowers.
Survivors include three cousins, Alice Polikowsky, Moorhead, and Daryle Rustvold and Margit Rustvold, both Vancouver, Wash. She was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Leslie K. Ward
The graveside service for Leslie K. Ward will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford. The Rev. Mark Cach of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Medford, will officiate.
Mr. Ward, 46, of Medford, died Wednesday (April 29, 1998), at his home.
He was born March 21, 1952, in Medford.
He attended St. Mary's High School and Medford High School.
He was a lifelong resident of the Rogue Valley.
Mr. Ward enjoyed hunting, fishing and picking mushrooms.
Survivors include two brothers, Bernard, Medford, and Ken, Central Point; and two sisters, Dorothy DeFrance and Agnes Oden, Medford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis V. and Anna P. Ward; and a sister, Mary Maloney.

Agnes Blanche Hendrix
The graveside service for Agnes Blanche Hendrix will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland. Pastor Don Baker of Ashland Christian Fellowship will officiate.
Mrs. Hendrix, 93, of Medford, died Wednesday (April 29, 1998) at St. John's Hospital, Houston, Texas, while visiting her daughter and granddaughter.

She was born Agnes Clifford on Aug. 15, 1904, in Pierre, S.D.
In September 1930, she married Morris Hendrix, who died March 31, 1998. They lived in Ashland for many years, operating the Plaza Bakery.
Survivors include a daughter, Leatrice Colpitts, Houston; two grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Clara Castle, preceded her in death.

Shirley B. Raymond
The graveside service for Shirley B. Raymond will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mrs. Raymond, 69, of Jacksonville, died Tuesday (April 28, 1998) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

John Ralph Moulton
The funeral for John Ralph Moulton will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Conger-Morris Medford Chapel. The Rev. Bob Olson of the Apostolic Faith Church, Medford, will officiate. Interment will follow in Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford.
Mr. Moulton, 91, of Jacksonville, died Saturday (April 25, 1998) in Roseburg.
He was born Nov. 3, 1906, in Westport, Ind., and lived most of his life in the Rogue Valley.
On April 6, 1929, in Ashland, he married Josephine Cota, who died in February 1969.
Mr. Moulton was a logger in his early years, then a tree topper and roofer. Later he was an equipment operator for Jackson County.
He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church and enjoyed picking mushrooms, hunting, and fishing.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Love and Joan Wilder, both Medford; a son, Kenneth, Roseburg; two sisters, Mary Etta Newman, Bly, and Pauline Haskins, Vallejo, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Delores Myers, died in May 1996. Nine siblings also preceded him in death.

Raymond Cluff
The funeral for Raymond Cluff will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ashland. Bishop Claude Clason will officiate. Interment will follow in Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland.
Mr. Cluff, 84, of Ashland, died Friday (April 24, 1998) at a son's home in Ashland.
He was born March 30, 1914, in Pima, Ariz.
On Jan. 3, 1938, in Alhambra, Calif., he married Minnie Eileen Severy, who preceded him in death. On Jan. 5, 1938, the marriage was sealed in the LDS Temple in Mesa, Ariz.
Mr. Cluff lived in Lehi and Mesa, for many years before moving to Ashland in 1959.
He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in a number of positions in Southern Oregon and Northern California.
Mr. Cluff enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis and Marvin, both Ashland; four daughters, Jeri Bounds and Anne Noble, both Ashland, Lorinda Hanes, St. Charles, Ill., and Niki Cadenhead, Toronto, Ontario; four sisters, Mable Allred and Iola Brown, both Mesa, and Connie Bodkin and Marge Shane, both Show Low, Ariz.; 25 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
