Virginia L. Boerner
The graveside service for Virginia Lorraine Boerner will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Eagle Point National Cemetery. Pastor Rick Vestnys of the Applegate Christian Fellowship will officiate.
Mrs. Boerner, 70, of Central Point, died Monday (July 20, 1998) at her home.

She was born Virginia Dunbar on Sept. 1, 1927, in Pasadena, Calif.
On Oct. 29, 1953, in Las Vegas, she married William Boerner, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1966 from Westminster, Calif.
Mrs. Boerner enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking and fishing.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, William J., Central Point; five daughters, Peggy Bender, Medford, Jeanne Bumgardner, Linda Cowler and Shirley Buckmaster, all Central Point, and Denise Clark, Grants Pass; a sister, Shirley Andrus, in Arizona; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A daughter, Shirley, died in 1947.

Taylor C. Mossman
The funeral for Taylor Colin Mossman will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ashland. Interment will follow in Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland.
Taylor Mossman, 3, son of Charity Mae Mossman of Talent and Chad Aaron Miller of Portland, died Saturday (July 18, 1998) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 8, 1994, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Toddler School at the Rogue Valley Child Development Center.
Taylor was blessed into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he attended nursery every Sunday.
He enjoyed family and friends, animals, playing outside and having his picture taken.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include grandparents, Debra Lucille Hoffman, Talent, and Leslie Warner Mossman, Portland; an aunt, Amy Marie Mossman, Talent; an uncle, Sterling Ryan Hoffman, Talent; and a cousin, Levi Austin Mossman, Talent.
Friends may pay their respects from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home.
Adella Roberts-Pulley
The funeral for Adella S. Roberts-Pulley will be at noon Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sunnyvale, Calif. President Don Hull will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto, Calif.
Mrs. Roberts-Pulley, 90, of Medford, died Friday (July 17, 1998) at her home.

She was born Adella S. Sommers on June 5, 1908, in Montpelier, Idaho.
On Nov. 23, 1925, in Paris, Idaho, she married Llwellyn Roberts, who died in 1976. She married Rodman Levy Pulley in 1977, who died in 1986.
Mrs. Roberts-Pulley was a retired nurse's aide.
She organized and operated the welfare cannery of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Mateo, Calif. She moved to Medford in 1997.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening and singing.
Survivors include three daughters, Marie Bliss, Medford, Lois Pierce, Gilbert, Ariz., and Betty Larson, Mountain View, Calif.; one brother, Woodruff Sommers, Sacramento, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Colleen Padilla, and 14 brothers and sisters.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 4:30 p.m. today at Abbey Funeral, 2680 N. Pacific Highway, Medford.
Helen M. Tully
Helen Margaret Tully, 86, of Medford, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., died Saturday (July 18, 1998) at her home. A memorial service will be held later.

She was born Helen Margaret Barrett on Aug. 22, 1911, in Boston, Mass.
Ms. Tully recently moved to the Rogue Valley from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where she had lived for 43 years.
She was a customer service representative for Sun Trust in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., for 40 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a life member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Richard, Medford, and Robert, Murphys, Calif.; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.

Inez Dora Chase
The funeral for Inez Dora Chase will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Perl Funeral Service-Siskiyou Chapel. Interment will follow in Siskiyou Memorial Park.
Mrs. Chase, 97, of Yreka, died Saturday (July 19, 1988), at Beverley Manor Convalescent Hospital in Yreka, Calif.
She was born Inez Dora Ager on Aug. 27, 1900, a daughter of Jud and Emma Ager, in Ager, Siskiyou County.
Mrs. Chase attended Willow Creek school and graduated from Siskiyou Union High School in Yreka in 1919.
In 1932 she married Don Chase, who preceded her in death.
The couple lived in Prospect for several years before moving to Medford in 1944. She moved to Yreka in 1994.
Mrs. Chase was an 80-year member of Stella Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, in Yreka, and Zuleima Temple, Daughters of the Nile, in Medford.
She is survived by a sister, Harriet Denney, Yreka; and three nieces, Katherine Kirkland, Pacifica, Calif., Harriett Orchard, Carmichael, Calif., and Margaret Fay (Peggy) White of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Thomas W. Rider
The funeral for Thomas "Tom" W. Rider was held Monday at Central Valley Chapel, Central Point.
Mr. Rider, 58, of White City, died Tuesday (July 14, 1998) at his home.
He was born June 25, 1940, in Purcell, Mo., a son of the late Charlie and Grace Rider. The family moved to the Rogue Valley in 1948.
Mr. Rider owned and operated several businesses in the Rogue Valley.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by two brothers, Roy, Medford; and Frank, Simi Valley, Calif.

Samuel D. McCauley
The memorial service for Samuel Dewey McCauley will be at 10 a.m. today in the Phoenix Church of Christ.
Mr. McCauley, 89, of Medford, died Friday (July 17, 1998) in Medford.
He was born Sept. 2, 1908, in Mena, Ark.
On Aug. 2, 1930, in West Los Angeles, Calif., he married Thelma Marie Overcash, who survives. They lived in the Applegate area from 1974 to 1989, then moved to Medford.
Mr. McCauley retired from Food Machinery in San Jose, Calif., as head electrician. He was in the industry for 21 years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors, in addition to wife, include a son, Samuel Dewey Jr., Medford; a sister, Rita Hazel, Fresno, Calif.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Chris Leon Gold
The memorial service for Crystal "Chris" Leon Gold will be at 10 a.m. in the Veterans Affairs Domiciliary Chapel, White City. Inurnment will be in the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Gold, 71, of Central Point, died Sunday (July 19, 1998) at Hearthstone.

He was born July 30, 1926, in Climax, Jackson County.
On April 12, 1947, in Reno, he married Jeanette Deutschman, who survives.
Mr. Gold, who served about 10 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy, participated in Operation Deep Freeze in the 1940s and during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He was a heavy equipment mechanic in California for six years, then was with the Sacramento Sheriff's Department for seven years.
Mr. Gold was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion.
He enjoyed bingo.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, Robert, Sacramento, Calif., Lawrence, North Highlands, Calif., and Leon, Garfield, Ark.; a brother, Donald, Pleasant Plain, Ohio; four sisters, Alene Fisher, Jacksonville, Hazel M. Scanlan, Sacramento, Calif., Opal M. Smout, Post Falls, Idaho, and Nadine Green, Citrus Heights, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Robin; a sister, Velma Beck; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
