Trudy Bellerose
The funeral for Gertrude "Trudy" Bellerose will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Siskiyou Chapel, Medford. The Rev. Ray Elam of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mrs. Bellerose, 69, of Central Point, died Monday (Sept. 7, 1998) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

She was born Gertrude Keegan on Nov. 24, 1928, in Westbury, N.Y.
On Sept. 26, 1970, in Las Vegas, she married Robert G. Bellerose, who survives.
Mrs. Bellerose lived and worked in Southern California for 34 years before moving to the Rogue Valley seven years ago from Dominguez Hills, Calif.
She attended Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church and was a member of Women of Medford Moose Lodge and Rogue Valley Friendship Club.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two brothers, Clarence Keegan, Coram, N.Y., and Donald Keegan, Red Bank, N.J.; two sisters, Phyllis Richter, Huntington Station, N.Y., and Jessie Malone, Taylors, S.C.; and two grandchildren. A stepdaughter, Sherry Barker, preceded her in death.
Friends may pay their respects at 10 a.m. Friday in Siskiyou Chapel.

Jack E. Arnold
The graveside service for Jack E. Arnold will be at 1 p.m. today in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford. The Rev. Bob Gass of Harvest Baptist Church will officiate.
Mr. Arnold, 69, of Jacksonville, died Sunday (Sept. 6, 1998) at his home.
He was born May 12, 1929, in Choteau, Okla.
Mr. Arnold moved to Oregon in 1947 from Los Angeles.
On July 50, 1950, in Murphy, he married Jo Bowser, who survives.
Mr. Arnold was a retired Free Will Baptist Minister.
He was an avid guitar player and enjoyed fishing, hunting and radio-controlled airplanes and boats.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Eddy, Central Point; two daughters, Sandy Lommel, Grants Pass, and Shirley Miller, Roseville, Calif.; his mother, Thelma Bailey, Jacksonville; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Ottis Lloyd Dewey
The memorial service for Ottis Lloyd Dewey will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Memory Gardens Chapel, Medford. Pastor Tom Sabens of Table Rock Fellowship will officiate. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mr. Dewey, 82, of Central Point, died Monday (Sept. 7, 1998) at his home.

He was born April 1, 1916, in Lakeside, Ariz.
On May 27, 1943, in Waco, Texas, he married Anita Mae Willig, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1945.
Mr. Dewey was a weighmaster for the State of Oregon for 42 years before his retirement.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
Mr. Dewey was a member of the Central Point Fire Department, the Grange and Lions Club.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Leslie, Vancouver, Wash.; two daughters, Louella Bevacqua, Spokane, Wash., and William Bittle, Central Point; and four grandchildren. A sister, Ona Mayne, preceded him in death.

Kelly Joe Stancliff
The memorial service for Kelly Joe Stancliff will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Siskiyou Chapel, Medford. The Rev. John Dilworth of Multnomah Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Mr. Stancliff, 31, of Medford, died Tuesday (Sept. 8, 1998) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

He was born March 18, 1967, in Springfield, and moved to the Rogue Valley in the early 1980s.
On June 1, 1996, in Portland, he married Andrea Severson, who survives.
Mr. Stancliff was a member of the Teamsters Union, most recently driving a truck for USF Reddaway in Medford.
He served 13 years with the Oregon National Guard in Ashland.
Mr. Stancliff enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Brenden and Bradley, both Medford; his mother, Donna Joslin, Gold Hill; his father, Steven, John Day; a brother, Steven Jr., Grants Pass; and a sister, Sherry Stancliff, White City.

Ernest Howard White
The funeral for Ernest Howard White will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Memory Gardens Chapel, Medford. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mr. White, 88, of Jacksonville, died Tuesday (Sept. 8, 1998) at Farmington Square in Medford.
He was born Aug. 22, 1910, in Westfield, Mass.
On Sept. 20, 1930, in Springfield, Mass., he married Ruby E. Castaldini, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1972 from Redding, Calif.
Mr. White was a grocery clerk for more than 20 years at various supermarkets, retiring in 1972.
He was a member of the Valley Clerks Union and Ruch Community Bible Church.
He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, William L., Jacksonville, and Steven M., Eagle Point; a daughter, Pearl M. Becvar, Chehalis, Wash.; a brother, Kenneth E., Westfield, Mass.; a sister, Arlene Shively, Yakima, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal White; two brothers; and three sisters.
Friends may pay their respects from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.
Camie R. Johnson
The memorial service for Camie Rayleen Johnson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Bend Church of the Nazarene. Friends and relatives will gather at the family home after the service.
Ms. Johnson, 23, of Bend, formerly of Ashland, died Thursday (Sept. 3, 1998). She drowned at the Rogue River Gorge near Union Creek while saving her dog.
She was born Jan. 29, 1975, in Portland, and raised in Gresham.
Ms. Johnson graduated from Barlow High School, where she was active in sports.
She competed at the national level in roller skating and was a member of the track and volleyball teams while attending Mount Hood Community College.
Later she was involved with the Southern Oregon University volleyball program.
Ms. Johnson enjoyed snowboarding, mountain biking and hiking with her golden retriever, Jackson.
Survivors include her mother, Cindy Hadley, Bend; her father, Jon, Merced, Calif.; a brother, Cory, Anchorage, Alaska; and grandparents, Lois Olander, Bend, and Harold and Maxine Johnson, Vancouver, B.C.
Meryle Edna Carlton
The memorial service for Meryle Edna Carlton will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Trail Community Church. Pastor Ron Welch will officiate. Private interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford.
Mrs. Carlton, 99, of Eagle Point, died Sunday (Sept. 6, 1998) in Eagle Point.

She was born Oct. 29, 1898, in Brownsboro, a daughter of John A. and Elva V. Baldwin Miller.
On May 1, 1921, in Medford, she married Herbert Lee Carlton, who died in 1964.
Mrs. Carlton was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ashland, Trail Community Church and the Upper Rogue Grange Association in Prospect.
Survivors include a son, John H. "Jack," Trail; two daughters, Elva Lund, Trail, and Selda L. Netherland, Prospect; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A grandson died in 1993.

Tyler Thomas Carlton
The funeral for Tyler Thomas Carlton will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Cornerstone Christian Church, 608 N. Bartlett, Medford. Pastor Mike Mayben will officiate. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Tyler, 17, of Medford, died Monday (Sept. 7, 1998) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 22, 1981, in Medford.
Tyler was entering his senior year at South Medford High School, where he played varsity football as a junior and was chosen to be captain of the 1998-99 track team.
He was active in 4-H and enjoyed hunting, motorcycle and dirt bike riding, camping and water-skiing.
Survivors include his parents, Mark and Beverly Carlton, Medford; a brother, Mark C., Medford; a sister, Mallory E. Carlton, Medford; grandparents, Thomas A. and Norma Carlton, Medford, and Eileen B. Olsen, Jacksonville; and his girlfriend, Stacey Lambert, Medford.
