Timothy Neil Finn
Timothy Neil Finn, 51, of Ashland died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001 in Ashland. Private services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Finn was born July 6, 1950 in Morgantown, W.V., to Donnely and Mary (Shackelford) Finn. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1970. On Aug.2, 1977 in San Jose, Calif., he married the former Susan Vickroy, who survives. Moving here from San Jose, Calif., he lived in the Rogue Valley for about the last five years.
Mr. Finn worked as a carpenter and played semi-pro baseball. He loved to fish.
Survivors include his wife Susan of Ashland; two sons, Sean and Eric of Ashland; two brothers, Michael D'Aguirre in California, and Pat Finn of Florida; a sister, Liz, of St. Paul, Minn.; and his mother Mary Ann Finn of Groveland, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father.
Arrangements are in care of Conger-Morris Funeral Directors in Medford.
Fred Aubrey Kent
Fred Aubrey Kent, 44, of Medford died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001 in Medford. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2001 at Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home in Ashland. Pastor Steve Bright of Ashland Christian Fellowship will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Scenic Hills Memorial Park in Ashland.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson County Humane Society, 2910 Table Rock Rd., Medford, Ore. 97501.
Mr. Kent was born Aug. 30, 1957 in Medford to James C. and Lotte (Gossman) Kent. He was a 1976 graduate of Medford High School and attended Rogue Community College in Grants Pass for two years.
He enjoyed animals, music, golfing (he recorded a hole-in-one on hole 13 at Bear Creek Golf Course), and was an outdoorsman.
Survivors include his mother, Lotte Coggins of Sheridan.; his son Lonny Flora of Corvallis; two brothers, James Henry Kent of Sheridan, and Dave Kent of Sherwood; and his sister Elaine Stitt of Medford. He was preceded in death by his father, James C. Kent, in 1987.
Arrangements are in care of Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home and Crematory in Ashland.
Herbert D. Good
Herbert D. Good, 89, of Ashland died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001 at Linda Vista Care Center in Ashland. Arrangements are in care of Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home and Crematory in Ashland.
Bernice Karau
A memorial service was held for Ashland resident Bernice Karau on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001 at the First Presbyterian Church of Ashland.
Mrs. Karau died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001.
She was born in Germantown, Neb., and attended the University of Nebraska. She married Theodore Karau in 1939 in Los Angeles, Calif. and was a homemaker. Mrs. Karau was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ashland.
She is survived by her son Robert Karau of Salem; daughter Katherine Karau of Yuba City, Calif.; brother Carl Voss of Scotts Bluff, Neb.; sister, Regina Hansen of Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Michel Marie Dubé
Memorial services for Michel Marie Dubé are scheduled for 3 p.m. today at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Ashland. The Rev. Anne K. Bartlett will officiate.
Ms. Dubé, of Jacksonville, died Thursday at Providence Medford Medical Center. She was 55.
Ms. Dubé was born Aug. 4 1946 in Covina, Calif. She graduated from Phoenix High School in 1964 and four years later from Oregon State University with a bachelor of science degree in clothing and textiles. She received her master's degree in child development at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill. in 1973.
She served as a social service specialist with the Oregon Department of Human Resources, services to children and families in Medford. She enjoyed church, community involvement, travel and playing the piano.
She is survived by her fiancé Jorn Muller of Fortuna, Calif., her daughter Martha Beebe of Portland, her parents John P. and Martha Dubé of Medford, three brothers and three sisters.
Memorial contributions can be sent to the Jacksonville Library, 170 S. Oregon St., Jacksonville, Ore., 97530. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memory Gardens Mortuary in Medford.
Mary C. Harshman
No local services are planned for Mary C. Harshman of Ashland, who died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001 at her home. She was 60.
A memorial service will be held in San Jose, Calif., family members said. In lieu of flowers, family members request donations be sent to Oprah's Angel Network, P.O. Box 96600, Chicago, Ill. 60693.
Ms. Harshman was born Dec. 17, 1941 in Seattle.
She worked as a development assistant for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son Miguel and daughters Kimary, Kerrill, Krista and Corrina, all of California; her brothers Jerry, Patrick, Larry and Tom, and sisters Cecilia, Elizabeth and Rose, all of Washington; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Dorothy M. Running
Memorial services for Dorothy M. Running will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2001 at the Ashland Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Running, 90, of Ashland, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001 at her residence.
She was born July 22, 1911 in Woodburn to John and Lena Peterson. On July 6, 1939 at Portland, she married Andrew M. Running, who survives. She attended Walla Walla College, College Place, Wash., and Monmouth College, Monmouth.
She was a schoolteacher and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, music, singing and walking. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew M. Running of Ashland; son Thomas E. Running of Hayward, Calif.; daughter Carol Down Milazzo, Hilo, Hawaii; sister Annetta Mae Joers, Reedsport; one grandchild and four great-grand children.
