Edward E. Schram
Edward Eugene Schram, 76, of Central Point, died Wednesday (Nov. 11, 1998) at Providence Medford Medical Center. No service is planned. Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, Calif.

He was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Lansing, Mich.
On Aug. 3, 1950, in Angola, Ind., he married Betty Lou Comeau, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley from Gardena, Calif., in 1994.
Mr. Schram was a punch press operator for Honeywell in Gardena, Calif.
He was a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church in Central Point.
Mr. Schram enjoyed fishing and boating.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Mark, Montague, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Thomas E. Craddick
The memorial service for Thomas E. Craddick will be at 1 p.m. today in the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Craddick, 77, of Medford, died Oct. 28, 1998, in a foster home.

Mabel J. Wise
The memorial service for Mabel J. Wise will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Foots Creek Chapel near Rogue River. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in the Logtown Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Wise, 93, of Gold Hill, died Saturday (Nov. 7, 1998) at her home.

She was born Mabel Goodwin on Nov. 24, 1904, in a small cabin in Badger Mountain, Wash.
On Jan. 10, 1923, in Ritzville, Wash., she married Leo Stephens, who died in 1948.
Later she married Charles E. Wise, who died in 1987.
For many years, Mrs. Wise served in the ministry of the Union Gospel Mission of Portland. She was a member of Ruch Community Bible Church and Foots Creek Chapel.
She enjoyed church activities and her pets.
Survivors include two sons, Lester Stephens, Gold Hill, and Calvin Stephens, Shingletown, Calif.; a sister, Lillian Gordon, Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Fry; and a brother, Elijah Goodwin.

Joseph Daniel Ramirez
Joseph Daniel Ramirez, 49, formerly of Medford, died Monday (Nov. 9, 1998) in La Pine, where he was living. No service is planned.
He was born Sept. 10, 1949, in Richmond, Calif.
Mr. Ramirez lived in Medford for 21 years before moving to La Pine six months ago.
He was a security guard in Medford.
During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Ramirez was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Moose Lodge, both in Medford.
He was a drummer in a country-western band and enjoyed fishing and watching "Star Trek" and San Francisco 49ers football games.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Ramirez, whom he married May 6, 1995, in Medford; four daughters, Jamie A. Morrison, Medford, Alisha M. Morrison, Keizer, Sandra Starks, Gazelle, Calif., and Angelina Ramirez; a son, Jason Starks, Gazelle; his father, Luis Ramirez, in California; and a brother, Louie Jr., Medford.

Peter Hettinga
Peter Hettinga, 86, of Medford, died Saturday (Nov. 6, 1998) at Hearthstone. A private service is planned.

He was born July 21, 1912, in El Paso, Texas.
On Dec. 11, 1943, in Kidderminster, England, he married Constance "Connie" Baker, who survives.
Mr. Hettinga served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He owned a produce market and was a millworker for most of his life.
Mr. Hettinga was an active member of the Eagles Lodge during the many years he lived in the Salem area. He enjoyed gardening and flowers and was an avid sports fan.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, John, Phoenix, Roy, St. Helens, and Jim, Chino, Calif.; a daughter, Susan Hamm, Tacoma, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Harvey James Huske
The memorial service for Harvey James Huske will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Jerome Prairie Bible Church, 2564 Walnut, Grants Pass. Pastor James Downing will officiate.
Mr. Huske, 58, of Wilderville, died Monday (Nov. 9, 1998) at his home.

He was born March 31, 1940, in Harvey, Ill.
On Feb. 27, 1965, in Evergreen Park, Ill., he married Lynn Heinen, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1989 from Illinois.
Mr. Huske served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964.
He was a member of the Sawdusters Club and Pinochle Club, both in Grants Pass, and enjoyed relic baseball, fishing and horseshoes.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Kimberly Johnson, Karen Huske and Kelly Jarred, all Grants Pass; a son, Kory, Medford; two brothers, Harold, in Wisconsin, and Howard, in Michigan; a sister, Heather Tirpe, in Wisconsin; and eight grandchildren.

`Chris' Christopher
The memorial service for Lloyd "Chris" Christopher will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Siskiyou Chapel, Medford. Paul Mather of the Jehovah's Witnesses Crater Lake Congregation will officiate.
Mr. Christopher, 82, of Medford, died Sunday (Nov. 8, 1998) at his home.

He was born Dec. 7, 1915, in Pleasant View, N.D.
Mr. Christopher was an auto mechanic and co-owner of L.A.D. Auto.
He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1966 from North Dakota.
Mr. Christopher enjoyed restoring antique cars, woodworking and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Gwen I. Fox Christopher, Medford; two daughters, Eva Forette, Medford, and Teresa Lewis, Fresno, Calif.; two brothers, Emmons, Grand Forks, N.D. and Wallace, Hillsboro, N.D.; a sister, Lil Ege, Fargo, N.D.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Arnold, Norman and Wendell.

A.C. Raymond Perry
A.C. Raymond Perry, 82, of Eagle Point, died Sunday (Nov. 8, 1998) at Providence Medford Medical Center. A private funeral was held followed by interment in the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
He was born May 12, 1916, in Haiti, Mo.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Perry was a local hitchhiker well known for his trips between Eagle Point and White City.
He enjoyed playing the guitar.
Survivors include two sons, Everett, Medford, and Harold, Corpus Christi, Texas; four daughters, Betty Jo Nordman, Fort Worth, Texas, Lori Perry, Watsonville, Calif., Betsey Morgan, Albuquerque, N.M., and Glenice Loux, Pacific, Wash.; a sister, Ruby Burdine, Flint, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

Edna M. Toney
The funeral Mass for Edna M. Toney will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church, Ashland. The Rev. Anthony Rosevear will officiate. Entombment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home, Ashland. The Rev. Raymond Finerty will officiate.
Mrs. Toney, 75, of Phoenix, died Sunday (Nov. 8, 1998) at her home.

She was born Edna Darst on April 13, 1923, in Lake City, Calif. She graduated from Surprise Valley Union High School in Cedarville, Calif., in 1941.
On May 27, 1941, she married Bill Toney, who survives. They lived in Lakeview from 1945 until moving to Ashland in 1955.
Mrs. Toney was a nurse for 26 years at Sacred Heart Hospital and Providence Hospital, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church, serving in many ministries over the years. She also enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include eight sons, David, Ashland, Harry, Dayton, Pat, McMinnville, Mike, Springfield, Ronnie, Sweet Home, Jeff, Canby, Tom, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Larry, Anchor Point, Alaska; five daughters, Cynthia Ramp, Medford, Julie Brazil, La Pine, Mary Viglione, Denver, Colo., Julienne Dow, Las Vegas, Nev., and Louise Merideth, Little River, S.C.; a sister, Gertrude Golden, Alturas, Calif.; 36 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. A son, Rick, died in 1987.
