Lucille Mary Hall
Lucille Mary Hall, 76, of Medford, died Saturday (Nov. 28, 1998) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. A private service is planned.
She was born Lucille Mary Spahn on July 30, 1922, in Spirit Lake, Idaho.
On Sept. 17, 1950, in Prineville, she married Jasper Hall, who died in 1989. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1958 from Winston.
Mrs. Hall was a cook for the Prospect School District.
She enjoyed football.
Survivors include two sons, Irvin, Central Point, and David, Chicago, Ill.; a daughter, Connie Lycett, Yreka, Calif.; a sister, Florence Mayhew, Phoenix; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Three sisters preceded her in death.

Francis `Frank' Mix
Francis "Frank" Wayne Mix, 65, of Medford, died Wednesday (Nov. 25, 1998) at his home. No service is planned.
He was born Oct. 18, 1933, in Inglewood, Calif.
He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1973 from Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Mr. Mix owned and operated Frank Mix Electric in Medford.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Mix, Medford; a son, Bradley J., Tacoma, Wash.; two daughters, Rachel Todd, Culver City, Calif., and Cynthia Klinger, Tacoma; a brother, Claude, Gold Hill; and four grandchildren.

John Franklin Harmon
The memorial service for John Franklin Harmon will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Applegate Community Church. Pastor Kurt Krowel will officiate.
Mr. Harmon, 71, of Grants Pass, died Monday (Nov. 30, 1998) at his home.

He was born Oct. 20, 1927, in Norcatur, Kan., and moved to Grants Pass in 1940 from Kansas.
Mr. Harmon served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946.
On March 11, 1950, in Grants Pass, he married Milly M. Donaldson, who survives.
Mr. Harmon was a dairy farmer for 52 years and owned and operated Harmon & Son Dairy.
He attended Applegate Community Church, was a past captain of Josephine County Mounted Sheriffs Posse, and was active in the dairy communities of Josephine and Jackson counties. He loved his horses.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Dennis, Grants Pass; three daughters, Debbie Klumph, Tillamook, Donna Sackville, Bellevue, Wash., and Diane Mires, Walla Walla, Wash.; three sisters, Carole Hobson and Joyce Teal, both Grants Pass, and Kathryn Beck, Eagle, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

June Opal Atchley
The memorial service for June Opal Atchley will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Hillcrest Chapel, Medford. Inurnment will be in Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland.
Mrs. Atchley, 93, of Medford, died Monday (Nov. 30, 1998) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
She was born June Opal Thompson on June 30, 1905, in Ray, N.D.
In San Francisco, she married John Atchley, who died in 1979.
Mrs. Atchley moved to the Rogue Valley in 1960 from Seattle.
As a young woman she ran a chicken farm for nine years, selling chicken meat to retail stores.
Mrs. Atchley enjoyed dredging and panning for gold.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Gascon, Gold Hill, Nancy David, Phoenix, and Mary "Betty" Proudfoot, Casper, Wyo.; two sons, John Jr., Lebanon, and Alvin, Kent, Wash.; 19 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Betty Gene Franklin
Betty Gene Franklin, 73, of Medford, died Nov. 20, 1998, at her home. No service is planned.

She was born Betty Catching on April 3, 1925, in Gervais.
On July 4, 1950, in Las Cruces, N.M., she married Eugene "Tex" Franklin, who died in 1995. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1952 from Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Franklin was a supervisor with Harry & David Corp. for 28 years, retiring in 1997.
She collected elephants, spoons and chimes and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and crafts.
Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia "Cyndi" Knight, Central Point; a son, Dennis Lundgren, Spanaway, Wash.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Lundgren in 1943.

Roletta Eilene Bost
The graveside service for Roletta Eilene Bost will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Central Point Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Bost, 79, of White City, died Sunday (Nov. 29, 1998) at the Medford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.
She was born Roletta Cameron on May 12, 1919, in Baker, Mont.
On Sept. 7, 1939, in Vancouver, Wash., she married Herman E. Bost, who died in 1988. They moved to the Rogue Valley 55 years ago from Florence.
Mrs. Bost enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing.
Survivors include four sons, Dennis and David, both Medford, Ron, Central Point, and Glen, Portland; a daughter, Shirley Bickers, Denver, Colo.; her twin sister, Roberta Morava, Central Point; another sister, Florence Kropp, Rogue River; three brothers, Bob Cameron, Central Point, Donald Cameron, Talent, and Denzel Cameron, Mojave, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A brother, Bill Cameron, preceded her in death.

Clarence Campbell
Clarence "Clyde" Campbell, 76, of Medford, died Friday (Nov. 27, 1998) at his home. Private services were held.
He was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Salem to Dana and Myrtle Campbell.
On Feb. 21, 1942, in Reno, Nev., he married Yvonne Roberts, who survives.
Mr. Campbell served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was the parts manager for the local Volkswagen dealership.
Mr. Campbell was a member of Ashland Elks Lodge No. 944 for 48 years.
He was an aviation history buff and model plane builder and enjoyed anything that had to do with flying. He also enjoyed camping and fishing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Dan, Portland, and Ron, Pleasant Hill, Calif.; three granddaughters; and two grandsons.

John Ward
The graveside service for John Ward will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford.
Mr. Ward, 68, of Trail, died Sunday (Nov. 29, 1998) at his home.

He was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Sparta, Ill. He moved to the Rogue Valley 20 years ago from San Diego, Calif.
Mr. Ward was an auto mechanic. He retired from Bear Creek Corp. in May after 19 years.
Survivors include his companion, Katie Moore, Trail; a son, David, Salem; three daughters, Patricia McKay, San Diego, Calif., Lynn Sink, Cartersville, Ga., and Theresa Newman, Williamsport, Pa.; two sisters; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
