Pat T. Lee
The memorial service for Pat T. Lee will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Rogue Valley Christian Church, Medford. Pastor Jim Larsen will officiate.
Mrs. Lee, 83, of Medford, died Monday (April 5, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

Fern Beatrice Clark
The funeral for Fern Beatrice Clark will be at noon Friday at Memory Gardens Mortuary in Medford. The Rev. Dwayne L. Brown of First Presbyterian Church in Central Point will officiate. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mrs. Clark, 91, of Gresham, formerly of Central Point, died Tuesday (April 6, 1999) at Fairlawn Health Center in Gresham.

She was born Fern Denby on Jan. 18, 1908, in Tyndall, S.D.
On Dec. 28, 1926, in Iowa, she married Clarence H. Clark, who died Nov. 23, 1979. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Iowa in 1953 and lived in Ashland and Central Point until 1985, when she returned to Ames, Iowa. In 1997, she moved to Gresham.
Mrs. Clark was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Central Point.
Mrs. Clark enjoyed gardening, embroidery, crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include a son, Maurice L., Ames, Iowa; a daughter, Sherrill A. Behn, Gresham; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Ernest, in 1931, and a granddaughter, Linda S. Behn Hawkins, on Nov. 23, 1997.

Sally Ann Haney
The memorial service for Sally Ann Haney will be at 11 a.m. today in Siskiyou Chapel, 2100 Siskiyou Blvd., Medford.
The graveside service will follow at Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Road, Eagle Point. Pastor Paul Hagedorn of Providence Chaplain Services will officiate.
Mrs. Haney, 64, of Medford, died Tuesday (April 6, 1999) at her home.
She was born Sally Bissonnette on June 18, 1934, in Los Angeles.
On March 17, 1951, in Rosemead, Calif., she married Salem H. Haney, who survives. She moved to Grants Pass in 1972, and to Medford from Grants Pass in 1995.
Mrs. Haney worked for the Grants Pass School District for 18 years, retiring in 1997.
She enjoyed traveling and recently visited all 50 states.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, Paul S., Medford, Steve L., Ashland, and Matthew M., Portland; two daughters, Carrie R. Meskimen, Medford, and Bonnie F. Foster, Salem; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Siskiyou Chapel.

Jessie Lavell Williams
The funeral for Jessie Lavell Williams will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shady Cove Assembly of God. The Revs. Jack Bacon and Larry Gatlin will officiate.
Mr. Williams, 76, of Eagle Point, died Saturday (April 3, 1999) at his home.

He was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Lamesa, Texas.
On Oct. 6, 1945, in Tahoka, Texas, he married Barbara J. Young, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley from Tahoka in 1950.
Mr. Williams was a millworker for White City Products. He retired in 1987.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Williams was a member of Shady Cove Assembly of God.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Sheri Barnes, Eagle Point; a son, Thomas A., Fairbanks, Alaska; two brothers, R.A. of Tahoka, Texas, and Tucker, Whitney, Texas; two sisters, Gladys Ivy and Mable Sprulle, both of Tahoka, Texas; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie, in 1976; five brothers, and three sisters.

Frank O. Cordeiro Jr.
The funeral for Frank O. Cordeiro Jr. will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Shady Cove. The Rev. William McHugh will officiate. Interment will be in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Cordeiro, 73, of Trail, died Monday (April 5, 1999) at his home.

He was born Jan. 18, 1926, in Honokaa, Hawaii.
On Aug. 9, 1958, in New York City, he married Lucille Kekipikamakahukilani, who survives. In 1964, after retiring from the U.S. Army, he moved from Japan to the Rogue Valley.
Mr. Cordeiro was a master sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving as a photographer for 20 years. Photos he shot during the attack on Pearl Harbor, including the signing of the Japanese surrender aboard the USS Missouri, are on display at the Smithsonian Institution.
He also was General MacArthur's photographer.
He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Mr. Cordeiro was a founder and charter member of the Hawaii Hui club of Southern Oregon.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include five daughters, Bernadette Heryford, Medford, Francine Settell, Central Point, Landa Cox, Portland, Mary Pingle, Troutdale, and Sandy Devitt, Leucadia, Calif.; three sons, Jerome, Phoenix, Gary, Bethel Island, Calif., and Wayne, Honolulu; a sister, Marion Brink, Makaha, Hawaii; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sonia Cordeiro; and a brother.

Genice Marie Ellis
The memorial service for Genice Marie Ellis was held Wednesday at Central Valley Chapel. Daniel Vigil of Eagle Point officiated.
Mrs. Ellis, 67, of Eagle Point, died Sunday (April 4, 1999) at her home.
She was born Genice King on Oct. 16, 1931, in Garrison, N.D. She moved to the Rogue Valley 12 years ago from Coos Bay.
Mrs. Ellis was a dietician at the Coos Bay Veterans Affairs Clinic for eight years and at the Myrtle Point Rehabilitation Center for seven years.
She enjoyed outdoor activities, singing in the church choir and classic cars.
Survivors include a son, Robert, Coos Bay; three daughters, Yolonda Ellis, Eagle Point, and Linette Ellis and Geniece Burt, both of Portland; a sister, Leona Brimblecom, Hermiston; three brothers, Kenneth King, Kennewick, Wash., Clifford King, Seattle, and Robert King, Apple Valley, Calif.; and 16 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Geneva Huffman; a son, William Engblom; a grandson, Abraham Vigil, and three brothers, Frances, Vernon and Stanley King.

Bertha Alice Loder
The memorial service for Bertha Alice Loder will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Talent United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Loder, 81, of Phoenix, died Oct. 15, 1998, in Phoenix.

Genice Marie Ellis

Mrs. Ellis, 67, of Eagle Point, died Sunday (April 4, 1999) at her home.

Betty Mae Herman
Friends and relatives will gather for a celebration of the life of Betty Mae Herman at noon on July 9 at the Elks picnic grounds in White City.
Mrs. Herman 64, of Medford, died Saturday (April 3, 1999) at her home.

She was born Betty Walden on Dec. 14, 1934, in Klamath Falls, a daughter of Loren and Elsie Walden.
On Oct. 9, 1954, in Medford, she married Willis G. Herman, who survives. She lived in the Rogue Valley for 52 years.
Mrs. Herman was office manager at Medford Clinic and at Medford Radiological Group until her retirement in 1987.
She enjoyed traveling and camping, cooking and sewing, gardening and crafts.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Brenda Nelson, Eugene, and Becki Gieber, Lahaina, Hawaii; a brother, James Walden, Phoenix; a sister, Evelyn Leighton, Medford; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Bickers.
