Wilson Lawless
The graveside service for Wilson Lawless will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Siskiyou Memorial Park. The Rev. John Braund of Phoenix First Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Mr. Lawless, 89, of Central Point, died Sunday (June 27, 1999) at his home.
He was born May 27, 1910, in Jackson, Mich.
On June 22, 1932, in Santa Ana, Calif., he married Jewell Bell Weedman Husak, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1996 from Whittier, Calif.
Mr. Lawless worked in the office of Brunswick Drug in Los Angeles and Vernon, Calif.
He enjoyed gardening, stamp collecting and working outdoors.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Robert, Central Point; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from noon to 5 p.m. today at Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park.
Anna C. Carstensen
Anna Cecelia Carstensen, 101 of Medford, died Sunday (June 27, 1999) at Three Fountains Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A private service is planned.
She was born Anna Petersen on Jan. 10, 1898, in Carroll, Neb. She received a nursing diploma from New Samaritan Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa in 1920.
On Nov. 12, 1923, in Klamath Falls, she married John Carstensen, who died in 1972. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1971 from Yreka, Calif.
Mrs. Carstensen was a nurse in Klamath Falls from 1922 to 1951. She served as a flight nurse in the transportation of patients from the Klamath Falls area to San Francisco and Portland from the mid-1920s until after World War II.
She enjoyed reading, history, world events and professional baseball.
Survivors include three sons, Robert J. and Boyd, both Medford, and John P., Livermore, Calif.; a daughter, Ann Anderson, Penn Valley, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters, and two great-grandchildren.

Jessie Lorraine Rojas
The graveside service for Jessie Lorraine Rojas will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Siskiyou Memorial Park in Medford.
Mrs. Rojas, 80, of Brookings, formerly of Medford, died Saturday (June 26, 1999) in Brookings.
She was born Jessie Lorraine Connor on March 31, 1919, in Freedom, Neb. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1941 and to Brookings in 1994.
Mrs. Rojas worked in the restaurant business in the Rogue Valley and Brookings. She retired in Brookings in 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Theodore "Ted" Walter Hawkinson, Harbor, and Robert Romero Rojas, San Diego; a daughter, Lydia Ann Crump, Harbor; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Hawkinson; her second husband, Benjamin Rojas; and a son, Jerry "Joe" Hawkinson.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Conger-Morris Funeral Directors in Medford.
Wilda Hatch
The graveside service for Wilda Hatch will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Woodville Cemetery in Rogue River. Chaplain Paul Hagedorn will officiate.
Mrs. Hatch, 77, of Rogue River, died Monday (June 28, 1999) at her home.

She was born Wilda Mayfield on Sept. 9, 1921, in Eagle Point, a daughter of Joseph and Ruby Mayfield.
On March 8, 1944, in Honolulu, she married Gordon `Gordy' L. Hatch, who died June 8, 1999. She moved to Rogue River in 1945.
Mrs. Hatch was a Shaklee Distributor for 30 years. Before her marriage she was a bookkeeper for Southern Oregon Sugar Pine in Central Point.
She was a member of the Oregon State Grange.
Mrs. Hatch enjoyed the outdoors.
Survivors include two sons, Roger, Grants Pass, and Russell, Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Janell Weide, Eagle Point, and Irene Shepard, Grants Pass; three brothers, Raymond Mayfield, Central Point, Joe Mayfield, Bend, and Dick Mayfield, Redmond; two sisters, Marjorie Florey, Central Point, and Roberta Harrison, Swan Lake, Mont.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Mayfield.

David Albert Roundy
David Albert Roundy, 44, of Santa Rosa, Calif., formerly of Medford, died June 19, 1999, in Cloverdale, Calif. A private service was held.

He was born Aug. 10, 1954, in Santa Rosa. He lived in the Rogue Valley from 1978 to 1999. He graduated from San Jose Christian College.
In October 1976, in Santa Rosa, he married Vickie Hatcher, who survives.
Mr. Roundy was a longtime river guide on Southern Oregon rivers, as well as in Alaska.
He was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers and played in several symphonies, including the Rogue Valley Symphony. He also belonged to the Rogue River Guides Association.
He was a member of Trail Christian Fellowship.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his parents, Irving and Lois Roundy, Santa Rosa, Calif.

Curtis Warren Crawford
The memorial service for Curtis Warren Crawford will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Eagle Point National Cemetery. Pastor Paul Hagedorn of Providence Hospice will officiate.
Mr. Crawford, 69, of Sams Valley, died Monday (June 28, 1999) at his home.

He was born May 8, 1930, in Amarillo, Texas. He moved to the Rogue Valley six years ago from El Dorado, Calif.
Mr. Crawford worked for AeroJet in Sacramento, Calif., for 39 years, retiring in 1962.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Crawford enjoyed mechanics and building cars.
Survivors include three sons, John, Marysville, Calif., Allen, Placerville, Calif., and Douglas; a daughter, Laura Wells, in New Jersey; a brother, Carl, Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Melba Montgomery, Shady Cove; and four grandchildren. A son, Steven, died in 1997.

Nancy Sara Jacks
Nancy Sara Jacks, 59, of Vancouver, Wash., formerly of Medford, died June 9, 1999, in Portland. A service has been held.

She was born Nancy Sara Stevenson on June 10, 1939, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Iowa in 1947.
On April 20, 1963, in Medford, she married Kenneth R. Jacks, who died in 1986.
Mrs. Jacks was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Portland and was active as a layperson in the Third Carmelite Order.
She enjoyed hiking, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include six daughters, Anne Jacks and Pamela Jacks, both Portland, Mary T. Jacks, Catherine Jacks, and Margaret Jacks, all Vancouver, Wash., and Elizabeth Olson, Virginia Beach, Va.; two sons, Kenneth W. Jacks, Portland, and John P. Jacks, Vancouver; and three grandchildren.

Cynthia Leigh Agee
Cynthia Leigh Agee, 40, of Medford, died Friday (June 25, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. A private service will be held.

She was born Dec. 19, 1958, in San Pablo, Calif. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1971 from California.
Ms. Agee worked as a flagger in road construction.
She enjoyed oil painting and outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing and hiking.
Survivors include her parents, Les and Jo Ann Lawrence, Medford; a brother, Robert Morton, Powell, Ohio; and a sister, Susan Kennedy, Rogue River.
