Eileen Wagler
The memorial service for Eileen Wagler will be at 6 p.m. Sunday in Community Bible Church in Central Point. Pastor Pete Slusher will officiate.
Ms. Wagler, 42, of Trail, died Sunday (Aug. 22, 1999) at home.

She was born May 22, 1957, in Medford, a daughter of Clarence and Myrna Wagler.
Ms. Wagler was a licensed practical nurse.
She enjoyed training horses and mules, raising exotic birds and gardening. She won numerous awards for horseback riding.
Survivors include her companion, Don LeBlanc, Trail; her mother, Myrna Wagler, Central Point; and a sister, Tobi Andrews, Selma. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Wagler, who died in 1981.

Stella Mae Bradford
The graveside service for Stella Mae Bradford will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Siskiyou Memorial Park in Medford. The Rev. John Braund of First Presbyterian Church in Phoenix will officiate.
Mrs. Bradford, 88, of Medford, died Sunday (Aug. 22, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
She was born Stella Mae Plunk on May 15, 1911, in Roy, Ark. She moved to the Rogue Valley 20 years ago from Murfreesboro, Ark.
Mrs. Bradford was a waitress.
Survivors include two daughters, Willie Strawn, Medford, and Jackie Cornish, Murfreesboro, Ark.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives, 550 Business Park Drive, Medford.
Verna M. Wels
The memorial service for Verna M. Wels will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park. The Rev. Stan Johnson of West Main Church of Christ will officiate.
Mrs. Wels, 46, of Medford, died Saturday (Aug. 21, 1999) at her home.

She was born Verna Igo on Sept. 27, 1952, in Medford. She graduated from Medford High School, and lived in the Rogue Valley all her life.
On June 12, 1970, in Medford, she married Lee Wels, who survives.
Mrs. Wels was a seasonal fruit packer for Southern Oregon Sales for many years.
She enjoyed bicycling, hiking, sewing and gardening.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Todd Wels, Crescent City, Calif.; a daughter, Kerry Wels, Eugene; her mother, Olinda Igo, Medford; and a sister, Gloria Stevens, Hillsboro. Her father, Earl Igo, died in 1985.
Friends may pay their respects from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday at Perl Funeral Home in Siskiyou Memorial Park.
Audra Lucille Kropf
Audra Lucille Kropf, 75, of Medford, died Sunday (Aug. 22, 1999) in Medford. No service is planned. Entombment will be in Belle Passi Cemetery in Woodburn.
She was born Audra Lucille Gregory on Dec. 28, 1923, in Bandon, a daughter of Julian and Goldie Gregory. She was raised in the Bandon-Coquille area. Her family moved to Salem in 1939. She graduated from Salem High School and Beauty School.
In 1942, she married Geno Marson. They later divorced.
On Sept. 1, 1963, in Reno, Nev., she married Milo E. Kropf, who died in 1986. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Hubbard two years ago.
Mrs. Kropf owned and operated a beauty salon in Molalla for 32 years.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, camping and fishing.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Just, Medford; and a brother, Gene Gregory, Reno, Nev. She was preceded in death by a brother, J.D. Gregory.

Maudie Elain Wilson
The memorial service for Maudie Elain Wilson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Cantrall Buckley Park, Section A.
Mrs. Wilson, 50, of Winterhaven, Calif., formerly of Medford, died Aug. 8, 1999, in Riverside Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, Calif., of lung cancer.
She was born Maudie Burks on May 20, 1949, in Lawton, Okla. She lived in Medford from 1972 to 1997.
Mrs. Wilson worked at Harry & David for 13 years.
Survivors include two sons, Russell Stucker and Ronnie Stucker; her mother; five sisters; three brothers; and four grandchildren.

James H. `Jim' Ganzer
James Harry Ganzer, 76, of Medford, died Friday (Aug. 20, 1999) at Medford Rehabilitation & Health Care. A private memorial service will be held.

He was born April 21, 1923, in Blue Island, Ill., a son of Harry and Linda Ganzer.
Mr. Ganzer was employed by the Pullman Company in Chicago, prior to serving in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II.
He graduated from the Chicago Conservatory and sang opera professionally in the Chicago area for many years. He performed with Lauritz Melchoir and was a member of the Svithoid Swedish Singing Club.
After relocating to Pacific Palisades, Calif., in 1959, Mr. Ganzer worked as a film producer for several educational film companies including CBS, Disney, Coronet, FilmFair Communications and his own company, Fiesta Films. He produced two short subject films
which were nominated for Academy Awards. He was instrumental in importing Paddington Bear to the United States. He retired in 1988.
On Jan. 2, 1988, in Pacific Palisades, Calif., he married Carol Chrisman, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley from Scottsdale, Ariz. in 1997.
Mr. Ganzer was a member of the Riveria Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif. for 25 years, and Desert Horizons Country Club in Indian Wells, Calif.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Mr. Ganzer was a avid golfer, and won several club championships. He enjoyed swimming, tennis and tap dancing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, James Alan Ganzer, Malibu, Calif.; two stepsons, B. Eric Bell, Medford, and Sean Lee Bell, Bend; two brothers, Ralph, Barrington, Ill., and Floyd, Scottdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Patrick.

Winifred L. Bailey
Winifred L. Bailey, 79, of Grants Pass, died Friday (Aug. 20, 1999) at Three Rivers Community Hospital, Dimmick. No service is planned. Interment will be in Eagle Point National Cemetery.

She was born Winifred Mellon on Nov. 11, 1919 in Wausau, Wis. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1970.
Mrs. Bailey worked for General Motors Acceptance Corp. in California, retiring after 30 years.
She enjoyed gardening, reading and her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Bailey, in 1993.

Florence M. Frakes
Florence Margaret Frakes, 94, of Medford, died Friday (Aug. 20, 1999) at Rogue Valley Manor Health Center. No service is planned.
She was born Nov. 16, 1904, in Brookfield, Mo. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1981 from Walnut Creek, Calif.
Miss Frakes was a journalist. She worked for the Christian Sentry newspaper in Chicago.

Eddie J. Berntson
The graveside service for Eddie J. Berntson will be at 11 a.m. today in Jacksonville Cemetery. Family members will officiate.
Mr. Berntson, 78, of Rogue River, died Saturday (Aug. 21, 1999) at the home of his brother in Rogue River, of cancer.
He was born Oct. 24, 1920, in Felt, Idaho, a son of Hyrum and Lorraine (Dunbar) Berntson.
After attending Southern Oregon College in Ashland, Mr. Berntson studied pre-med at Logan, Utah, and medicine at the University of Oregon at Eugene. Due to disabling injuries, he was unable to continue his medical career.
Mr. Berntson never married. He lived in Rogue River for 30 years.
Survivors include a brother, Lynn Berntson, Rogue River; and two sisters, Eileen Patterson, Rogue River; and Hollis Buehling, Salem.
