William `Bill' K. Thomas
The graveside service for William "Bill" Kenneth Thomas will be at 10 a.m. today in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Thomas, 54, of Medford, died Saturday (Oct. 23, 1999) at his home.

James Doyal Coppedge (Kenneth D. Detillion)
The memorial service for James Doyal Coppedge (born Kenneth Doyal Detillion) will be today in Perry's Funeral Home in Detroit.
Mr. Coppedge, 53, of Detroit, formerly of Medford, died Friday (Oct. 22, 1999) in Detroit.
He was born Kenneth Doyal Detillion and was given the name James Doyal Coppedge when he was adopted.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Coppedge, Detroit; three daughters, Michelle Detillion Coppedge Omar, Catherine Roberts, and Patricia Roberts, all of Detroit; two sons, Joseph A. Roberts and Patrick Roberts, both of Detroit; and eight grandchildren.

Pauline E. Simoneau
Pauline Ernstine Peters Simoneau, 88, of Medford, died Thursday (Oct. 21, 1999) at Linda Vista Care Center in Ashland. Private interment will be in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 11, 1911, in Lede, Belgium, the daughter of Paul and Francoise Peters. A homemaker, she moved to the Rogue Valley in 1969.
On Nov. 28, 1948, in San Gabriel, Calif., she married Edmond R. Simoneau, who died Dec. 23, 1997.
Survivors include a son, Alain M. Simoneau, of Medford, and a daughter, Francois N. Simoneau, also of Medford.

Roland Paul Harper
Roland Paul Harper, 49, of Medford, died Sunday (Oct. 17, 1999) at Medford Rehabilitation Center. No service is planned.
Mr. Harper was born May 27, 1950, in Sacramento, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. A longtime custodian for the Veteran's Administration, he moved to the Rogue Valley many years ago.
Survivors include his mother, Beverly Harper, of Roseville, Calif.; a son, Roland D. Harper, of Santa Rosa, Calif.; three sisters, April F. Carlson, of Vallejo, Calif., and Ardis A. Harper and Ava L. Harper, both of Sacramento.

Marjorie Ann Davis
The funeral Mass for Marjorie Ann Davis will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church in Ashland. The Rev. Brendan McAnerney will officiate. A graveside service will follow at Bedfield Cemetery, 17301 S. Poe Valley Road, Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Davis, 84, of Ashland, died Thursday (Oct. 21, 1999) in Linda Vista Care Center, Ashland.
She was born Marjorie Ann Mitchell on April 21, 1915, in Olene. She was raised in Klamath Falls and lived there until 1936.
On Aug. 6, 1932, in Klamath Falls, she married Bert Davis, who died on May 20, 1999. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1979 from Sacramento, Calif.
Mrs. Davis was a pear packer.
She was active with the Camp Fire Girls and was past president of the Junior Civic League. She raised 20 foster children.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church in Ashland.
She enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include a son, Bert L., Ashland; three daughters, Linda Davis, Ashland, Bettie L. Clark, Tucson, Ariz., and Billie J. England, Sacramento, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were
two daughters, Norma Lee, in 1991; and Pauline McCluskey, in 1978; a brother, Robert Mitchell, in 1948; one grandchild, in 1960; and one great-great-grandson, in 1987.

Timothy A. Hofmann
The memorial service for Timothy Arnold Hofmann will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Applegate Community Church. The graveside service will follow at noon in Missouri Flat Cemetery. The family will also have a gathering at the church following the graveside service.
Mr. Hofmann, 51, of the Applegate area, died Wednesday (Oct. 20, 1999) at his home.
He was born May 2, 1948, in Ashland, a son of Arnold P. and Yvonne Mae Hofmann. He attended and graduated from New Hope Christian Church, which he and his family had helped build. He attended Prairie Bible School in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada for one year.
On July 13, 1968, in Murphy, he married Judith Mae Drake, who survives. He moved to Brookings in 1972.
Mr. Hofmann was a lathe operator for Brookings Plywood. He moved to Butte Falls in 1974, and to the Applegate area a few years later, where he owned and operated Hofmann Logging.
He was an active member of Murphy Chapel Church.
Mr. Hofmann enjoyed fishing, hunting and helping his friends.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Colleen M. Hansen and Joelleen A. Hofmann, both Grants Pass; his parents, Arnold P. and Yvonne Mae Hofmann; a sister, Connie McMahan, Talent; a brother, Larry, Tama, Iowa; and one grandchild.

Elva Viola Carlisle
Elva Viola Carlisle, 67, of Trail, died Thursday (Oct. 21, 1999) at her home. A service will be held later in California. Interment will be in Forest Lawn, Covina, Calif.
She was born Aug. 2, 1932, in Compton, Ark., a daughter of George William and Emmie Jean (Eoff) Blackston.
On Nov. 27, 1949, in Harrison, Ark., she married Harvey Lee Carlisle, who died in 1989. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1998.
Mrs. Carlisle was a homemaker.
She enjoyed socializing with her family and friends.
Survivors include three daughters, Fayrene Tjosaas, Wanda Tanksley, and Donna Duval, all Trail; four sons, Harvey Carlisle, Trail, Robert Carlisle, Cathedral City, Calif., Jimmy Carlisle, Hemet, Calif., and Richard Arteaga, Victorville, Calif.; five brothers, Bud Blackston, Cottonwood, Calif., Troy Blackston, Jimmy Dean Blackston, Tony Blackston, and Coy Blackston, all in Arkansas; a sister, Betty Blackston, in Arkansas; her mother, Emmie Jean Blackston, Elm Springs, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

Donald Edward Kegeler
Donald Edward Kegeler, 69, of Medford, died Thursday (Oct. 21, 1999) at his home. No service is planned.
He was born Sept. 7, 1930, in Plainwell, Mich.
On June 19, 1955, in Reno, Nev., he married Loretta Yaunger, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1970 from Portland.
Mr. Kegeler was the manager of B & D Auto Wreckers in Grants Pass for 20 years, retiring in 1992.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Mr. Kegeler enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors and rebuilding cars.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Richard, and Donald Jr., both Medford; three daughters, Nickki Hollander, Medford, Victoria Rubarth, Dallas, Texas, and Kyme Kegeler, Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Janet Dunham, Grants Pass, and JoAnn Osterhouse, De Land, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren.
