Felicidad P. Salanga
The funeral Mass for Felicidad P. Salanga will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. William Dillard will officiate.
Rosary will be recited at 8 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mrs. Salanga, 89, of Phoenix, died Wednesday (Nov. 17, 1999) at her home.
She was born Felicidad Pimentel on Jan. 13, 1910, in the Philippines.
In the Philippines, she married Ismael Salanga, who died in 1976. She moved to the Rogue Valley in June from Reseda, Calif.
Mrs. Salanga enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing.
Survivors include eight daughters, Evelyn Folsom and Leny Salanga, both Phoenix, and Tita Pastrama, Ellen Adams, Josie Aguirre, Precy Fajardo, Elvie Abeleda, and Norma Mejia, all in California; three sons, Arnie, Phoenix, and Gerry and Jimmy, both in California; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park.
Jack Butt
The memorial service for Jack Butt will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park in Medford. A second service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Veterans Affairs Domiciliary Chapel in White City. Interment will follow at 11 a.m.in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Butt, 76, of White City, died Sunday (Nov. 14, 1999) in the Veterans Affairs Domiciliary in White City.

He was born Oct. 2, 1923, in Decatur, Ill.
Mr. Butt served in the U.S. Marines during World War II.

Alma Lucille Anderson
The graveside service for Alma Lucille Anderson will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford. Pastor Ron McKay of Ruch Community Church will officiate.
Mrs. Anderson, 85, of Jacksonville, died Friday (Nov. 19, 1999) in Roseburg.
She was born Jan. 6, 1914, in Brantley, Ala., a daughter of William H. and Etta Mae (Whatley) Sedberry. She grew up and attended school in Georgia.
Mrs. Anderson, a resident of Jacksonville for 50 years, recently moved to Roseburg to live with her daughter.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Mrs. Anderson enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends and Friday night margaritas.
Survivors include her daughter, Carmen Travis-Rogers, Roseburg; her former husband, Russell H. Berriman, Central Point; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Anderson.

Howard Marvan Marrs
Howard Marvan Marrs, 79, of Medford, died Tuesday (Nov. 16, 1999) at his home. A service will be held at a later date.

He was born Oct. 27, 1920, in Denver. He moved to the Rogue Valley from Denver 34 years ago.
Mr. Marrs was a self-employed businessman in the Rogue Valley for many years. He also owned several automobile dealerships.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Cooper, McMinnville, and Linda Davis, Denver; two brothers, Ramon Rucker, Bailey, Colo., and Jerold Rucker, New Almaden, Calif.; two sisters, Leonora Sommers, Reedsport, and Clarice Shook, Westcliffe, Colo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements: Memory Gardens Mortuary.
Mabel C. Matney
The funeral for Mabel C. Matney will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Central Valley Chapel.
Mrs. Matney, 91, of Gold Hill, died Friday (Nov. 19, 1999) at a foster care home.

She was born Mabel Cupp on Sept. 15, 1908, in Moulton, Iowa. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1930.
On March 11, 1925, she married Lilbert Jasper Robinson. He preceded her in death.
On July 1, 1934, she married Merrit G. Davis. He preceded her in death.
On Nov. 22, 1958, in Medford, she married Lee Matney, who died in 1997.
Mrs. Matney was a homemaker.
She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, camping and fishing in her younger years.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include a son, Richard L. Davis, Central Point; a daughter, L. Josephine Bennett, Salem; a sister, Nora L. Williams, in California; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters, eight brothers, one granddaughter and one grandson.

Robert W. Nickelson Jr.
The graveside service for Robert William Nickelson Jr. will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Eugene.
Mr. Nickelson, 46, of Eugene, formerly of Medford, died Thursday (Nov. 18, 1999) in Eugene.

He was born Aug. 25, 1953, in Klamath Falls, a son of Robert William and Norma (Worthington) Nickelson.
On Dec. 17, 1972, in Eugene, he married Lori Pugh. They later divorced.
On Nov. 25, 1979, in Reno, Nev., he married Barbara Conklin. They later divorced.
Mr. Nickelson was a truck driver with Eugene Chemical Works for 22 years, and then a plant foreman there for three years.
He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, camping and working on cars and models.
Survivors include three daughters, Jodi Shannon, Springfield, and Mandi and Sonja Nickelson, both Eugene; a son, Billy, Harrisburg; his stepfather, Fred Case, Eugene; four brothers; two sisters; and seven grandchildren.

Edith Viola Lee
The funeral for Edith Viola Lee will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Myers Funeral Service in Porterville, Calif. The Rev. Jack Grimes of Porterville will officiate.
Mrs. Lee, 81, of Central Point, died Thursday (Nov. 18, 1999) at her home.
She was born June 30, 1918, near Westville, Okla., a daughter of Floyd and Gracie Cooksey.
On July 4, 1933, in Cameron, Okla., she married Quincy Velvie Lee, who died in 1986.
Mrs. Lee was a property manager in San Jose, Calif., until her retirement. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1990 from Porterville.
In Porterville, she was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God.
Survivors include two sons, Velton Quincy, Central Point, and Virgil Ray, Bakersfield, Calif.; three daughters, Elvia Veatrice Pearson, Velma Jean Thomason, and Shirley Vianne Schlosser, all Central Point; three brothers, Jessie and Charles Cooksey, both Porterville, Calif., and James Cooksey, Strathmore, Calif.; two sisters, Betty Waters, Gold Hill, and Patsy Roper, Porterville, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday at Myers Funeral Service, Porterville, Calif.
