Wilma `Bill' Stone
Wilma "Bill" Stone, 88, of Medford, died Tuesday (Nov. 9, 1999) at her home. No service is planned.

She was born Wilma Harris on Dec. 6, 1910, in Glendale. She grew up and attended schools near Delano, Calif.
On July 30, 1934, in Seattle, she married Carl W. Stone, who died in 1993. She returned to Delano in 1942, and moved to the Rogue Valley in 1953.
In the Rogue Valley, Mrs. Stone opened Chitwood & Stone TV Service and Sales which became Stone TV in 1961. She and her husband owned and operated the business until her retirement in 1975.
She did volunteer work at Villa Royal Nursing Home, now Medford Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Stone enjoyed fishing and volunteer work.
Survivors include two sons, Orlan, Medford, and Bayard, Oakhurst, Calif.; a daughter, Gail Ennis Stone, Artesia, Calif.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Grace Daisy Walker
Grace Daisy Walker, 95, of Medford, died Tuesday (Nov. 9, 1999) at her home. A service will be held later.
She was born Grace Martin on March 28, 1904, in Hoquiam, Wash. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1914.
In Anderson, Calif., she married Clark Walker, who died in 1979.
Mrs. Walker was a volunteer at the Veterans Affairs Domiciliary for more than 50 years.
She enjoyed traveling and gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine Barber, Santa Barbara, Calif.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Alice Leone Smith
The memorial service for Alice Leone Smith will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Zion Lutheran Church. Pastor Lou Schneider will officiate. Interment will be in Log Town Cemetery in Ruch.
Mrs. Smith, 75, of Medford, died Monday (Nov. 8, 1999) in Medford.

She was born Aug. 18, 1924, in San Diego, a daughter of Levi Lawrence and Alice Barker (Smith) Wilson. She graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1943.
On Nov. 24, 1949, in Grants Pass, she married Lyman Ford Smith, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Grants Pass in 1952.
Mrs. Smith worked in the bindery at Gandee Printing Company in Medford for 10 years. She was also a homemaker.
She belonged to the Reams Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Medford. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile and was a past president of the Alpha Lambda Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Phillip Houck, Jacksonville; a daughter, Marian Olson, Trail; a brother, Robert L. Wilson, Vancouver, Wash.; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and several stepgrandchildren.

Irene Mary Mitchell
Irene Mary Mitchell, 92, of Medford, died Monday (Nov. 8, 1999) at Three Fountains Nursing Center in Medford. No service is planned.
She was born Irene Mary Still on Feb. 4, 1907, in Rogersville, Tenn. She grew up in Mineral, Idaho, and moved to the Applegate area in 1943.
On Aug. 26, 1942, in Portland, she married Russell Allen Mitchell, who died in 1981. She moved to Medford in 1955.
Mrs. Mitchell was an Avon sales representative and a homemaker.
She enjoyed playing her dulcimer and playing bridge.
Survivors include a son, Russ Jr., Applegate; a sister, Valeria Still, Baker City; and two grandchildren. A sister, Clara Butler, died in 1996; a brother, John Still, died in 1997.

John Douglas Cameron
The memorial service for John Douglas Cameron will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Cameron, 64, of Medford, died Monday (Nov. 8, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

He was born March 31, 1935, in Gold Hill, a son of Douglas and Elsie Mardon Cameron. He lived in the Rogue Valley all of his life.
Mr. Cameron was a security guard for many years.
He served in the U.S. Navy for several years.
Mr. Cameron enjoyed fishing, gardening, sports and hunting mushrooms.
Survivors include two sons, John C., and Eric, both Reno, Nev.; two sisters, Joan Voss and Carol Purdy, both Gold Hill; and two grandchildren.

Lawrence Ivan Poiset
Lawrence Ivan Poiset, 65, of Medford, died Thursday (Nov. 11, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. No service is planned. Interment will be in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, Calif. He will be buried with his only son, Steven Michael Poiset, who died at the age of 5.
Mr. Poiset was born Aug. 10, 1934 in Galesburg, Ill., a son of Lawrence and Iva Poiset.
On June 2, 1957, in Santa Monica, Calif., he married Bonnie Michael, who survives.
Mr. Poiset was a maintenance engineer. He moved to the Rogue Valley from California five years ago.
During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Cynthia Louise Squillace, in California; two brothers, Harold, in Alabama, and Don, in California; two sisters, Carol Poiset and Sybil Kay Poiset, both in California; and three grandchildren.

Sylvia Mae Peart
The cryptside service for Sylvia Mae Peart will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Pastor Stan Johnson of West Main Church of Christ will officiate.
Mrs. Peart, 90, of St. Helens, formerly of Medford, died Tuesday (Nov. 9, 1999) at Meadow Park Nursing Home in St. Helens.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
She was born Sylvia Crowl on May 27, 1909, in Medford, a daughter of Lawrence and Minnie (Fields) Crowl.
In 1936, in Yreka, Calif., she married Clifford Lamarr Peart, who died in 1994. She lived in the Rogue Valley for more than 60 years before moving to St. Helens.
Mrs. Peart was a homemaker.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and mushroom picking.
Survivors include a son, Jim, Warren; a daughter, Jean Forbes, Sun City, Ariz.; a brother, Bud Crowl, in Oregon; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
