Patricia Ilene Lute
The memorial service for Patricia Ilene Lute will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Clay Street Community Church of God, Ashland. Pastor Raymond Orndoff will officiate.
Ms. Lute, 68, of Medford, died Sunday (Nov. 14, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

Betty Lee Conover
Betty Lee Conover, 72, of Eagle Point, died Friday (Dec. 10, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center. The service will be announced at a later date.
She was born Betty Robinson on Nov. 16, 1927, in Tenino, Wash. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Eastern Oregon in 1940.
In January 1977, in Winnemucca, Nev., she married Clifton Conover, who survives.
Mrs. Conover raised cattle and horses.
She enjoyed traveling to the beach with the couple's three-wheel ATVs.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two brothers, Hobert J. Robinson Jr., Shelton, Wash., and Donald S. Robinson, Tenino, Wash. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Tot Ledbetter and Bernice Kelly; and two brothers, Dale Charles Robinson and Merrit Robinson.

Netta Rose Rector
The funeral for Netta Rose Rector will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Memorial Chapel. Pastor Edward Graham of Butte Creek Baptist Church of Eagle Point will officiate.
Mrs. Rector, 81, of Medford, died Monday (Dec. 13, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 5, 1918, in Compromise, Ill., a daughter of Lloyde L. and Goldie (Pitts) Brown. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1946, from Vancouver, British Columbia.
On Jan. 2, 1948, in Medford, she married John O. Rector, who died in 1998.
Mrs. Rector was a homemaker. She also worked for several years at Mimi's Yarn Shop in Jacksonville.
She was a member of the Butte Creek Baptist Church in Eagle Point, and held a position at the Medford Christian Women's Club. She was a member of Southern Oregon Stitchery.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Hilton, Beaverton; a sister, Alberta Jackson, Lewiston, Idaho; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Frank Rector; a sister, Lenora Clarke; and a brother, Lloyde Brown Jr.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel.
Valeita M. Eller
The graveside service for Valeita M. Eller will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Eagle Point National Cemetery. The Rev. John Braund of the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenix will officiate.
Mrs. Eller, 79, of Medford, died Sunday (Dec. 12, 1999) at Hearthstone.
She was born July 8, 1920, in Sams Valley, a daughter of James and Myrtle (Tucker) Cunley.
On April 6, 1955, in Ashland, she married John Eller, who survives. She lived in the Rogue Valley all her life.
Mrs. Eller belonged to the Eagles Lodge.
She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, Lester Calhoun, Talent, Emmitt Calhoun, Medford, and William Stevenson, Redding, Calif.; a daughter, Daisey Walker, Medford; and five other children, James, Eugene, Lucille, Darlene and Dorothy; a sister, Violet Moore, Medford; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Carol Edna Dailey
The memorial service for Carol Edna Dailey will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Clay Street Community Church, Ashland. The Rev. Raymond Orndoff will officiate. Inurnment will be in Hornbrook Cemetery, Hornbrook, Calif.
Mrs. Dailey, 85, of Eagle Point, died Sunday (Dec. 12, 1999) at a foster care home in Medford.

She was born Carol Edna Brownlee on May 3, 1914, in Encampment, Wyo.
In 1936, in Grants Pass, she married Charles Dailey, who died in 1971. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Bly in 1971.
Mrs. Dailey enjoyed crocheting, gardening, her cats and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ebert, Eagle Point; two sons, Charles Jr., Central Point, and Darold, Forest Grove; a sister, Phyllis Wager, Medford; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Ann Dailey, in 1946; and a son, Kenneth, in 1975.

Chauncey Parker
Chauncey W. "Shine" Parker, 93, of Prospect died Monday (Dec. 13, 1999) in a foster care home in Central Point. No service is planned.
He was born March 15, 1906, in Rochester, N.Y., a son of George H. and Maude Parker. He was raised and attended schools in Ludlow, Mass.
On July 3, 1930, in Ludlow, Mass., he married Marion Selena Frey, who died in 1993.
Mr. Parker worked at Westover Air Base in Massachusetts during World War II. He moved west in 1946.
Mr. Parker raised chicken fryers in San Fernando, Calif., and in the northern Willamette Valley. After moving to Medford in 1951, he worked at Albers Farm Store in Medford and Olson-Lawyer Lumber in White City, retiring in 1971.
He was a member of the Medford United Methodist Church and the Rogue Valley Pairs Chapter of Good Sams.
He enjoyed traveling, camping and gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Guy H., Prospect, and Bruce M., Jacksonville, Fla.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

William R. Dieriex
William R. Dieriex, 66, of Medford, died Friday (Dec. 10, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. A private graveside service will be held. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford.

He was born Aug. 20, 1933, in Rushville, Neb., a son of John and Pauline Dieriex. He was raised in The Dalles, and graduated from The Dalles High School. He graduated from Oregon State University in Corvallis.
Following graduation from college, he served in the U.S. Army, stateside. He moved to Medford in 1957 after his discharge.
On May 3, 1963, he married Louise Stocker, who survives.
Mr. Dieriex was an environmental health sanitarian for Jackson County until his retirement in 1995.
He was an active member of the Rogue Valley Road Riders Motorcycle Club and Oregon United Motorcycle Club International.
Mr. Dieriex enjoyed landscaping, grafting antique apple trees, photography and oil painting.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two nieces in Canada. He was preceded in death by a half-brother.

Stanley Charles Horton
Stanley Charles Horton, of Medford, died Friday (Dec. 10, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. A private family service was held.
He was born June 13, 1914, in Belgrade, Mo.
On Nov. 16, 1936, he married Corinne Wood, who survives.
Mr. Horton was a telephone repairman for Southern California Bell until he transferred to Oregon with Pacific Northwest Bell. He retired in Medford in 1975, after 34 years of service.
He was a member of Medford Masonic Lodge 103.
Mr. Horton enjoyed hiking, the Oregon coast, gardening and winters in Arizona.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Linda Pieri, Little Rock, Ark.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
