Charlotte B. Dunn
Charlotte B. Dunn, 83, of Grants Pass died Wednesday (Dec. 15, 1999) at Fairview Transitional Health Center in Grants Pass. The graveside service was held at Granite Hill Cemetery in Grants Pass.
She was born May 21, 1916, in Farmington, N.M., a daughter of William and Charlottie Black.
On May 31, 1934, in Provo, Utah, she married Ralph Dunn, who died in 1969.
Mrs. Dunn was a dietician in Utah and Southern California. She moved to Grants Pass in 1994 from Arcadia, Calif.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She enjoyed reading, needlework, gardening and raising house plants. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing.
Survivors include three sons, Gary, Grants Pass, Kenneth, San Diego, and Richard, Broken Arrow, Okla.; a daughter, Irene Brown, Grants Pass; a brother, Richard Black, Orem, Utah; a sister, Barbara Jenkins, Orem, Utah; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

David Brian Mitchell
The funeral for David Brian Mitchell will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Mitchell, 18, of Medford, died Thursday (Dec. 16, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

He was born May 6, 1981, in Medford. He spent most of this life in the Rogue Valley.
Mr. Mitchell was a student.
He was a member of the Applegate Christian Church.
Mr. Mitchell enjoyed music, camping, riding horses and participating in activities at Hope Equestrian Center.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Diane and Ron Zieser, Medford; his father and stepmother, Tim and Tracy Mitchell, Waldport; two sisters, Casey and Rene Mitchell, Waldport; and his grandparents, Victor and Elizabeth Drew, Talent, Claude and Melissa Mix, Gold Hill, and Arnie and Cecile Ramsey, Merlin.
Friends and family may pay their respects from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, Medford.
Rosa Ethel Pool
Rosa Ethel Pool, 74, of Medford, died Tuesday (Dec. 14, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center. A private family service is planned.
She was born Rosa James on Aug. 13, 1925, in Yellville, Ark.
In 1974, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., she married Edward Lee Pool, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Pool worked for various banks in the Los Angeles area before retiring. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1987 from Fallbrook, Calif.
She was president of the Resident Council at Fountain Plaza.
Mrs. Pool enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge, gardening and roses.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Murray, Medford, and Deone Raco, Battle Ground, Wash.; two brothers, Manuel James, Springfield, Mo., and Fred James, Harrison, Ark.; two sisters, Lila James, Burbank, Calif., and Sue Rochlitz, Redding, Calif.; one grandson; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Azalene Carter and Jessica Nadine Goodall; and a brother, William Samuel James.

Robert Hess
The memorial service for Robert Hess will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Medford Friends Church. Pastor Mark Burton will officiate.
Mr. Hess, 84, of Central Point, died Sunday (Dec. 12, 1999) at his home.

He was born Dec. 17, 1914, in Plymouth, Ohio. He completed four years of college.
On Nov. 4, 1938, in Pasadena, Calif., he married Vera Boye, who died in August 1999.
Mr. Hess was a missionary for American Sunday School for 15 years. He was also a youth leader for California Christian Endeavor Union for 10 years, and a chaplain and administrator for the Union Rescue Mission of Los Angeles for 25 years. He moved to Oregon 10 years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Daryl Ann Johnson, Central Point; a son, David Erin, Medford; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion and Harold Hess.

Charles Don Jones
The funeral for Charles Don Jones will be at 1 p.m. today in Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park. The Rev. Bob Gass of Harvest Baptist Church will officiate.
Mr. Jones, 65, of Central Point, died Monday (Dec. 13, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

Mary K. Kercher
The memorial service for Mary Katherine Kercher will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hope Christian Church in Central Point. The Rev. Darrell Hutsell will officiate.
Ms. Kercher, 77, of Central Point, died Monday (Dec. 13, 1999) at her home.
She was born Mary Ellis on July 13, 1922, in Mount Leonard, Mo. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Santa Monica, Calif., in 1946.
Ms. Kercher was a homemaker all of her life.
She enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Survivors include a daughter, Rose M. Kercher, Central Point; a son, Ralph E., Sedalia, Mo.; a brother, Robert Ellis, Woodburn; a sister, Elizabeth Getgen, Rose Lodge; one granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters. A son, James R., preceded her in death.

Robert S. Livingston
The memorial service for Robert S. Livingston will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church, Medford. The Rev. Richard Kirk will officiate.
The graveside service for Mr. Livingston will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Livingston, 87, of Medford, died Wednesday (Dec. 15, 1999) at Farmington Square.

He was born Feb. 6, 1912, in Central Square, N.Y. He graduated from Stanford University in 1935 and received his M.B.A. in economics from Harvard in 1937.
On Dec. 21, 1937, he married Maxine Johnson, who survives.
Mr. Livingston worked for Proctor and Gamble for several years. He also taught at Sacramento Junior College, operated his own business, Livingston Personnel Services, for 18 years, and was a professor at Biola University for 10 years.
He was a volunteer for overseas crusade until 1994.
Mr. Livingston served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945.
Mr. Livingston enjoyed traveling, including overseas, woodworking and teaching men's Bible studies at the First Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Richard, Antioch, Calif.; a daughter, Susan Livingston, in Virginia; and five grandchildren.
