Maria "Susie" Fox
A memorial graveside service will be held for Maria "Susie" Ursula Fox of Medford at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford.
Officiating will be Father Liam Cary of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mrs. Fox, 82, died Friday (Dec. 17, 1999) at Hearthstone Manor.

Born Oct. 21, 1917, in Progreso Yucatan, Mexico, she moved to the Rogue Valley from Fox Lake, Illinois in 1974.
She married Harold Fox on Aug. 13, 1962 in Brownsville, Texas. He died on Dec. 29, 1975.
A homemaker, she attended the White City Catholic Church at the Department of Veterans Affairs Domiciliary in White City.
Survivors include stepsons Edward Fox of Eagle Point, Eugene Fox of Medford and Donald Fox of Medford; two step-granddaughters; nine step-great-grandchildren and three step great-great-granddaugthers.

Georgina B. Glathar
The funeral for Georgina B. Glathar, 77, of Medford, who died Thursday (Dec. 16, 1999) following a motor vehicle accident, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park.
Born Georgina B. Thompson on Feb. 10, 1922, in Devils Lake, N.D., she married Robert Glathar on Aug. 22, 1944, in Denton, Texas.
She moved to the Rogue Valley with her husband in 1941 from North Dakota. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, playing cards, camping and traveling. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include daughters Patricia Porter of Tucson, Ariz., Donna Glathar of Monmouth and Tamara Freudenthaler of Eugene; sons Robert W. Glathar of Philomath, Gordon Glathar of Medford and Thomas Glathar of Edmund, Okla.; sister Joyce Lecklider of Downey, Calif.; and brother Raymond Thompson of Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Georgia.

Floyd `Whitey' Dunlap
The graveside service for Floyd C. "Whitey" Dunlap will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Eagle Point National Cemetery. Chaplain John Braund of Rogue Valley Hospice will officiate.
Mr. Dunlap, 66, of Central Point, died Wednesday (Dec. 15, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

He was born July 28, 1933, in Prescott, Ariz. He completed 1 years of college.
On June 8, 1956, in Glendale, Calif., he married Frankie Brown, who survives. They later divorced.
On June 2, 1983, in Reno, Nev., he married Janet Bachmeyer, who survives.
Mr. Dunlap was a salesman. He lived in Oregon for 28 years.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1953 to 1957.
Mr. Dunlap was an avid fisherman and sports fan, and enjoyed entertaining friends and cooking.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Jess Dunlap, Medford, Rich Dunlap, Littleton, Colo., and Kurt Bachmeyer, Bonsell, Calif.; four daughters, Kathi Carney, Aurora, Colo.; Joni Dunlap, Ashland, Heidi Hix, Central Point, and Gretchen Bachmeyer, Albany; his mother, Mabel Dunlap, Salinas, Calif.; a sister, Debbie Dunlap, Central Point; his former wife, Frankie Montague, Talent; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Ebrahimi.

Lillian S. Burger
The memorial service for Lillian Schram Burger will be at 10 a.m. today in Memory Gardens Chapel.
Ms. Burger, 80, of Medford, died Thursday (Dec. 16, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

She was born Lillian Schram on Aug. 17, 1919, in New York, N.Y. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1995 from Los Angeles.
Ms. Burger was an actress. She performed in television, motion pictures ("The Fabulous Baker Boys"), and locally in commercials and stage productions.
She was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the Actors Federation of Television and Radio Actors (AFTRA).
Survivors include a son, Robert, Medford; a daughter, Roxanne Walker, in Southern California; a sister, Frances Weiner, in Florida; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Carlson.

Josephine Eichelberger
The graveside service for Josephine A. Eichelberger will be at 3 p.m. today in Mount Hope Cemetery in Aumsville.
Mrs. Eichelberger, 90, of Salem, formerly of Medford, died Thursday (Dec. 16, 1999) in Salem.
She was born Josephine Martinent on Aug. 3, 1909, in Pacheco, Calif.
In 1931, she married Sharon S. Eichelberger, who survives. She lived in Medford from 1953 to 1980, when she moved to Salem.
Mrs. Eichelberger belonged to the Women of Rotary and the Salem Knife and Fork Club.
She enjoyed playing bridge.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Stephen, Salem; and two grandchildren.

`Mary' Maria Miller
The funeral for "Mary" Maria Romero Miller will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Hillcrest Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will follow. Rev. William Dillard of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford will officiate.
Mrs. Miller, 72, of White City, died Tuesday (Dec. 14, 1999) at her home.
She was born Maria Romero on Jan. 25, 1927, in Mexicali, Mexico.
In 1950, in Yuma, Ariz., she married Ernest Ray Miller, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley 30 years ago from Long Beach, Calif.
Mrs. Miller worked for 3M Corp. for 17 years. She was also a homemaker.
She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima in Shady Cove.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, Raymond and Terry Miller, both White City, and Robert Manning, Central Point; three brothers, Nick Romero, Mexicali, Mexico, Manuel Romero, Twentynine Palms, Calif., and Armando Romero, Anaheim, Calif.; three sisters, Aurora Romero, Colton, Calif., Amparo Stewart, Nuevo, Calif., and Hortencia Espinosa, Lakewood, Calif.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may pay their respects from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday in Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, Medford.
Thomas Earl Watkins
The graveside service for Thomas Earl Watkins will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Watkins, 36, of Crescent City, died Wednesday (Dec. 15, 1999) as a result of a fishing boat accident.
He was born Feb. 7, 1963, in Medford, a son of LeRoy and Ruth Watkins. He moved to Del Norte County four years ago.
Mr. Watkins worked in the timber industry prior to becoming a commercial fisherman.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Watkins enjoyed the outdoors.
Survivors include three sons, Justin, Michael and Kalvin, Medford; two stepchildren, Amanda and Cameran Edwards, Crescent City; two brothers, Larry, Crescent City, and Martin, Salt Lake City; a sister, Christina Watkins, Everett, Wash; and his fiancee, Jackie Edward, Crescent City. He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Ruth Watkins.
Friends may pay their respect from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Wier's Mortuary Chapel, Crescent City.
