Charlotte Fogelquist
The memorial service for Charlotte Fogelquist will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the United Congregational Church. The Rev. Paul Robinson will officiate.
Mrs. Fogelquist, 88, of Jacksonville, died Dec. 17, 1999, at Loving Care Foster Care in Medford.
She was born Charlotte Adams on Sept. 22, 1911, in Husum, Wash.
On May 29, 1931, in Portland, she married Floyd Fogelquist, who died in 1995. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1948 from Naches, Wash.
Mrs. Fogelquist was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Gavin and Mae McClelland, both Jacksonville, and Judith Fogelquist, Seattle; a son, Lloyd, Portland; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Netta Kobbe; and a brother, Theodore Adams.

Mary Carmela Warner
The memorial service for Mary Carmela Warner will be at 2 p.m. Monday, in Talent Friends Church.
Mrs. Warner, 90, of Mount Angel, formerly of Medford, died Sunday (Dec. 19, 1999) in Woodburn.

She was born Mary Calienni on June 4, 1909, in Bellevue, Ohio. She graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio in 1933.
In November 1972, she married John E. Warner, who died in 1991.
Mrs. Warner was a registered nurse.
Survivors include a son, Earl Warner; two daughters, Doris Hansen, and Zella Galligan; two sisters, Estelle Warton and Rose Kathryn Calienni, both Huron, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Esther A. Scherbinske
Esther Agnes Scherbinske, 84, of Medford, died Wednesday (Dec. 22, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. A private family service will be held later.
She was born Aug. 14, 1915, in Aberdeen, S.D.
In 1934, in South Dakota, she married Harry Scherbinske, who died in 1982.
Mrs. Scherbinske raised orchids and sold the seeds and plants to florists. She was also a homemaker.
She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Los Gatos, Calif. She moved to the Rogue Valley in August 1999, from Los Gatos, Calif.
Mrs. Scherbinske enjoyed flowers, especially orchids.
Survivors include a son, Larry, Medford; three daughters, Dorothy Cantrell, Oak Harbor, Wash., Ruth Anne Summers, Ogden, Utah, and Joann Johnson, Morley, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers; and a sister.

Mildred M. Harvey
Mildred M. Harvey, 77, of Grants Pass, died Monday (Dec. 20, 1999) at Three Rivers Community Hospital, Dimmick Campus. A private service will be held in California.
She was born May 5, 1922, in St. Paul, Minn. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1988 from Soquel, Calif.
Mrs. Harvey was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Donald Sletten, Selma, Leonard Sletten, San Jose, Calif., and Kerry Sletten, Santa Cruz, Calif.; a daughter, Patricia Long, Pleasant Hill, Calif.; a brother, Sherman Ikerd, Woodland, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and four grandchildren. Her husband, Donald Sletten, died in 1988.

Berwyn `Bill' A. Ellison
The chapel service for Berwyn "Bill" A. Ellison will be at 11 a.m. today in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Pastor Lou Schneider of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate.
Mr. Ellison, 87, of Medford, died Sunday (Dec. 19, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
The service site has been changed. The full obituary ran Wednesday.
Katherine L. Jordan
Katherine Louise Jordan, 58, of Medford, died Tuesday (Dec. 21, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center. No service is planned.

She was born June 24, 1941, in Whittier, Calif.
On Oct. 28, 1975, in Lake Tahoe, Calif., she married J.D. Jordan, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley from California in 1975.
Mrs. Jordan worked for Valley of the Rogue Bank for several years.
She was a member of the Applegate Christian Fellowship.
Mrs. Jordan was a master gardener.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Kelly Jordan, Redding, Calif., and Lynn Duffy, Escondido, Calif.; two sons, Christopher Stuart, Medford, and Todd Jordan, Port Hueneme, Calif.; and a granddaughter, Jacque Stuart, who lived with her.

James T. Plymell
The funeral for James T. Plymell will be at 8:30 a.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford. A graveside service will follow at 10 a.m. in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Plymell, 80, of Medford, died Saturday (Dec. 18, 1999) at Medford Rehabilitation Center.

He was born June 19, 1919, in Seattle, a son of Leslie and Helen Plymell.
On Dec. 6, 1945, in Eugene, he married Virginia Ness, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Plymell was a laboratory director for Sacred Heart Catholic Hospital in Eugene. He moved to the Rogue Valley from Eugene in 1965.
He served in the Army Medical Corps during World War II.
Mr. Plymell was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include a nephew, Tom Hawn, Scottsdale, Ariz.

Louise E. Thompson
The memorial service for Louise E. Thompson will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, in the First Baptist Church in Newberg. A private family graveside service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28.
Mrs. Thompson, 91, of Newberg, formerly of Ashland, died Tuesday (Dec. 21, 1999) in Oakwood Country Place, in McMinnville.

She was born April 28, 1908, in Stambaugh, Mich., a daughter of John and Mollie Olsen Erickson. She graduated from Stambaugh High School in 1926. After graduation, she moved to Chicago.
On Feb. 18, 1945, in Glendale, Calif., she married Elmer Thompson, who died in 1981.
Mrs. Thompson began her career in Chicago in the office of an engineering firm. In 1935, she began working for The Home Insurance Company, while continuing her education at night classes at the American Academy of Art, and at Moody Bible Institute. In September 1941, she transferred to the Los Angeles office of the Home Insurance Co. After her children reached school age, she worked part-time for the Bank of America, and later full time.
She moved to Ashland following her husband's retirement in 1970, and lived there until 1981. She later moved to Jacksonville, where she lived with her son.
Mrs. Thompson attended night classes in art and writing and had written and self-published a family history book and three Christian novels.
She was a member of the Ashland Bible Church. In Jacksonville, she was active in the Ruch Community Bible Church. After moving to Newberg in 1992, she joined the First Baptist Church, Newberg, where she was active in the seniors group.
Survivors include two sons, John, Newberg, and Mark, Lompoc, Calif.; two sisters, Blanche Brown, Auburn, Calif., and Janet Rodda, Hemet, Calif.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
