Ethel `Pink' A. Schleigh
The memorial service for Ethel A. "Pink" Schleigh will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Southwest Church of the Nazarene, Medford.
Mrs. Schleigh, 99, of Medford, died Tuesday (Dec. 21, 1999) at Three Fountains Nursing Center.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southwest Nazarene Church, 1481 S. Columbus Ave., Medford, OR 97501, or to a favorite charity.
She was born Ethel Crouse on Dec. 1, 1900, in Carlton.
In June 1918, in Oregon, she married William C. Schleigh, who preceded her in death. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1962.
Mrs. Schleigh was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Southwest Church of the Nazarene, Medford.
Mrs. Schleigh enjoyed gardening and canning.
Survivors include a son, William Lester, Medford. She was preceded in death by four brothers; and two sisters.

Lowell Lee Mason
The funeral for Lowell Lee Mason will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Bethel Church in Medford.
The Rev. Thomas Kindell, Mr. Mason's brother-in-law, will officiate. Interment will follow in Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford.
Mr. Mason, 67, of Medford, died Tuesday (Dec. 21, 1999) at his daughter's home in Jacksonville.
He was born Feb. 29, 1932, in Tillamook, a son of Chester A. and Velma I (Clark) Mason. He completed two years of college.
On Jan. 12, 1980, in Medford, he married Kristine Ann Kindell, who survives.
Mr. Mason was a long-haul truck driver.
He enjoyed snow skiing, water skiing, hiking and fishing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Cheryl Burke, Jacksonville; four sons, Joel, Central Point, Mike, Salem, and Steve and Dan, both Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; a sister, Esther Mason, San Diego; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday in Bethel Church, 1225 East McAndrews Road, Medford.

Rose Hughes Hogan
A memorial Mass for Rose Loretta Hughes Hogan will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford. The Rev. Liam Cary will officiate.
Mrs. Hogan, of Medford, died Thursday (Dec. 23, 1999) at Rogue Valley Manor.
She was born in St. Louis, Mo. On June 27, 1935, in Kansas City, Mo., she married Joseph F. Hogan, who preceded her in death in 1979.
She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1992 from San Francisco.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed arts and music, golf and traveling. She was a member of the San Francisco Golf Club, Town & Country Club and Century Club, of San Francisco, and the Rogue Valley Country Club of Medford.
Survivors include daughters Mary Jo Follett and Patricia H. Brann, both of Medford, sons William H. of Burbank, Calif., and Paul B. of Pacifica, Calif., nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha J., and a son, Joseph F.

Twila May Lantz
The funeral for Twila May Lantz will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lantz, 75, of Medford, died Tuesday (Dec. 21, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
She was born Twila Latham on May 24, 1924, in Paris, Idaho.
On Feb. 27, 1949, in Portland, she married Ivan Lantz, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1949 from Portland.
Mrs. Lantz worked at Drew's Men's Store for 25 years. She also did clerical work for Jackson County schools.
She was a member of the letter carriers auxiliary.
Mrs. Lantz enjoyed traveling and crafts.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Steve, Medford, and Howard, Burke, Va.; three sisters, Jessie Plant, Medford, Lucille Warren, Portland, and Marye Ruth Wood, Moses Lake, Wash.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Craig R. Brown
The funeral for Craig R. Brown will be at noon Tuesday in Hull & Hull Chapel, Grants Pass. Pastor Bob Wood will officiate. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Brown, 43, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday (Dec. 21, 1999) at his home.

He was born May 21, 1956, in Medford. He moved with his family to Grants Pass in 1965, and graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1975.
Mr. Brown was a framer with Diamond, now Schrock Cabinet Company.
He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army for four years, most of that time in West Germany. While in the service be became a toe missile gunner, which is an anti-tank weapons expert. After the service he attended Rogue Community College for two years, where he studied to be a mechanic.
Mr. Brown enjoyed working on cars and trucks, snow skiing, weight lifting, a racing hydroplane boats with his father.
Survivors include a daughter, Bethaney Brown, Grants Pass; his mother and stepfather, Zoedell and Dwight Fleury, Lebanon; his father, Lyle R. Sr., Grants Pass; two sisters, Sherry Fleury, Sweet Home, and Cheryl Milkien, in Southern California; a brother, Lyle V. Jr., Grants Pass. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Verley and Nona Brown, and Charles and Irene Stelle.

Thomas Michael Lynch
Thomas Michael "Mike" Lynch, 68, of Eugene, formerly of Medford, died Dec. 11, 1999, of liver cancer, in Eugene. The memorial service was held in Eugene.

He was born April 29, 1931, in Devils Lake, N.D., a son of W.H. and Lillian Pirila Lynch. In 1942, he moved with his family to Eugene, where he graduated from University High School in 1949. In 1953, he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Oregon, where he lettered in golf, and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and the Honorary Retail Merchandising Society.
Mr. Lynch worked in retail marketing for food and beverage, paper products and golf equipment companies. He also spent 15 years in hospital administration, specializing in alcohol and drug treatment programs. In the Rogue Valley he worked for Boise Cascade from 1968-69, at the Bear Creek Golf Course in 1987, and was a hospital consultant in Medford from 1986-87. He also worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Advanced Health Systems in Portland, Sierra Tucson, and Nevada Bob's Discount Golf Shop in Portland, retiring in 1994.
He was an avid golfer and a 1947 Ryder Cup caddy at Portland Golf Club. He enjoyed reading history, and was an enthusiastic booster of UO women's athletics.
Survivors include a son, Michael D., Portland; and a brother, J.D. "Pat," Santa Rosa, Calif.

Hermina Foster
Hermina Foster, 101, of Medford, died Wednesday (Dec. 22, 1999) at her home. The memorial service will be held in Iowa.

She was born Hermina Dorweiler on April 19, 1898, in Kossuth County, Iowa.
In 1921, in West Bend, Iowa, she married Dr. C.S. Foster, who died in 1970. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1993.
Mrs. Foster was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and Phi Beta Kappa.
She was a 67-year member of the First Congregational Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Paul, Medford; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Foster Hoff, in 1964.
