Homer Allen Vinzant
The funeral for Homer Allen Vinzant will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens Mortuary. Pastor Pete Slusher of Community Bible Church in Central Point will officiate. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mr. Vinzant, 90, of Central Point, died Monday (Dec. 27, 1999) at a local foster home.

He was born Jan. 10, 1909, in Mercer, Mo.
On Dec. 6, 1930, in Hot Springs, S.D., he married Verda May Deister, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley 52 years ago from Wyoming.
Mr. Vinzant worked for Burlington Railroad. He then went to work for Wyoming Gas and Oil Co., in Osage, Wyo. for 13 years. After moving to Medford, he worked for Elk Lumber, now Boise Cascade, for 25 years, retiring in 1974.
He was a member of Medford Masonic Lodge 103 and Central Point IOOF 193.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Rebecca Jean Frick, Central Point, Alice May Garrett, Medford, and Diana Meyer, Tualatin; a son, Robert A., Paradise, Calif.; three sisters, Flora Smith, Joplin, Mo., Ola Ellis, Upton, Wyo., and Ida Ellis, Sheridan, Wyo.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie Vinzant; and two brothers.
Friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.
Audrey Mae Bronneke
The memorial service for Audrey Mae Bronneke will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Greenbrier Recreation Hall, 301 Freeman Road, Central Point.
Mrs. Bronneke, 76, of Central Point, died Monday (Dec. 27, 1999) at Three Fountains Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Audrey Mae Westfall on May 1, 1923, in Los Angeles.
On Feb. 19, 1970, in Carson City, Nev., she married Homer Samuel `Red' Bronneke, who died on Oct. 8, 1999.
Mrs. Bronneke was a legal secretary for Washoe County, the Reno District Attorney and the Reno City Attorney's offices in Nevada. She retired in 1974. She moved to Central Point from Shelter Cove, Calif., in 1984.
She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing and gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Hanson, Eagle Point; two sons, Howard Tompkins, Central Point, and Jak Tompkins, Medford; a sister, Bonny Jean Hollis, Bishop, Calif.; a brother, Robert Westfall, Winnemucca, Nev., and five grandchildren.

Juanita E. Coppock
Juanita Elizabeth Coppock, 68, of Central Point, died Tuesday (Dec. 28, 1999) at her home. No service is planned.
She was born June 11, 1931, in Chandler, Okla., a daughter of Marvin and Letha McLane Blair.
Mrs. Coppock was a homemaker. She moved to the Rogue Valley four months ago from Concord, Calif.
Survivors include four sons, Eldon Jr., Martinez, Calif., Roger, John and Odas, all Concord, Calif.; a daughter, Victoria Bergman, Concord, Calif.; a brother, Bud Blair, Pacheco, Calif.; three sisters, Donna Bell, Gold Hill, Rhonda Gonzalves, Orland, Calif., and Marian Mattos, Eureka, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon, who died July 4, 1999; and by two sisters and a brother.

Darlene D. Swartz
The memorial service for Darlene Dorothy Swartz will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Table Rock Mobile Village Club House, 2385 Table Rock Road, Medford.
Ms. Swartz, 62, of Medford, died Dec. 21, 1999, at her home.

She was born April 10, 1937, in Buffalo Center, Iowa, a daughter of John and Theresa Rudisill. She lived in the Rogue Valley for the last 21 years.
Ms. Swartz worked in credit and collections for Rogue Federal Credit Union.
Survivors include a son, Jeff, Medford; a daughter, Kristi Lankford-Chandler, Medford; her mother, Theresa Rudisill, Wooden, Iowa; three brothers, Chuck Rudisill, Wooden, Iowa, John Rudisill, Des Moines, Iowa, and Jim Rudisill, Wapello, Iowa; six sisters, Gladys McClanahan, Lincoln, Calif., Marge Cushman, Titonka, Iowa, Shirley Meyers, Mesa, Ariz., Maryann Alphs, Buffalo Center, Iowa, Janice Dillon, Thief River Falls, Minn., and Betty Lara, Santa Barbara, Calif.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Rudisill.

Charles `Lee' Glosser
The memorial service for Charles "Lee" L. Glosser will be at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church, Central Point. A private interment is planned.
Mr. Glosser, 77, of Talent, died Sunday (Dec. 26, 1999) at his apartment in Alterra-Wynwood in Medford.

He was born Aug. 11, 1922, in Gettysburg, S.D., in a home his father had built. He moved to Long Beach, Calif., in 1935.
Mr. Glosser began his working career as a chiropractor. When he took the California State Board for Chiropractors, he finished first in a group of 600 taking the test. He later switched careers and became a certified internal auditor for Jorgensen Steel in Southern California.
After retiring, he moved to the Rogue Valley in 1988.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. Glosser was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Gardena, Calif., chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Certified Internal Auditors Association.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Central Point, where he had served as a Deacon and treasurer since 1991.
Mr. Glosser enjoyed reading and cross-stitch.
Survivors include a son, Howard, Central Point; a daughter, Linda Ramstead, Squaw Valley, Calif.; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ron.

Ruth E. Cherry
Ruth E. Cherry, 80, of Medford, died Monday (Dec. 27, 1999) at her home. No service is planned.
She was born Ruth Herber on Jan. 27, 1919, in La Crosse, Wis.
On Oct. 6, 1958, in Tucson, Ariz., she married Fred Cherry, who survives. She lived in the Rogue Valley for 25 years.
Mrs. Cherry was a homemaker.
She enjoyed crafts, gardening and watching birds.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, Darrell Baer, White City, Shawn Cherry, Medford, and David Herber, Riverside, Calif.; a daughter, Aleta Ewert, Vancouver, Wash.; a stepson, Fred Cherry Jr., Medford; a brother, Robert Herber; three sisters, Lorraine Miller, Sparta, Wis., Lillian Davenport, Soldiers Grove, Wis., and Marilyn Elliott, Ettrick, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William Frederick Herber, Roland Emil Herber, and James F. Herber.

Nora L. Leightman
Nora Liberty Leightman, 74, of Medford, formerly of Pennsylvania, died Monday (Dec. 27, 1999) at Rogue Valley Manor. A private service was held.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Survivors include her husband, Edward, Medford.
