Corinne Grace Tower
Corinne Grace Tower, 80, of Medford, died Sunday (Jan. 2, 2000) at her home. No service is planned.

She was born Corinne Galbraith on July 23, 1919, in Vancouver, Wash.
On Oct. 11, 1942, in Vancouver, Wash., she married Robert Eugene Tower, who survives. She lived in San Diego prior to moving to Grants Pass. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1991.
Mrs. Tower was a homemaker.
She enjoyed gardening.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Douglas, La Mesa, Calif.; a daughter, Janet Mott, Taft, Calif.; a sister, Margaret Eastman, Ocean Park, Wash.; and three grandchildren.

Ellis A. Benbrooks
The memorial service for Ellis A. Benbrooks will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Eternal Hills Chapel, Klamath Falls. The Rev. Don Ruhl will officiate. Interment will be in Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Benbrooks, 96, of Klamath Falls, formerly of Eagle Point, died Thursday (Dec. 30, 1999) in Klamath Falls.
He was born March 22, 1903, in Vandervoort, Ark., a son of John Thomas and Mollie (Dunigan) Benbrooks. He grew up in Arkansas and worked in that area until 1934 when he moved to Phoenix, Ariz. He lived there until 1945, and later in Tulelake, Calif.
On Feb. 9, 1927, he married Orvilla Sullivan, who died in 1986.
Mr. Benbrooks worked for Operating Engineers 701 of Portland, building bridges in Oregon, including the Columbia River area. He retired to Eagle Point in 1967.
He was a member of Operating Engineers 701 of Portland.
Mr. Benbrooks enjoyed fishing at Howard Prairie, Fish Lake and Willow Lake, and hunting off Copco Road.
Survivors include a son, Thomas, Yuma, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today in Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, Klamath Falls.
Alexander H. Millikin
Alexander Howe Millikin, 82, of Medford, died Friday (Dec. 31, 1999) at his home. A private service will be held later off the island of Maui.
He was born June 23, 1917, in Oakland, Calif.
On July 1, 1945, in Santa Ana, Calif., he married Alva La Tremouille, who died in 1985.
On July 12, 1986, in Honolulu, he married Janet Ross, who died in 1996. He moved to the Rogue Valley a year ago from Maui, Hawaii.
Mr. Millikin was a head of the engineering department at HC & S Sugar Co. in Puunene, Maui. He retired in 1976.
During World War II, he was a pilot in the Army Air Corps. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Silver Star.
Mr. Millikin enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two daughters, Raona Millikin Roy, Albany, N.Y., and Gail Millikin Butchart, Kailua, Hawaii; a son, L.J., Ulupalakua, Maui; and four grandsons.

Ann Barbara Preston
Ann Barbara Preston, 82, of Phoenix, died Sunday (Jan. 2, 2000) at her home. No service is planned.

She was born June 14, 1917, in Chicago, a daughter of George and Katherine (Riffner) Schmidt.
Ms. Preston worked in retail sales. She lived in the Rogue Valley for 22 years.
She was an avid collector of Americana collectibles.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Preston, Phoenix.

Edwin O. Weichers
Edwin Oscar Weichers, 85, of Central Point, died Friday (Dec. 31, 1999) at Three Fountains. No service is planned.
He was born July 6, 1914, in Ogden, Utah, a son of Edwin and Selma Weichers.
In 1935, he married Etta June Carsey, who died in 1940.
On May 11, 1940, he married Martha Rogers, who died in 1988.
Mr. Weichers worked for Owens Illinois Bottling Co. in Los Angeles for eight years. He later worked as a welding shop foreman for Camp Pendleton Marine Base in Oceanside, Calif., for 15 years, retiring in 1970. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1998 from Ramona, Calif.
He was a member of the I.O.O.F. in Oceanside, Calif., and the Wood Carver's National Association.
Survivors include a son, Edwin M., Grants Pass; three daughters, Patricia Smith, Central Point, Arlene daCorte, Wolfeboro, N.H., and Carol Soapes, Ramona, Calif.; a brother, Warren, South Gate, Calif.; a sister, Bernice Anderson, Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon.

Edwin John Kudrna
Edwin John Kudrna, 77, of Medford, died Friday (Dec. 31, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center. A private service will be held later.
He was born Oct. 8, 1922, in Buhl Twin Falls, Idaho.
In Reno, Nev., he married Ellamae Cooper, who survives.
Mr. Kudrna worked for the U.S. Forest Service until his retirement in 1982. He moved to the Rogue Valley seven years ago from Lakeview.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Kudrna was a member of the Elks Lodge.
He enjoyed woodworking and crafts.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Kenneth, Wilderville; two daughters, Karen Donner, Springfield, and Kathy Barnes, Milton Way, Wash.; a stepson, Ed Cooper, Eagle Point; a sister, Rose Cormie, Lakeview; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Jean McDougal Kudrna, in 1991; a son, John, in 1949; four brothers; and four sisters.

Daniel Owen McKeen
The funeral for Daniel Owen McKeen will be at noon Thursday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brookhurst Building, Fourth Ward, Medford. Bishop John Vial will officiate. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford.
Mr. McKeen, 77, of Medford, died Sunday (Jan. 2, 2000) at Providence Medford Medical Center.
He was born May 9, 1922, in Bakersfield, Calif.
On Nov. 1, 1941, in Tempe, Ariz., he married Velma L. Wolf, who survives. He moved to Medford in 1974 from Butte Falls.
Mr. McKeen owned a ranch in Butte Falls. After moving to Medford, he was a heavy equipment operator with Medford Corp. for 30 years.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater and was honored with two combat stars on his Philippine Liberation Medal.
Mr. McKeen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Medford.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and singing cowboy music.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Daniel O. Jr., Grants Pass; a sister, Frances Hawkins, in Colorado; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Ann Valentine, in 1998.
Friends may pay their respects from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brookhurst Building, Medford.
