Mary Ida Bosque
A private family service will be held for Mary Ida Bosque at the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mrs. Bosque, 81, of Medford, died Friday (Jan. 28, 2000) at her home.
She was born Mary Ida Millard on Aug. 2, 1918, in Klamath Falls. In 1938, in Klamath Falls, she married John W. Bosque II, who died in 1988.
The family moved to Medford from Maryland in 1974. Mrs. Bosque enjoyed collecting dolls and quilting. She was a member of the Emblem Club.
Survivors include two sons, John W. Bosque III, Alexandria, Va., and Denis A. Bosque of Newport; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Julienne Parsons
The memorial Mass for Julienne Parsons will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford.
Mrs. Parsons, 90, of Medford, died Saturday (Jan. 29, 2000) at her home.

She was born on Feb. 18, 1909, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. On July 3, 1936, in Omaha, Neb., she married R.R. "Bud" Parsons, who died in 1985. The family moved to Medford in 1954 from Roseburg.
Mrs. Parsons was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. In the 1920s, she was a professional dancer on the vaudeville circuit. Later, she was a real estate agent who at one time worked for both Realestaters and Coldwell Banker Pro West Real Estate.
Mrs. Parsons was a member of Pi Lambda Theta Honorary Society, the Mortar Board, the Board of Realtors and the Rogue Valley Country Club. She enjoyed bridge, crossword puzzles, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Anne Batzer of Sams Valley and Lynne Taylor of Salem; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters and a brother.

Helen Mae TenBrook
The memorial service for Helen Mae TenBrook will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Phoenix Church of Christ. Pastor David Humphrey will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. TenBrook, 86, of Medford, died Wednesday (Jan. 19, 2000) at her home.
She was born April 27, 1913, in Belfield, N.D., a daughter of Clifford and Cora McCarty.
On Oct. 30, 1937, in Santa Barbara, Calif., she married Edward Graham TenBrook, who died in 1996. She lived in Oregon for 24 years.
Mrs. TenBrook was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Phoenix Church of Christ.
She enjoyed fishing, golf and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include two sons, Dean, Medford, and Douglas, Clear Lake, Calif.; a sister, Dolly King, Paso Robles, Calif.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David TenBrook.
Friends may pay their respects from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Friday at 550 Business Park Drive, Medford.

Evelyn E. Maxson
The memorial service for Evelyn E. Maxson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Odd Fellows Hall in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Maxson, 81, of Jacksonville, died Tuesday (Jan. 18, 2000) at her home.

She was born Evelyn Burg on Jan. 11, 1919, in Tigard.
On Nov. 11, 1935, in Butte Falls, she married Wayne Randell Maxson, who survives.
Mrs. Maxson worked as a licensed practical nurse in the recovery room at Rogue Valley Medical Center for one year.
She was a docent at Beekman House in its first years, and delivered food for Loaves and Fishes for several years.
Mrs. Maxson enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls, designing doll clothes and reading.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include five daughters, Nancy Van Dyke and Barbara Lowe, both Jacksonville, Rebecca Hershey, Vancouver, Wash., Karen Rameson, Gaviota, Calif., Sandy McLaughlin, Lumberton, N.C., and Pat Germann, Oxnard, Calif.; a brother, Edward Burg, Butte Falls; a sister, Bess Fosterling, Portland; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Roger Paul and Gary Wayne Maxson; four sisters; and three brothers.

Andy Wilson
A celebration of the life of Andrew Bradley Wilson will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the Elk's Lodge, 255 E. Main St., Ashland.
Mr. Wilson, 87, of Ashland, died Tuesday (Jan. 18, 2000) at his home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Knoll Junior Golf Program, 3070 Highway 66, Ashland, OR 97520.
He was born Nov. 1, 1912, in Richmond, Calif., a son of Samuel and Ollie (Bradley) Wilson.
In the late 1930s, he went to work for Standard Oil of California, where he learned the welding trade.
He married Zelma Glazier and moved with their two children to Ashland in 1945. They later divorced.
In 1970, he married Murel Thompson, who survives.
In Ashland, Mr. Wilson owned property at the top of Strawberry Lane which included a peach orchard, a chicken ranch and later a riding stable where many residents rented horses for riding in the hills above town.
Mr. Wilson was a welder for Oak Street Tank and Steel and Ashland Machine Shop in the 1950s. He worked for Medford Steel in the 1960s and 1970s, retiring in 1975.
He was a member of the Ashland Elks Lodge 944 for 45 years.
Mr. Wilson enjoyed golf. He was a member of the Oak Knoll Men's Club in Ashland, where he played to a low single-digit handicap and won numerous awards, including the Ashland Senior Open Championship in 1982 and the Senior Men's Club Championship in 1984. During his golfing career, he had two holes-in-one and shot his age on three occasions.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Sandy Sorenson, Martinsberg, W.V.; a son, Ron, Fall Creek; two stepsons, Joseph Thompson, Ashland, and Glenn Thompson, Boulder City, Nev.; two stepdaughters, Joy Thompson, Simi Valley, Calif., and Melanie
Thompson, Buffalo, N.Y.; a brother, Bob, Salinas, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Craig Patterson
Craig Patterson, 39, of Medford, died Jan. 10, 2000, at his home. No service is planned.

He was born March 4, 1960, in Roseburg, a son of E.L. and Edna Patterson. He lived in the Rogue Valley for 25 years.
On Nov. 4, 1981, in Hot Springs, Mont., he married Nancy Perez, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Patterson was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed making furniture.
Survivors include his mother, Edna Patterson, Lookingglass; and two sisters, Mary McCright, Lookingglass, and Penny Thier, Winston. He was preceded in death by his father, E.L. Patterson.

Ray Henry Griffin
Ray Henry Griffin, 77, of Medford, died Tuesday (Jan. 18, 2000) at Hearthstone. A private service will be held at a later date.
He was born Dec. 4, 1922, in Walnut Grove, Mo.
On Sept. 7, 1941, in Carson City, Nev., he married Jean Louise Lockman, who survives.
Mr. Griffin was a sales manager for Wooster Brush Co. in Irvine, Calif., until his retirement in 1988. He moved to the Rogue Valley from Irvine 10 years ago.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Griffin was a member of the Presbyterian Church in California.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Larry, Medford, and Rodger, San Jose, Calif.; a brother, Roy, in Arizona; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilburn Griffin; and a sister, Martha McVey.
