Lillian Marie Fleenor
The graveside service for Lillian Marie Fleenor will be at 2 p.m. today at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass. Phil Lewis of the Grants Pass Jehovah's Witnesses congregation will officiate.
Mrs. Fleenor, 77, of Central Point, died Saturday (Feb. 26, 2000) at her home.
She was born Nov. 25, 1922, in St. George, Kan., a daughter of John and Anna Campbell.
On Feb. 29, 1936, in Bend, she married Glenn Fleenor, who died in 1995.
Mrs. Fleenor and her husband were in the dairy business while living in Bend and Grants Pass. They also lived in Phoenix, Ariz. from 1949 to 1963.
Mrs. Fleenor was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses for more than 60 years. She moved to Central Point in 1997.
An accomplished seamstress, she enjoyed embroidering, fishing, crossword puzzles and traveling.
Survivors include two daughters, Glenna Stuart, Central Point, and Carol Gruver, Grants Pass; a brother, Ronald Campbell, Chino Valley, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may pay their respects from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home, Grants Pass.
Beuford Marion `Doc' Walker
The funeral service for Beuford Marion "Doc" Walker, 76, will be at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel in Medford.
Pastor Ed Keyes of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church will officiate.
Mr. Walker died Saturday (March 4, 2000) in Medford.
He was born on July 26, 1933 in Oklahoma. On Dec. 9, 1990, in Medford, he married Lucille Hill Elliott, who survives.
In 1950 he married Margie Reynolds of Bakersfield, Calif., and in 1968 he married Betty West, who died.
He worked in the California oil fields and as a logger and trucker. He lived in the Rogue Valley for the past 10 years. He retired from Boise Cascade Corp.
He was a long-standing member of the Medford Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where he served as a local elder and deacon.
Survivors include: a son, Mike; two stepsons, Tommy Reynolds and Tom West; six stepdaughters, Vickie Utt, Kathy Peterson, Penny West, Shirley South, Jeanette Elliott and Jeanenne Elliott; two sisters, Pauline and Illa; two brothers, Jason and Carl; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde, and two sisters, Ruby and Beulah.

Ruby Borgeld Vaughn
Ruby Borgeld Vaughn, 79, of Talent, died Saturday (Jan. 15, 2000) at her home. No service is planned.
She was born Ruby Borgeld on Nov. 10, 1920, in Salisbury, Mo. She moved to the Rogue Valley 10 years ago from southern California.
Mrs. Vaughn worked as a bookkeeper in construction in California.
She enjoyed embroidery and sports on television.
Survivors include; a daughter, Jacqueline Switzer, Flagstaff, Ariz.; and a sister, Elizabeth Wiltcher, Salisbury, Mo. She was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Mae Gatterman in 1984.

Cleo A. Baker
The graveside service for Cleo A. Baker will be held Monday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. in Butte Falls Cemetery.
Mrs. Baker, 80 of Medford, died Thursday, (Jan. 20, 2000), in Medford.
She was born Cleo Arlene Richman on Jan. 22, 1919, in Troy, Ore., a daughter of Leonard C. and Myra M. (Braughton) Richman. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1959 from Long Beach, Calif. She lived in Butte Falls for 25 years, from 1927 to 1951.
In 1939 she married Robert F. Baker; they later divorced.
The Bakers owned and operated the Evergreen Grocery and Bob's Market in Butte Falls.
For 22 years she worked in the Budget Department of the U.S. Forest Service in its Rogue River District in Medford.
She enjoyed gardening, camping and rides in the country.
Survivors include, two sons, Daren E., White City, and Bruce, Klamath Falls; a sister, Zelda Edmondson, Medford; a brother, Manford C. Richman, Redding, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Charles J. Zmrhal
The memorial service for Charles J. Zmrhal will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Eagle Point National Cemetery. Bob Cassidy of the Marine Corps League, will officiate.
Mr. Zmrhal, 70, of Trail, died Jan. 15, at Hearthstone.
He was born June 10, 1929, in Omaha, Neb.
On June 7, 1968, in Winterhaven, Calif., he married Nadine Wright-Meyerhoff, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1987 from Palmdale, Calif.
Mr. Zmrhal served in the Marine Corps for 20 years as a crew chief in air transport. He worked for Lockheed Aircraft as a electrician.
He enjoyed fishing and pheasant hunting.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sisters, Patricia Hines, Waldorff, Md. and Garnett Walkowiak, Ord, Neb.

Mary Anna Penkert
The memorial mass for Mary Anna Penkert will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 25, 2000) in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford. Father Liam Cary will officiate. A private interment was held on Thursday, Jan. 20, at Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery in Portland.
Mrs. Penkert, 89, of Medford, died Jan. 15, 2000 at Three Fountains.
She was born on May 15, 1910, in Rock Springs, Wyo. She was a resident of the Rogue Valley for 15 years.
Mrs. Penkert worked as a ship welder and builder during World War II.
She was a member of sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Croatian Fraternal Union.
Survivors include a son, John, Medford; a sister, Manda Crofts, Portland; a brother, Tony Rukavina, Salt Lake City, Utah; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, and a sister, Eva.

Anna R. Schilken
The memorial service for Anna R. Schilken will be held at a later date in Minnesota.
Mrs. Schilken, 91, of Ashland, died Thursday (Jan. 20, 2000) at Ashland Community Hospital.
She was born Anna R. Petersen on May 11, 1908, in Harrison, S.D., a daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Jensen) Petersen.
On Nov. 24, 1926, in Minneapolis, Minn., she married Stanley S. Schilken, who preceded her in death, Sept. 26, 1983. She moved to Ashland in 1981 from Long Beach, Calif.
Survivors include a son, Stanley S. Schilken, Jr., Ashland; a daughter, Charlotte Ziegler, Coon Rapids, Minn; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 10 siblings.
