Ruth Ida Barnett
The graveside service for Ruth Ida Barnett will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Brownsboro Cemetery, Highway 140, Eagle Point. The Rev. Noel Murphy, of Truth Tabernacle in Medford, will officiate.
Mrs. Barnett, 82, of White City, died Tuesday (March 7, 2000) at her home.
She was born July 23, 1917, in Owasso, Okla., a daughter of Hughie and Eva Allison.
On July 7, 1958, in Reno, Nev., she married Bennie Barnett, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1963 from Eureka, Calif.
Mrs. Barnett was a cook for School District 549C.
She attended Pentecostal churches.
Mrs. Barnett enjoyed crocheting, bingo and reading the Bible.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include four daughters, Reba McCormick, Bonnie Bouslaugh and Casey Carvajal, all White City, and Gerry Griffen, Butte Falls; three sons, Howard Richardson, Butte Falls, Robert Richardson, Medford, and Benny R. Barnett, White City; two brothers, Todd Allison, Delano, Calif., and Dude Allison, Safford, Ariz.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives, 550 Business Park Drive, Medford.
Joan Maxine Puckett
The memorial service for Joan Maxine Puckett will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carriage Estate Mobile Park Clubhouse, 3955 S. Stage Road, Medford. Inurnment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford.
Mrs. Puckett, 79, of Medford, died Monday (March 6, 2000) at Providence Medford Medical Center.
She was born Joan Redmond on Feb. 18, 1921, in Anaconda, Mont.
Mrs. Puckett was a bookkeeper in the medical profession. She spent most of her life in the Klamath Basin. She had lived in the Rogue Valley for the past 10 years.
She enjoyed singing, dancing, crafts and gardening.
Survivors include a son, Douglas, Keno; two daughters, Kate Puckett, Selah, Wash., and Janet Puckett, Fort Collins, Colo.; a brother, Merrill Redmond, Crescent City, Calif.; three sisters, Geraldine Deter, Roseburg, and Marge Guse and Madge Brown, both Yuma, Ariz.; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gwen Marden, in 1996.

Walter L.W. Bird
Walter Leo William Bird, 69, of Medford, died Saturday (March 4, 2000) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. No service is planned.

He was born July 31, 1930, in Hawthorne, Calif.
On Feb. 19, 1969, in Hawthorne, Calif., he married Leah Hufford, who survives.
Mr. Bird worked for Douglas Aircraft for 18 years. He then worked in sales with Westinghouse for more than 20 years until his retirement. He moved to the Rogue Valley nine years ago from Hawthorne, Calif.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Mr. Bird was actively involved with the Boy Scouts as a cub scout, boy scout, eagle scout, leader and administrator for more than 60 years. He received the Boy Scouts of American Silver Beaver Award. He was also a member of the Oregon State Button Society.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include seven sons, Patrick, Thousand Oaks, Calif., Jammie, San Francisco, Scott, Everett, Wash., Robie, Huntington Beach, Calif., Shawn, Torrance, Calif., Todd, Lakeland, Fla., and Joel, Redondo Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Lucille Bird, Hawthorne, Calif., and Nalda Phillips, in Georgia; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and David.

Barbara Lee Zippi
The funeral Mass for Barbara Lee Zippi will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church in Central Point. The Rev. Jim Clifford will officiate. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Ms. Zippi, 61, of White City, died Thursday (March 9, 2000) at her home.

She was born July 27, 1938, in Bell, Calif.
Ms. Zippi was an administrative assistant for the Chamber of Commerce in Bell Gardens, Calif. She moved to the Rogue Valley eight years ago from Cudahy, Calif.
She was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church.
Ms. Zippi enjoyed arts and crafts, especially acrylic painting.
Survivors include her mother, Thelma Zippi, White City; four brothers, Russell, Medford; Richard and Mark, both White City, and Wayne, Balboa, Calif.; three sisters, Mary Zippi and Terry Zippi, both White City, and Ann Marcov, Long Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by her father, Gabriel Zippi, in 1989.

`Andy' Kranenburg
Adrianes "Andy" Kranenburg, 82, of Medford, died Saturday (March 4, 2000) in Talent. Private interment will be in Bakersfield, Calif. The family will officiate.
He was born May 19, 1917, in Corcoran, Calif., a son of Nicolaas and Lena (Schalk) Kranenburg.
On July 9, 1938, in Hynes, Calif., he married Rena Plasier, who died in 1991. He moved to the Rogue Valley from Fallbrook, Calif., in 1995.
Mr. Kranenburg was an owner and operator in the trucking industry.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard, Medford, and Kenny, Klamath Falls; a daughter, Darlene Dyck, Temecula, Calif.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Isabel F. Thomas
Isabel Florence Thomas, 83, of Ashland, died Sunday (March 5, 2000) at her home. No service is planned.

She was born Dec. 31, 1916, in Bonesteel, S.D.
After moving to the Rogue Valley in 1942, she and her husband, George Thomas, operated College Cleaners for 36 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Styers, Ashland, and Georgia Williams, Hawthorne, Calif.; two sons, George, Myrtle Creek, and Richard, Sacramento, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George Thomas; a daughter; and a grandson.

Bonnie Dell Robinson
Bonnie Dell Robinson, 71, of Grants Pass, died Saturday (March 4, 2000) at her home. No service is planned.
She was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Modesto, Calif., a daughter of Alwyn and Mildred Ingols.
On May 19, 1962, in Gardnerville, Nev., she married Joseph Robinson, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1989 from Hughson, Calif.
Mrs. Robinson was a classroom assistant volunteer at Fleming Middle School. She was also a volunteer at the Rogue River Senior Citizens Center.
She enjoyed games, fishing, camping and bowling.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Danny, Grants Pass, and Joey, Turlock, Calif.; two daughters, Sande Cougle, Grants Pass, and Vickie White, Reno, Nev.; a brother, Richard Ingols, Delhi, Calif.; two sisters, Evelyn Giddens, Merced, Calif., and Carole Shine, Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
