William Glenn Holden
The graveside service for William Glenn Holden will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Pastor Tim Shields of Rogue Valley Christian Church will officiate.
Mr. Holden, 59, of Medford, died Wednesday (May 10, 2000) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 20, 1940, in Grand Junction, Colo.
On June 9, 1990, in North Hollywood, Calif., he married Rose Lee Lockhart, who survives.
Mr. Holden was an insurance agent for the Independent Order of Foresters in Van Nuys, Calif., for nine years, retiring in June 1999. He moved to the Rogue Valley in November 1999 from Canyon Country, Calif.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958 to 1961.
Mr. Holden was a member of Victory Center Church of Christ in California and the Rogue Valley Christian Church in Medford.
He enjoyed golfing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Will, Pleasant Grove, Utah; two stepdaughters, Judy Lynn Lockhart, and Donna Ray Lockhart, both San Bernardino, Calif.; two sisters, Shirley Taylor, Mesquite, Texas, and Betty Coats, Burbank, Calif.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence F. Holden, in 1980; and his father, Glenn H. Holden, in 1999.

Margaret Lucille Orton
Margaret Lucille Orton, 79, of Grants Pass, died Monday (May 8, 2000) at her home. No service is planned.
She was born Oct. 13, 1920, in Saskatchewan, Canada, a daughter of Edward and Myrtle Nieman.
On May 6, 1952, in Everett, Wash., she married Donald Orton, who survives. They moved to Grants Pass in 1984 from Phoenix, Ariz.
Mrs. Orton enjoyed music.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include four sons, Donn, Grants Pass, Ralph, Mountain View, Calif., Glenn, St. Charles, Mo., and Wade, Phoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Joseph G. Antony
Joseph G. Antony, 63, of Eureka, Calif., formerly of Medford, died April 27, 2000, at his home. A private service was held in Shelter Cove, Calif. The Rev. David Groe officiated.

He was born June 25, 1936, in Lawton, Okla., a son of Dr. Joseph T. and Florence Arden Antony. He lived in Medford from 1944 to 1954, and graduated from Medford High School in 1954. He graduated from the University of Santa Clara in 1958, and the University of Oregon Medical School in 1963.
On Jan. 7, 1984, in Eureka, Calif., he married Cheryl Brick, who survives.
Dr. Antony was a pediatrician in Eureka, Calif.
He served in the U.S. Army for seven years.
Dr. Antony was a member of the Humboldt-Del Norte Medical Society, and was a representative of the Northern California Physicians Council.
He enjoyed dominoes and making walking sticks.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include five sons, Dr. Joseph G. Antony Jr., Eureka, Dr. Matthew Antony, Portland, Martin Antony, Sacramento, Calif., Dr. David Lundmark, Los Altos, Calif., and Andrew Lundmark, Fort Collins, Colo.; two daughters, Dr. Susan Antony Harris, Portland, and Dr. Jennifer Lundmark, Sacramento; a sister, Sherry Nutting, Portland; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul; and a sister, Terry Reich.

Beverly L. Lewis
The funeral for Beverly Louise Lewis will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memory Gardens Chapel in Medford. Dr. William McDonald of the First United Methodist Church, Medford, will officiate. The graveside service will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lewis, 61, of Medford, died Tuesday (May 9, 2000) at her home.

She was born Beverly Williams on Nov. 30, 1938, in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Leuzinger High School in Gardena, Calif.
On Sept. 5, 1959, in Gardena, Calif., she married Jerry Lewis, who survives.
Mrs. Lewis worked for Pacific Telephone Co. in Hawthorne, Calif., from 1956 to 1964. In the Rogue Valley she worked for the Southern Oregon Historical Society and the Made in Oregon store in the Rogue Valley Mall.
She was a member of the Valley Rogue Study Group, OSU Extension Service, F.C.E. Alumni, and was a Telephone Pioneer partner. She also belonged to the Ramblin' Rogues Square Dance Club from 1979 to 1992.
Mrs. Lewis attended the First United Methodist Church in Medford.
She enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Todd and Dale, both Medford; a stepdaughter, Kathy Jo Hughes, Central Point; her parents, Clyde and Kathy Williams, Gardena, Calif.; a brother, Don Williams, Albuquerque, N.M.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Memory Gardens Mortuary in Medford.
Laurance Wayne Burry
Laurance Wayne Burry, 70, of Medford, died Monday (May 8, 2000) at his home. No service is planned.
He was born May 25, 1929, in Alliance, Neb., a son of George John and Lois Bethel (Cass) Burry.
On June 30, 1951, in Chicago, he married Marilynn Jean DePung, who survives.
Mr. Burry was an iron worker. He moved to Oregon in 1997.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Lorry Lee Shlitter, Medford; three brothers, Bernard Burry, Costa Mesa, Calif., James Burry, Masonville, Colo., and Lynn Herdt, Scottsbluff, Neb.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lee, in 1996.

Richard Nathan Hall
The memorial service for Richard Nathan Hall will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Hall 41, of Grants Pass, died Sunday (May 7, 2000) at his home from a cancerous brain tumor.

He was born June 29, 1958, at Johnson Air Force Base in Japan. He graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1976.
Mr. Hall worked for Core Mark International in Grants Pass for 15 years.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a crew chief on the Black Hawk Helicopter.
Mr. Hall enjoyed hunting, fishing and prospecting for gold.
Survivors include his fiancee, Cindy Pagano; his mother, Anna M. Hall, Grants Pass, his grandmother, Claudine Seines, Grants Pass; a brother, Donald Lee, Talent; and a sister, Karen Marie Deitrich, Sacramento, Calif.

Robert Newton Roland
The graveside service for Robert Newton Roland will be at 4 p.m. today at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The Rev. John Braund of Rogue Valley Medical Center will officiate.
Mr. Roland, 84, of Medford, died Monday (May 8, 2000) at his home.

He was born June 30, 1915, in Kensett, Ark.
On Aug. 20, 1933, in Kensett, Ark., he married Hazel I. Thornton, who survives.
Mr. Roland was a steam engineer at Long Beach Memorial Hospital from 1964 until his retirement in 1979. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1979 from Long Beach, Calif.
He was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Charlotte Pierce, Klamath Falls, and Robbie Osterberg, Cambria, Calif.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
