Aleen G. Webster
The memorial service for Aleen G. Webster will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Trail Christian Fellowship.
Ms. Webster, 41, of Trail, died May 26, 2000 at her home.

She was born Nov. 7, 1958, in Orange, Calif. She graduated from Eagle Point High School in 1976 and attended Trend College for two years. She returned to the Rogue Valley from Eugene in 1991.
Ms. Webster was a baker and homemaker.
She enjoyed rock hunting, swimming, camping and fishing.
Survivors include her parents, Robert and Anita Webster, Trail; a daughter, Jessica Gaylord, Trail; a son, Chris Gaylord, Trail; a sister, Kathleen Wilson, Shady Cove; and a brother, Don Webster, San Jose, Calif.

Samuel F. Anderson
Samuel F. Anderson, 71, of Medford, died April 27, 2000, in Medford.
He was born Jan. 13, 1929, in Medford, a son of Donald F. and Hazel A. (Bish) Anderson.
Survivors include his cousin’s daughters, Heather M. Couillard and Judith A. MacLachlan, both in Canada.

Jean Catherine Weiss
The memorial service for Jean Catherine Weiss will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park. Pastor Dale Meador of Bear Creek Church will officiate.
Ms. Weiss, 80, of Medford, died Saturday (June 3, 2000) at her home.
She was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Philadelphia.
Ms. Weiss worked as a seamstress and as a proofreader.
She was a volunteer at Providence Medford Medical Center and was a member of the Medford Garden Club.
Ms. Weiss enjoyed crafts, sewing and reading.
Survivors include a daughter, Nina Wallace, Medford; a sister, Helen Hammond, Cape May, N.J.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Mucha.

Ralph Denney
Ralph Denney, 68, of Roseburg, formerly of Medford, died May 2, 2000, in Roseburg. A memorial service was held June 3 in Roseburg.

He was born Oct. 18, 1931, in Roseburg. He attended Medford schools, graduating in 1949. He also attended Oregon State University, where he studied wildlife science.
Mr. Denney worked for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife for 30 years.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Denney enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon, Roseburg; two sons, Steve, Roseburg, and Scott, Redmond; two daughters, Robin Denney, Portland, and Janet Critchett, Beaverton; three stepchildren; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife.

William E. DeHart
Dr. William E. DeHart, 68, of Fenton, Mich., formerly of Medford, died Feb. 22, 2000, in Fenton, Mich. The funeral was held Feb. 25 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fenton

He lived in Medford through the late 1940s, graduating from Medford Senior High in 1949. He attended what is now Southern Oregon State University and graduated from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1954.
Mr. DeHart was a podiatrist.
He served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force for five years.
Survivors include his wife, Donna, Fenton, Mich.; a son, William E. DeHart Jr., Fenton; two daughters, Laura, Fenton, and Lisa, Reno, Nev.; two stepdaughters; a sister, Marilyn White, Phoenix; and eight grandchildren.

Virginia Lucille Fisher
Virginia Lucille Fisher, 68, of Ashland, died May 26, 2000, in Ashland.

She was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Sacramento, Calif.
On March 19, 1976, in Reno, Nev., she married Ray Fisher, who survives. She moved to Ashland 10 years ago from Escondido, Calif.
Mrs. Fisher was a waitress.
She enjoyed gardening, horseback riding and jewelry making.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, David W. Ware, Hilo, Hawaii; and a daughter, Janette M. Hammons, Bakersfield, Calif..

Gladys Gresham
The graveside service for Gladys Gresham will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Medford. The Rev. Richard Kirk of Medford will officiate.
Mrs. Gresham, 84, of Medford, died Thursday (June 1, 2000) at her home.

She was born Gladys Penrod on Aug. 10, 1915, in Pinetop, Ariz.
On Aug. 19, 1934, in Miami, Ariz., she married Robert Gresham, who died in 1988. She moved to the Rogue Valley 41 years ago from Ukiah, Calif.
Mrs. Gresham was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Medford.
Mrs. Gresham enjoyed gardening, sewing, and fishing with her husband.
Survivors include a son, Phil, Medford; a sister, Carol Ann Gresham, Eugene; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary.

Joshua ‘Josh’ Hinze
The memorial service for Joshua "Josh" Hinze will be at 6 p.m. today at Evans Valley Bible Church. Pastor Mike Figueth will officiate.
Josh, 18, of Rogue River, died Thursday (June 1, 2000) in Rogue River, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born Nov. 16, 1981, in Medford, and lived in Rogue River all his life. He attended Evans Valley Elementary, Rogue River Middle School, and Rogue River High School and was graduating June 10, 2000.
Josh worked at Safeway on Williams Highway for one year. He had recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy.
He attended Evans Valley Bible Church.
Josh enjoyed motorcycle riding, paint balling, running cross country and track and hiking.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Mary Hinze, Rogue River; two sisters, Sara and Rachel Hinze, both Rogue River; his grandparents, Juline Lascinski, Rogue River, and Don and Nancy Hinze, Beaumont, Calif. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ben Larson and Charles Lascinski; and his grandmother, Ruth Hinze.
