Marie J. Davidson
Marie J. Davidson, 96, of Central Point, died Saturday (June 17, 2000) at her home. No local service is planned. Interment will be in Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
She was born Oct. 13, 1903, in Denmark, a daughter of Anton and Sorena (Sorenson) Nelson.
On July 6, 1935, in Moorhead, Minn., she married Harold F. Davidson, who died in 1992. She moved to the Rogue Valley from North Dakota in 1935.
Mrs. Davidson was a homemaker.
Survivors include a sister, Inga Shaw, Des Moines, Wash.

Harry F. Grimes Jr.
The memorial service for Harry Franklin Grimes Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Eagle Point National Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Olson and the American Legion Honor Guard will officiate.
Mr. Grimes, 75, of Medford, died Monday (June 19, 2000) at Medford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
He was born Sept. 1, 1924, in Blytheville, Ark., a son of Harry and Dollie-Mae (Ulm) Grimes.
On Feb. 3, 1945, in Santa Rosa, Calif., he married Jean L. Carr, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1955 from Blytheville.
Mr. Grimes was a mechanic at B&T Auto Body, retiring in 1993.
He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He also served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves from 1949 to 1953, and with the U.S. Arkansas National Guard from 1954 to 1955.
Mr. Grimes was a member of the Oregon Rifle Association and the National Rifle Association.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock hunting and traveling old back roads.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Lee F., Medford; a daughter, Bonny-Lee Doyle, Redding, Calif.; a brother, Ron L., Eagle Point; two sisters, Dollie Mae Krills, Glassport, Pa., and Mary-Ann Langley, Blytheville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Theodore ‘Ted’ Lampman
The funeral for Theodore "Ted" G. Lampman will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Memory Gardens Mortuary. The Rev. Stan Johnson of West Main Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mr. Lampman, 83, of Medford, died Monday (June 19, 2000) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
He was born May 27, 1917, in Butte, Neb.
In 1941, he married Dorothy Schroeder. They later divorced.
Mr. Lampman worked as an electrician with the government in California. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1962, and worked as an electrician at the Veterans Affairs Domiciliary in White City, retiring in 1972.
He served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
Mr. Lampman enjoyed gardening and building model trains.
Survivors include his companion, Sandra McConochie, Medford; four daughters, Loretta Poulin and Lynn Harper, both Medford, Betty Wegner, Portland, and Linda Schmidt, Pleasanton, Calif.; a son, Larry, Medford; a brother, Tony, Rockford, Ill.; a sister, Theresa Remmenga, Elwood, Neb.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Dorothy Lampman; six brothers and sisters; and two grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.
Michelle Marquis
Michelle Marquis, 70, of Medford, died Thursday (June 15, 2000) at Medford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. No service is planned.
She was born March 20, 1930, in Trinidad, Colo. She attended San Diego State College.
Ms. Marquis represented the United States in international competition in badminton in Australia. She also served as a badminton judge in the 1992 Olympics.
She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
She did volunteer work with youth in different sporting activities.

Charles George Himrich
The memorial service for Charles George Himrich will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home of Mike and Vickie Van De Walker in Grants Pass.
Mr. Himrich, 86, of Rogue River, died Friday (June 16, 2000) at his home.
He was born April 8, 1914, in Fessenden, N.D.
On July 16, 1937, in Fessenden, he married Bertha Pauline Henne, who survives. He moved to Grants Pass from North Dakota in 1949.
Mr. Himrich was a mechanic and service station attendant with Larry’s Chevron in Grants Pass for many years.
He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Vickie Van De Walker, Grants Pass; a son, Ron, San Mateo, Calif; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon King, in 1997, and five sisters.

Rose M. Garrett
Rose M. Garrett, 86, of Medford, died Thursday (June 15, 2000) in Medford. No service is planned.

She was born Rose Maxine Miller on July 16, 1913, in Spokane, Wash.
On June 20, 1941, she married Leland G. Garrett, who died in 1991. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1948 from Southern California.
Mrs. Garrett enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy L. Callahan, Medford; a sister, Viola Krantz, Sacramento, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Naomi B. Longan
The memorial service for Naomi B. Longan will be at noon today at Victory Christian Center in Medford. Pastor Bob Longan will officiate. Inurnment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford.

She was born April 30, 1924, in Greeneville, Tenn., a daughter of Carl and Eva (Russell) Gibson.
She married James O. Longan, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1951 from Jerome, Idaho.
Mrs. Longan was a homemaker.
She enjoyed gardening and growing roses.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Linda Wells, Medford, and Dori Glockler, Gold Hill; two sons, Dean Hansen, Eugene, and Steve Hansen, Payson, Ariz.; a sister, K. Fern Minor, Medford; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Hansen, and a daughter, Loretta Hansen.
