Anna E. Fellows
The funeral for Anna E. Fellows will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Conger-Morris Chapel in Medford. Pastor Jack Crumm of Central Point Christian Fellowship will officiate. Private interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford.
Mrs. Fellows, 88, of Medford, died Friday (July 7, 2000) in Medford.

She was born Anna Elise Noble on May 8, 1912, in Sumner, Neb.
On Dec. 8, 1932, in Kearney, Neb., she married John F. Fellows, who died in 1991. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1942 from Amherst, Neb.
Mrs. Fellows worked for Myron Root Packing House in Medford, Warner’s Gladiola Bulbs in Jacksonville, and at a cutstock and molding plant in White City. She retired in 1977.
She was a longtime member of Central Point Assembly of God.
Mrs. Fellows enjoyed attending sessions of an old-time fiddlers’ group and working as a volunteer reading poetry at nursing homes.
Survivors include four daughters, Ardis Crumm and JoAnn Martin, both Medford, Kay Jones, Central Point, and Charlotte Lemley, Roseburg; a son, LeRoy Fellows, Rock Hill, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son and three brothers.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Conger-Morris Funeral Directors, Medford.
M. Lorraine Wasden
The funeral for Margaret Lorraine Wasden will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brookhurst Building, Medford. Bishop John Vial will officiate. Private committal will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mrs. Wasden, 96, of Medford, died Saturday (July 8, 2000) at Three Fountains Nursing Center.
She was born Margaret Lorraine Raymond on July 8, 1904, in Glen, Idaho. She graduated from Utah State University.
On June 18, 1930, in Logan, Utah, she married Brooks F. Wasden, who survives.
Mrs. Wasden was a cook at schools and hospitals, including Rogue Valley Medical Center. She was also a master piano teacher, having taught for more than 30 years.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she was a chorister for more than 30 years.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, David, Petaluma, Calif., Douglas, Las Vegas, and James "Jim, " Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter, Margaret "Mardy" Condie, Eugene; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Melvin ‘Mike’ Pinheiro
Melvin "Mike" Mitchell Pinheiro, 39, of Crescent City, Calif., formerly of Medford, died July 2, 2000, in Crescent City.
He was born Oct. 14, 1960, in Medford. He graduated from North Medford High School and lived in Medford most of his life. He moved to Crescent City six months ago.
Survivors include a brother, Calvin, Medford; four sisters, Linda Estrada and Gina Pinheiro, both Medford, and Sandra Miles and Melva Dunston, both Central Point. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Pinheiro; his mother Minne (Mabry) Pinheiro; a sister, Starla Haney; and two brothers, Bill and Johnny Pinheiro.

Perry Lee Roy Barger
Perry Lee Roy "Shuflebarger" Barger, 64, of Wimer, died Friday (July 7, 2000) at his home. No service is planned.

He was born March 30, 1936, in Keno. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1938 and attended school in Ashland. In the eighth grade, he worked for George Nichols in the honey business, moving bees. In 1954, his family moved to Grants Pass.
Mr. Barger worked at Bryant Shell Service Station in Ashland and for Linegar Sand and Gravel. He also volunteered to work on a forest fire in California. He moved to the Wimer area in 1972.
He served in the U.S. Army for two years during the Berlin crisis. His service included radio, teletype, telephone, Morse code and motor pool, first at Ford Ord, Calif., and then at Fort Lewis, Wash.
Mr. Barger enjoyed hunting, fishing, panning for gold and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include a sister, Gladys Bass; and four brothers, Laurence, Marvin, Kenneth and Ray William. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Thomas E. Devine Kelly
The memorial service for Thomas "Tommy" Erin Devine Kelly will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home. AA non-alcoholic Irish wake at the home of his parents will follow the service.
Mr. Kelly, 17, of Phoenix, died Jan. 26, 1999.

He was born June 1, 1981, in Ashland, a son of Thomas E. and Victoria L. Kelly.
He attended Phoenix-Talent schools, Faith Tabernacle School and Sacred Heart School.
He played football and wrestled for Phoenix High School.
He enjoyed being with friends, spending time with his dog, Screwball, snow-boarding and BMX bike riding.
Survivors include his parents, Phoenix; a brother, Gabriel; a sister, Dannielle Trotter; and his grandparents, Lucille Harell, Ashland, and Richard and Sylvia Long, Rancho Mirage, Calif.

Janet J. Mason
Janet J. Mason, 72, of Medford, died Sunday (July 9, 2000) at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford. Private family services will be held.
She was born Janet Ainsworth on Feb. 5, 1928, in Taft, Calif. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Fresno, Calif., in 1971.
On Jan. 14, 1950, at Santa Barbara, Calif., she married Scott Mason, who survives.
Mrs. Mason worked as a nurse at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, retiring in 1994.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Mark Mason of Medford; a daughter, Terry Winstead of Mountain View, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Dorothy ‘Tommy’ Thompson
The graveside service for Dorothy M. "Tommy" Thompson will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford.
Mrs. Thompson, 87, of Medford, died Wednesday (July 5, 2000) in Medford.

She was born Dorothy M. Seaman on Feb. 10, 1913, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Ms. Thompson was a nurse’s aide at Providence Medford Medical Center from 1950 to 1990.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford.
Ms. Thompson enjoyed animals, especially cats, crossword puzzles, crocheting and reading.
Survivors include four daughters, Marionann Kaufman, Jacqueline B. Ballard and Debbie Corcoran, all Medford, and Carol Burgess, Gold Hill; a son, Arnold C. Thompson, Burlington, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Eva Catherine Richardson
The funeral for Eva Catherine Richardson will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gold Hill Ward, 2305 Taylor Road, in Central Point. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford.
Mrs. Richardson, 90, of Gold Hill, died Thursday (July 6, 2000) in Gold Hill.
She was born Eva Catherine McGuire on March 24, 1910. She moved to Los Angeles in 1938.
On May 9, 1939, in Los Angeles, she married Ralph Lee "Mike" Richardson, who died in 1991. They lived in the Los Angeles area for 32 years. Following her husband’s retirement, they moved to Pismo Beach, Calif., and then to Gold Hill in 1983.
Mrs. Richardson was active in church activities and organizations, in the Gold Hill Grange, where she was chaplain for many years, and in her bowling league.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis, Central Point, and David, Lake Forest, Calif.; two daughters, Donna Richardson, Gold Hill, and Doris Skelton, Tustin, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at the LDS church in Central Point.
