Lloyd A. Hornbeck
The graveside service for Lloyd A. Hornbeck will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Siskiyou Memorial Park.
Mr. Hornbeck, 89, of Medford, died Tuesday (Aug. 29, 2000) at his home.

He was born Sept. 18, 1910, in Haines.
On Dec. 31, 1937, in Portland, he married Mary Adele Ciccarelli, who survives.
Mr. Hornbeck was a sales representative with James River Paper Co. of Portland for 40 years, retiring in 1967.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Hornbeck was a member of the Medford Elks and the Disabled American Veterans.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and reading about the Old West and Oregon history.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Mike, Medford; a daughter, Donna Oldfield, Newark, Calif.; a brother, Sam, Baker City; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Opal Bonney, in 1976.

Elizabeth C. Fenger
The memorial service for Elizabeth C. Fenger will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church in Ashland. Pastor Scott Dalgarno will officiate. Inurnment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Omaha, Neb.
Mrs. Fenger, 89, of Ashland, died Wednesday (Aug. 30, 2000) in Ashland.

She was born July 30, 1911, in Eugene, the daughter of Henry B. and Mary Luella Grubb.
Mrs. Fenger was the manager of Bible Book Store in Omaha, Neb. She moved to Jacksonville in 1984 from Nebraska.
She was a member of the Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, the Jacksonville Quilters, and the Jacksonville Museum.
Mrs. Fenger enjoyed traveling and playing the part of Mrs. Beekman at the Beekman House in Jacksonville.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Sprague, Papillion, Neb.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Fenger.

Wilma L. Edwards
The cryptside service for Wilma Lorraine Edwards will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mrs. Edwards, 75, of Medford, died Tuesday (Aug. 29, 2000) at her home.

She was born Wilma Bales on Feb. 21, 1925, in Baker.
On June 7, 1951, at Carson City, Nev., she married Don Edwards, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1954 from Tillamook.
Mrs. Edwards graduated from McMinnville High School in 1943. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed crocheting hats for hospitalized children in Mexico and Medford. She was a member of the Adarel Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, serving as Worthy Matron in 1964. She was past Grand Representative to Indiana.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Susan Slack, Ashland; a son, Garth Edwards, Portland; and two grandchildren.

Marie S. LeLacheur
The graveside service for Marie S. LeLacheur will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Scenic Hills Memorial Park. The Rev. Nevitt Smith will officiate.
Mrs. LeLacheur, 81, of Ashland, died Saturday (Aug. 26, 2000) at Jackson House in Talent.

She was born Dec. 6, 1918, in Blackfoot, Idaho, a daughter of James Christiansen and Lora Rein. She graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1937, from Colorado Women’s College in Denver in 1939, and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1942. She received a master’s degree in pipe organ from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1946.
On Feb. 21, 1948, in Detroit, she married Frederick D. LeLacheur, who died in 1990. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1972, and lived in Ashland.
Mrs. LeLacheur was a church organist in Ashland and in Detroit.
She was a member of the American Guild of Organists and Sigma Alpha Iota.
Survivors include a son, Thomas, Ashland; a daughter, Irene Ey, Hopewell, N.J.; two sisters, Margaret Christiansen, South Lake Tahoe, and Joan Johnson, Berryton, Kan.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Jane Talos
The memorial service for Jane Talos will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Medford.
Ms. Talos, 43, of Talent, died Sunday (Aug. 27, 2000) in an automobile accident on Hanley Road.
She was born Feb. 19, 1957, in Wisconsin, and had lived in the Rogue Valley for many years.
Ms. Talos owned a home daycare business for more than 10 years.
She was an active member of New Song Fellowship in Phoenix.
Ms. Talos enjoyed spending time with her children, gardening and landscaping, sewing and interior decorating.
Survivors include her son, Eli; her daughter, Hannah; two sisters, Joan and Judy; and one brother, Jim.

Margaret ‘Margot’ Fluhrer
Margaret "Margot" Fluhrer, 103, of Medford, died Tuesday (Aug. 29, 2000) at her home. No service is planned.

She was born Jan. 31, 1897 in Duluth, Minn., a daughter of Albert and Lena Ames. She moved to Medford in 1913 and graduated from Ashland High School in 1916. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1925.
On Dec. 12, 1930, in Medford, she married William "Heine" Fluhrer, who died in 1948.
Mrs. Fluhrer owned and operated Fluhrer Bakery.
She was the first woman on the board of Rogue Valley Medical Center and was a member of the Colony Club.
Mrs. Fluhrer was an avid reader. She enjoyed sculpting and world travel.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucile, Constance and Eleanor Ames.
