Donald Adam Neatrour
The graveside service for Donald Adam Neatrour will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point. Pastor Dick Leithner of Foots Creek Chapel will officiate.
Mr. Neatrour, 80, of Rogue River, died Monday (March 13, 2000) at his home.
He was born on Sept. 12, 1919, in Johnstown, Pa. He moved to Oregon in 1983 from Blythe, Calif.
On Nov. 24, 1977, in Las Vegas, he married his wife, Shirley, who died in 1983.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling, hunting and baseball.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Cubick of Arbondale, Fla.; a step daughter, Wende Sanchez of Milwaukie, Ore.; a stepson, John Stadelmeyer of Denton, Md.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Jack `Duane' Johnson
The graveside service for Jack "Duane" Johnson will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Pastor Everett Denniston of Merlin Community Church will officiate.
Mr. Johnson, 75, of Medford, died Wednesday (March 15, 2000) at Washoe Medical Center in Reno, Nev.

He was born June 14, 1924, in Dodge City, Kan., a son of Lee Edwin and Jessie L. (Dismukes) Johnson.
On Dec. 24, 1947, in Ketchum, Idaho, he married Betty Frances Shipp, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley from Idaho in 1965.
Mr. Johnson was an auto dealer in the automotive retail sales industry. He retired as the owner of Motor City of Phoenix, Inc.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. Johnson was a local Mail Tribune carrier.
He attended a YMCA aerobic class and enjoyed traveling and family activities.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Greg, Medford, and Gary, Grants Pass; a daughter, Pam Schwietert, Grants Pass; and six grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, Medford.
Phyllis F. Rice
The memorial Mass for Phyllis Florence Rice will be at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church in Central Point. Private interment will be in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mrs. Rice, 82, formerly of Ashland, died Wednesday (March 15, 2000) at Rogue Valley Medical Center, Medford.

She was born Jan. 30, 1918, in Sauk Rapids, Minn., a daughter of Burtis I. and Loretta C. (Putz) Frederick. She graduated from Oneida High School in Oneida, N.Y.
On Oct. 9, 1937, in Minneapolis, she married Anthony Rice, who died in 1990. They lived in Rome, N.Y., for many years before moving to Ashland in 1951. In 1952, they moved to Crescent City, Calif., and returned to Ashland in 1974. She moved to Medford in 1996.
Mrs. Rice was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church in Central Point and was active in the Legion of Mary.
She enjoyed bingo, her friends and family gatherings.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Grenbemer, Medford; a brother, Richard Frederick, Crescent City, Calif.; a sister, Marie Ratnour, Crescent City, Calif.; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Brian, in 1999; a brother, William Frederick; and a sister, Maxine Gradwell.

Theodore `Ted' Coy
The funeral for Theodore "Ted" Coy will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Central Point Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Pastor George White will officiate.
Mr. Coy, 96, of Central Point, died Thursday (March 16, 2000) at his home.
He was born Oct. 13, 1903, in Clayton, Wash., a son of James and Ida Mae (Skinner) Coy.
On July 8, 1949, in Medford, he married Lillian Rachel Putnam, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley from Roseburg in 1963.
Mr. Coy was a logger in the timber industry for over 50 years. He was a faller and had two of his own trucks. In Roseburg, he was the head faller.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Coy was a member of the Central Point Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include four sons, Lee and David, both Central Point, Marvin, Eagle Point, and Darrel, Klamath River, Calif.; four daughters, Sherryl Parliament, Central Point, Lynell Staten, Butte Falls, Jolene Hutchinson, Klamath Falls, and Donna Dykes, Spokane, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
Friends may pay their respects Monday after the service at the Central Point Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Ethel P. Hulse
The funeral for Ethel P. Hulse will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Central Valley Chapel in Central Point. Pastor David Humphreys of the First Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hulse, 99, of Medford, died Thursday (March 16, 2000) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
She was born March 19, 1900, in Hico, Texas, a daughter of Andrew and Era Patterson. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Alpine, Texas in 1965.
On Jan. 5, 1976, in Phoenix, she married Alfred Hulse, who survives.
Mrs. Hulse was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the First Church of Christ in Phoenix.
Mrs. Hulse enjoyed sewing, flower gardening and pets.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a stepdaughter, Sharon Mann, Medford; two brothers, Hershel Patterson and S.E. Patterson, both Hico, Texas; two sisters, Era Sneed, Medford, and Louise Hughes, Corpus Christi, Texas; five step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two stepsons, David and Donald Hulse; a stepdaughter, Betty Heilman; a brother, Velta Patterson; a sister, Flora Roberson; and one step-great-grandson.
Friends may pay their respects from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Central Valley Chapel, Central Point.
Carrie Opal Golden
The graveside service for Carrie Opal Golden will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pastor Lee Gregory of the Neighborhood Church, Medford, will officiate.
Mrs. Golden, 97, of Phoenix, died Thursday (March 16, 2000) at her home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1902, in Nebraska, a daughter of Willard and Estelle Fisher.
In June 1922, in North Platte, Neb., she married James H. Golden, who died in 1980. She moved to Oregon in 1943 from Vancouver, Wash.
Mrs. Golden was a homemaker.
She was a member of Moose Lodge No. 178.
Mrs. Golden enjoyed homemaking, and travel, especially to Reno.
Survivors include three sons, Donald, Phoenix, Gerald, Medford, and Raymond, Central Point; a daughter, Marlene McComb, Medford; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, LaVonne Fox.
