Victor D. Goll
The committal service for Victor D. Goll will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Lawncrest Chapel and Memorial Park, Redding, Calif. Pastor Kris Widmer of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Redding will officiate.
Mr. Goll, 81, of Medford, died Friday (March 24, 2000) at his home.
He was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Escondido, Calif.
On Oct. 22, 1945, in Reno, Nev., he married Lola Leighton, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1952 from Red Bluff, Calif.
Mr. Goll was a station agent for United Airlines for 24 years. He also worked as a custodian for Medford 549C School District for 16 years.
During World War II, he was a flight radio operator in the South Pacific aboard large aircraft attached to United Air in A.T.C. (Air Transport Command).
Mr. Goll was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He enjoyed talking on his ham radio.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Edward, Medford; a daughter, Beverly Henderson, Medford; two sisters, Dorothy McRae and Ruby Lee Martin, both Redding, Calif.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

William D. Christie Sr.
The memorial service for William D. Christie Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Blue Spruce Mobile Estates, 3700 Bellinger Lane, Medford.
Mr. Christie, 70, of Medford, died Saturday (March 25, 2000) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Belleville, Kan.
On Aug. 30, 1950, in Medford, he married Doris Imhausen, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley from Kansas in 1937.
Mr. Christie was a mill worker for KOGAP Manufacturing for 33 years. He also worked as a maintenance person at the Expo and managed Blue Spruce Mobile Estates in Medford.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Christie enjoyed fishing, camping, family gatherings and watching sports.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, William Jr., and Joe, both Medford, and Gene, Eagle Point.; a daughter, Connie Mockry, Eagle Point; a sister, Marjery Turnbull, Willamina; two brothers, Walter, Gold Hill, and Don, Central Point; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Burnette; and four brothers, Grant, Marvin, Raymond and Robert.

Lily Mae Williams
The memorial service for Lily Mae Williams will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams, 70, of Central Point, died Friday (March 24, 2000) at her home.

She was born June 16, 1929, in Webster, N.Y., a daughter of John Philip and Pearl Lillian Gascon.
On July 18, 1948, in Reno, she married Jack Melvin Williams, who died in 1975.
Mrs. Williams was a packer in the rose department at Bear Creek Corp. from 1975 to 1995.
She enjoyed cats, crafts, walking and family gatherings.
Survivors include two sons, Jordan, Portland, and Dwayn, San Francisco; two sisters, Arlene Rosecrans, Gold Hill, and Elsie Aardal, Rogue River.

Louise Johnston
The graveside service for Louise Johnston will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford.
Mrs. Johnston, 81, of Jacksonville, died Saturday (March 25, 2000) at Providence Medford Medical Center.
She was born Louise Smith on Sept. 10, 1918, in Pueblo, Colo.
On Aug. 14, 1937, in Medford, she married Paul E. Johnston, who died in 1975. She lived in the Rogue Valley most of her life.
Mrs. Johnston was the receiving manager at Black Bird for several years. She was also a homemaker.
She enjoyed reading, sewing and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet Stewart and Joyce Owen, both Jacksonville, and Jane Nishizaki, Portland; a brother, Jake Smith, Eugene; a sister, Geraldine Foland, Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

John William Douglas
The memorial service for John William Douglas will be at 2 p.m. today in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Douglas, 53, of Central Point, died Thursday (March 23, 2000) in an auto accident in Union Creek.
Among his survivors not listed in Sunday's obituary are two step-brothers, Ron Sferrazzo, in Washington, and Joe Sferrazzo, San Jose, Calif.

Ruth Anne Fernandez
The funeral for Ruth Anne Fernandez will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Crossroads Christian Church in Vacaville, Calif. Pastor Jon Corson of Applegate Christian Fellowship will officiate.
Miss Fernandez, 16, of Jacksonville, died Thursday (March 23, 2000) in an auto accident.

She was born Dec. 13, 1983, in Vallejo, Calif. She moved with her family to Jacksonville two years ago.
She was a sophomore at South Medford High School and a member of Applegate Christian Fellowship, where she was active in the youth ministry. She was family-oriented, and her cousins were her best friends.
She enjoyed writing poetry, painting in oils, drawing in charcoal and making photographs.
Survivors include her parents, Matthew and Deneen Fernandez; a sister, Lisa Courtney, Vacaville; two brothers, Paul Fernandez, Eugene, Micah Fernandez, Brentwood, Calif.; her grandparents, Annie Fernandez, Fairview, Calif., and Melvin and Jeaneen Dean, Clear Lake, Calif., a great-grandmother, Maizie Dean, Clear Lake; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Carroll Fernandez, and her mother, Robin Fernandez.
