Evelyn Shannon Milne
The memorial service for Evelyn Shannon Milne will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Medford. Private interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford.
Mrs. Milne, 85, of Medford, died Saturday (Oct. 14, 2000) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

She was born on Oct. 29, 1914, in Highwood, Mont. On Feb. 4, 1940, in Billings, Mont., she married Stewart B. Milne, who survives. She moved to Medford in 1951 from Grand Forks, N.D.
Mrs. Milne was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Medford, and a member of the PEO Sisterhood Chapter C.G.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Gary, Lake Oswego, and Mark, Wausau, Wis.; a brother, John Shannon, Garden Valley, Idaho; a sister, Lillian Heaton, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Cecil Theodore Snyder
The funeral for Cecil Theodore Snyder will be at 1 p.m. today at the Central Valley Chapel in Central Point. Rev. Craig Rench of the First Church of the Nazarene, Medford will officiate.
Mr. Snyder, 87, of Talent, died Saturday (Oct. 14, 2000) at Rogue Valley Hospital.
He was born Sept. 17, 1913, in Sapulpa, Okla., a son of Theodore and Carrie Snyder. On Aug. 21, 1937, in Pasadena, Calif., he married Ruth Karli, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley 10 years ago from Pasadena, Calif.
Mr. Snyder worked as a tile pressman for Glading McBean Tile Co., in Glendale, Calif., and as a building maintenance man for a property management company.
He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Snyder enjoyed golf and gardening.
In addition to his wife, survivors include; a son, David T., of Fair Oaks, Calif.; a sister, Olpha Shafer, Cloride, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from noon to 1 p.m. today at Central Valley Chapel.
Marguerite E. Biles-Oden
The memorial service for Marguerite Elizabeth Biles-Oden will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at Hillcrest Chapel, Medford. Ted Walden will officiate.
Mrs. Biles-Oden, 88, of Grants Pass, died Sunday (Oct. 15, 2000) at Three Rivers Hospital-Dimmick, Grants Pass.
She was born on July 5, 1912, in Medford, a daughter of Thomas and Bertha Morrison Wyatt. On Sept. 10, 1975, in Reno, Nev., she married Ben Oden. He died in 1978. She was a lifetime resident of the Rogue Valley, living in Klamath Falls from 1974 to 1990, when she moved to Grants Pass.
Mrs. Biles-Oden was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Klamath Falls Senior Swingers.
Mrs. Biles-Oden enjoyed gardening, cooking, camping and sightseeing at the Klamath Refuge.
Survivors include a son, Jim, Grants Pass; a daughter, Lois Walden, Wasilla, Alaska; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Veltie Biles in 1972 and Ben Oden in 1978; a son, Richard Biles of Grants Pass, in 1989, two sisters, her identical twin, Mildred Seaver, in 1998 and Jean Burreson, and two brothers, Thomas and Ray Wyatt.

Donald F. Razey
The memorial service for Donald F. Razey will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Grace Baptist Church, Rogue River. Private committal will be at Woodville Cemetery in Rogue River.
Mr. Razey, 74, of Rogue River, died Saturday (Oct. 14, 2000) at Three Rivers Community Hospital’s Washington Campus.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home, Grants Pass.

He was born Nov. 29, 1925, in Cambridge, Mass.
In 1982, in Wilmington, Mass, he married Ilene M. Anderson, who survives. He moved to the Rogue River area in 1984 from Wilmington.
Mr. Razey served as a radioman in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He worked as a firefighter for 25 years in Wilmington. He also worked as a stock clerk for Studebaker Sales Corp. and for Cory Food Products.
Mr. Razey was a charter member of the Grace Bible Church in Rogue River, and a member of the Southern Oregon Live Steamers.
He enjoyed trains.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Karen Johnson, Gold Hill, and Elaine Breen, Hugo; a son, Stephen, Bradford, Mass; a stepdaughter, Peggy Moore, Rogue River; three stepsons, Jerry and Troy Anderson, both of Bakersfield, Calif., and Steve Anderson, Linwood, Wash.; and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris in 1973; a son, Donald, in April 1985, and a granddaughter.

Lue ‘Louie’ L. Lee
The memorial service for Lue L. Lee will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Rev. Paul Hagedorn will officiate. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mr. Lee, 88, of Medford, died Monday, (Oct. 16, 2000) in Medford.

He was born Nov. 11, 1911, in Canton, China, a son of Mui Non Lee and Yee Lee. He immigrated to the United States with his father as a young boy. He lived in Idaho and Washington, where he attended school.
On May 1, 1945, in Vancouver, Wash., he married Phyllis Jean Coons. She died in 1984. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1953.
Mr. Lee served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He owned and operated the Base Line Super Market in Portland, and worked as lounge manager and bartender for Kim’s Restaurant for 45 years.
Mr. Lee enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, yard work and golf.
Survivors include two sons, Art, Central Point and Jin Wan, San Francisco; two daughters, Janet Shipley, Roseburg, Hong Chun Lee, San Francisco; three sisters, Gene Lee, Medford, Pearl Wong, Portland, and Lin Yin Lee, San Francisco; three brothers, Charles, Benny and Jack all of Portland; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a infant son, David.

LeRoy Walter Groom
LeRoy Walter Groom, 66, of Central Point, died Monday (Oct. 16, 2000) at Providence Medford Medical Center. A private service will be held.
He was born on Feb. 10, 1934, in Pingree, Idaho, a son of Floyd and Harriet (Rever) Groom. On Nov. 23, 1973, in Medford he married Roswitha Klabuhn, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley 30 years ago from Pingree, Idaho.
Mr. Groom worked as a dryer puller at Timber Products for 25 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Mr. Groom enjoyed fishing.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Monica Zlatek, Central Point, and Petra Denton, Hawaii; a son, Ralf Potfeld, Los Angeles; a brother, Ralph, Boise, Idaho and a sister, Mona Hansen, Central Point; and two grandchildren.

Elmer Glen Brock
The graveside service for Elmer Glen Brock will be at 1 p.m. today at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Rev. Paul Hagedorn of Providence Hospice will officiate.
Mr. Brock, 87, of Medford, died Sunday, (Oct. 14, 2000) at Hearthstone Manor, Medford.

He was born on May 13, 1913, in Wilson, Kan. On May 18, 1938, in Lomita, Calif., he married Glendora Beatrice Brock. She died Aug. 27, 2000. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1972 from Lomita.
Mr. Brock served in the U.S Navy for 20 years during World War II and the Korean War. He worked for the Los Angeles School District until his retirement in 1971.
He was a member of the Christian Church, and he and his wife were the camp hosts at Fish Lake campgrounds.
Mr. Brock enjoyed fishing, traveling and sports.
Survivors include two brothers, George of Topeka, Kan., and Marvin, Cross Timbers, Mo.; and a sister, Edna Marie Gott, Bullhead City, Ariz.
