Marjorie Ellen Brazil
The memorial service for Marjorie Ellen Brazil will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Phoenix Church of Christ. Pastor Dick Stitt of the United Church of God will officiate.
Mrs. Brazil, 93, of Medford, died Sunday (Nov. 19, 2000) at Providence Medford Medical Center.
She was born Marjorie Ellen Sauer on Dec. 17, 1906, in Abilene, Kan. On Oct. 19, 1945, in Gering, Neb., she married Moses Brazil, who preceded her in death. She lived in the Rogue Valley for 53 years.
Mrs. Brazil was a member of the United Church of God.
She enjoyed quilting and needlework, gardening, fishing and traveling.
Survivors include a son, Alfred Hines, Medford; a brother, Bernard Sauer, Gold Beach; a sister, Louella Fitch, Talent; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Jean Evans, in 1987; a son, Richard L. Hines, in 1944; and her husbands, Richard Hines, in 1968, and Moses Brazil.

Cynthia Lynne Reeves
Cynthia Lynne Reeves, 39, of Grants Pass, died Nov. 14, 2000, as the result of an automobile accident. The memorial service was held Monday, Nov. 20, at Hull and Hull Chapel. Pastor Dan O’Donnell officiated.
She was born April 15, 1961, in Castro Valley, Calif.
Ms. Reeves was a beautician at Supercuts in California. She also worked for Costco in California.
After moving to Grants Pass from San Jose, Calif., in 1993, she worked for WDS, the company that does demos for Costco. She also worked for Farmer’s Market in Grants Pass.
Survivors include two daughters, Crystal and Melissa Reeves, both Grants Pass; her parents, Bill and Sandra Bell, Grants Pass; her grandmother, Hilma Tomasini, Grants Pass, her grandfathers, Clyde Cruse, Boise, Idaho, and Cecil Hicks, Salinas, Okla.; her sister, Kay Cowan, Rocklin, Calif.; and one granddaughter.

Eva Gertrude Nichols
The private cryptside service for Eva G. Nichols will be today at the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Scenic Hills Memorial Park in Ashland.
Mrs. Nichols, 79, of Eagle Point, died Sunday (Nov. 19, 2000) at her home.
She was born Aug. 23, 1921, in Enid, Okla., a daughter of Franklin Elwell Pearce and Alice Ida Brookshire. On Jan. 25, 1939, in Albany, Mo., she married Robert Floyd Nichols, who survives.
They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1948 from Peru, Iowa and owned the Maytag Shop and Laundromat in Ashland from 1959 to 1965.
Mrs. Nichols enjoyed her family and cooking for them.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Bobby D., Eagle Point; a daughter, Phyllis Ann Lovett, Eagle Point; three sisters, Louella Hess, Leon Iowa, Lauricean Oakland, Moline, Ill., and Mable Atkinson, Walnut Creek, Calif.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Geraldine Shults-Bulthuis
Geraldine Mae Shults-Bulthuis, 72 of Camas Valley, died Saturday (Nov. 18, 2000) in Roseburg. No service is planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to any hospice center.
She was born Geraldine Reiten on March 30, 1928, in Reno, Nev. She lived in the Rogue Valley most of her life.
She enjoyed sight-seeing.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Johnson; two sons, Randy Shults and John Shults; two daughters, Bonnie Seargent and Betty Chesnut; her mother, Velna Reiten; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Shults, two husbands, Tom Bulthuis and John Shults; and a sister, Betty Morrison.

William Lundy Fuller
William Lundy Fuller, 83, of Medford, died Tuesday (Nov. 21, 2000) in Medford. Private inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, Calif.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Flights Ambulance Service, 3650 Biddle Road, Medford, OR 97504, or a favorite charity.
He was born Feb. 11, 1917, in San Jose, Calif., the son of William and Eva Fuller.
Mr. Fuller worked for Food and Machinery Corporation (FMC) in San Jose from 1958-1978. He lived in Yreka, Calif. from 1978 to 1996, when he moved to the Rogue Valley.
He was a member of the Montague Rotary Club and the Weed Golf Course.
Mr. Fuller was an avid golfer.
Survivors include two sons, Loren M., White City, and Gary L., Auburn, Calif.; a daughter, Diane E. Larsen, Cotati, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Ida May Blunt
The funeral for Ida May Blunt will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, in the Hillcrest Chapel. Pastor Stan Johnson of West Main Church of Christ will officiate.
Mrs. Blunt, 91, of Medford died Tuesday (Nov. 21, 2000) at a private foster home in Medford.
She was born Ida May Hurd on May 5, 1909, in Grants Pass, a daughter of Charles and Ida Hurd.
On Aug. 16, 1930, in Grants Pass she married Arthur L. Blunt, who died in 1976. She lived in the Rogue Valley all of her life.
Mrs. Blunt enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and reading
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Jones, Medford; two grand children; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers, and one sister.

Olen Risner
Olen Risner, 83, of Medford, died Wednesday (Nov. 22, 2000) at Hearthstone Manor. No service is planned.

He was born on Jan. 16, 1917, in Russett, Okla. On June 18, 1938, in Marietta, Okla., he married LaWana Overstreet, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1946 from White Sands, N.M.
Mr. Risner was in charge of a German POW Camp at Camp House, Texas, during World War II. He worked as a painting contractor and owned his own paint contracting business.
He was a 32 Degree Mason.
Mr. Risner enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball and playing dominos.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Carol Lapp, Shady Cove, and Barbara Eddowes, Las Vegas; four sisters, Edna Miller, Ashland, Fannie Elmore, Lawton, Okla., Ruth Young, Durant, Okla., and Margaret Rasmussen, Tumwater, Wash.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Lawrence; and two sisters, Jewell and Faye.

Henry I. Seroussi
Henry I. Seroussi, 77, of Ashland, died Thursday (Nov. 23, 2000) at Linda Vista Care Center, Ashland. Private interment will be in Jacksonville Cemetery.
He was born on March 27, 1923, in Cairo, Egypt, a son of Abraham and Rose Seroussi.
Mr. Seroussi was a member of the Havurah Community in Ashland.
He worked as a stockbroker until his retirement and was a artist, painting with oils.
Survivors include three daughters, Sylvia Seroussi-Chatroux, Ashland, Karyn Seroussi, Rochester, N.Y., and Leila Seroussi, Paris, France; a son Richard, Seattle; several brothers and sisters; and six grandchildren.
