Candice June Draper
The memorial service for Candice June Draper will be held today at the family’s home in Knoxville, Tenn.
Mrs. Draper, 47, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Medford, died Thursday, (Nov. 16, 2000) at the family home in Knoxville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 698, Medford, OR 97501, or the Baptist Hospice, 137 E. Blount Ave., Knoxville, TN 37919.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Dean Draper, Knoxville; a son, Jesse Dwayne Millard, Oak Grove, Ky.; her parents, William and Eva June Bunnell, Knoxville, Tenn.; and a sister, Rebecca Russell, Anaheim, Calif. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Liegh Bohne.

Dorothy D. Schaefer
The funeral for Dorothy D. Schaefer will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Gardens Chapel. The Rev. William Dillard of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford.
Mrs. Schaefer, 91, of Jacksonville, died Sunday (Nov. 19, 2000) at Three Fountains Nursing Center.
She was born Dorothy Powell on Aug. 23, 1909, in Charleston, Miss. On Jan. 1, 1928, in Memphis, Tenn., she married Paul Henry Schaefer, who died in 1974.
Mrs. Schaefer was a homemaker. She moved to the Rogue Valley 15 years ago from California.
She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mrs. Schaefer enjoyed playing cards, fishing, camping and traveling.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Severson, Jacksonville; a son, Marshall, Indio, Calif.; a sister, Frankie Smith, Brownsville, Texas; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul H.; a daughter, Barbara A. Rotvik; four sisters; and two brothers.

James E. Stinson
The memorial service for James E. Stinson will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Savage Memorial Presbyterian Church in Portland.
Mr. Stinson, 51, formerly of Medford, died Friday (Nov. 17, 2000) in Portland of cancer.
He was born Dec. 25, 1948, and graduated from Crater High School in 1967. In February 1989, he married Cheryl Lindhardt, who survives.
Mr. Stinson was a self-employed general contractor.
He was a member of Savage Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, James, Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Stephanie, Sacramento; two sisters, Janie and Maxine, both Houston, Texas; and one grandson.

Norman Lee Thacker
Norman Lee Thacker, 62, of Medford, died Friday (Nov. 17, 2000) in Medford. No service is planned. Private inurnment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Warren, Mich., the son of Paul and Edna Thacker.
Mr. Thacker was a chef in California. He moved to the Rogue Valley one year ago from Gasquet, Calif.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959.
Mr. Thacker attended the Rogue River Church of the Nazarene.
He enjoyed painting.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammie Thacker, Medford; a brother, Bob, Portland; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.

Irene W. Robinson
The memorial service for Irene W. Robinson will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Litwiller-Simonsen Chapel in Ashland. Pastor Bill Halstead of the Ashland Foursquare Church will officiate. Private interment will be at Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland.
Mrs. Robinson, 86, of Ashland, died Friday (Nov. 17, 2000) in Medford.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ashland Foursquare Youth Group, 599 E. Main St., Ashland, OR 97520.
She was born May 15, 1914, at La Combe, Alberta, Canada, a daughter of Leroy B. and Lillian B. (Schooley) Miller. She attended one year at Chico State College.
On Dec. 16, 1933, at Fort Jones, Calif., she married George H. Robinson, who died in 1996.
Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker and Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed flowers, crocheting and playing the piano.
Survivors include two sons, Edwin P., Sacramento, Calif., and William N., Ashland; two daughters, Mary C. Bruzelius, Hilo, Hawaii, and Lorna J. De Young, Talent; two brothers, Eugene Miller, San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Donald Miller, Escondido, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Landrum.

Pauline G. Oke
The Mass of Christian burial for Pauline G. Oke will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the River Catholic Church, 515 Broadway, Rogue River. The Rev. Michael Walker will officiate. Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum in Grants Pass.
Mrs. Oke, 71, of Rogue River, died Sunday (Nov. 19, 2000) at Three Rivers Community Hospital’s Dimmick Campus.

She was born Pauline Gladys Raymond on May 6, 1929, in Novi Township, Mich., and grew up in Michigan. On May 15, 1954, in Mexico, she married William "George" Oke, who died in 1998. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1980 from Canoga Park, Calif.
Mrs. Oke was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Rogue River Catholic Community, which is now Our Lady of the River Mission. She was a former treasurer of the Catholic Women’s Club and of the Rogue River Civic Club.
Mrs. Oke was a fan of auto racing. She enjoyed music, gardening, sewing and crafts.
Survivors include a son, George Jr., Shady Cove; two stepdaughters, Barbara Mae Pike, Glendora, Calif., and Joan Ann Small, Canoga Park, Calif.; a sister, Dolores Pike, Grandville, Mich.; three brothers, Arthur Garcia, George Garcia and Oliver Raymond, all Detroit; her stepfather, August Garcia, Detroit; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mary A. Bohn
The memorial service for Mary A. Bohn will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in Ashland. Pastor Tony Schultz will officiate. A private graveside service will be held in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford.
Mrs. Bohn, 82, of Medford, died Monday (Nov. 20, 2000) at her home.

She was born Mary Turnbull on Nov. 1, 1918, in Dunning County, Neb. On Sept. 7, 1937, in Blaine County, Neb., she married Harold D. Bohn, who died in 1994. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1937 from Nebraska.
Mrs. Bohn was a homemaker.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ashland.
Mrs. Bohn enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, her family, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons, Darrell and Kenneth, both Ashland, and Ray, Dawson Creek, B. C., Canada; a daughter, Marlene Williamson, Victoria, B. C., Canada; a sister, Erma Bohn, Ashland; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
