Richard C. Hutchinson
The memorial service for Richard Churchill Hutchinson, colonel, USAF, retired, will be at 3:15 today at Rogue Valley Manor Chapel. Don Hildebrand will officiate.
Mr. Hutchinson, 93, of Medford, died Wednesday (Feb. 28, 2001) at Rogue Valley Manor.
He was born Sept. 2, 1907, in Portland, Maine. He attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., graduating in 1930.
Mr. Hutchinson joined the Army Air Corps and flew bombers in the Pacific and European theaters during World War II. He transferred to the U.S. Air Force in 1947 and served in the Pentagon, Guatemala, Texas, Taiwan and Illinois before leaving active duty in 1961.
He received a master’s degree in education in 1963 from Long Beach State College in California.
Mr. Hutchinson taught at Orange High School in Orange, Calif., from 1964 to 1974. He retired from teaching in 1974, and moved from the city of Orange to Laguna Niguel, where he lived at Pacific Island Village until 1988. He moved to Ashland in 1988, and to Rogue Valley Manor in 1995.
Survivors include a son, Richard Hutchinson II, Houston; a stepdaughter, Mary Mahoney Henie, Ashland; and a stepson, Clark Fergus, Santa Ana, Calif.

John Robert Googe
The graveside service for John Robert Googe will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Googe, 67, of White City, died Wednesday (Feb. 28, 2001) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

He was born July 9, 1933, in Robbs, Ill., the son of Roy and Carrie (Edwards) Googe. On April 27, 1953, in Burbank, Calif., he married Marilyn Sparkman, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley 31 years ago.
Mr. Googe was an aircraft mechanic. He recently retired from Croman Corp. in White City, where he had worked for 17 years.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Googe was a member of the Medford First Baptist Church.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include five sons, Kevin, Steven, Jeffrey and Michael, all Medford, and David, Mount Vernon, Wash.; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty King; and a granddaughter.
Friends may pay their respects from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Conger-Morris Funeral Directors, Medford.
Opal Irene Moran
The memorial service for Opal Irene Moran will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Church of God. The Rev. John Wiuff will officiate.
Mrs. Moran, 54, of Medford, died Tuesday (Feb. 27, 2001) at her home.

She was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Delta, Colo., and raised by "Pops" Jess and Freda Williams. Other than 12 years on the coast, she spent most of her life in Medford. She was a graduate of Medford High School and Trend College. On Oct. 1, 1966, in Ashland, she married John B. Moran, who survives.
Mrs. Moran was a cashier. She worked for Pear Tree Truck Stop, Petro Truck Stop and Albertsons.
She enjoyed sewing crafts, gardening, the outdoors and poetry. The International Library of Poetry published two of her poems.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Shane, Medford, and Phillip, Toledo; three daughters, Angela Williams, Medford, Yvonne Williams, Lebanon, and Katie Moran, Toledo; five brothers, Pat Williams, White City, James Williams, Eagle Point, George Williams, Medford, Ben Williams Medford, and Jess Williams, Eugene.; four sisters, Ruby Williams, Auburn, Wash., Juanita Williams and July Villegas, both Portland, and Jean Hurst, Albany.; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, "Pat" Paul Daniel Beard Williams; her mother, Freda Williams; two sisters: Pearl Meyer and Jewel Wyatt; and three brothers, Micheal, Christopher and Gary.

Roberta May Gray
The funeral service for Roberta May Gray will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives, 550 Business Park Dive, Medford. Pastor Ron Timen of Rivergate Christian Center, Ashland will officiate. Interment will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
Mrs. Gray, 62, of Central Point, died Tuesday (Feb. 27, 2001) at her home.
She was born Dec. 10, 1938, in Los Angeles, the daughter of Charles and Frances Allen. On Aug. 2, 1976, in Norwalk, Calif., she married Ronald J. Gray, who survives. They moved to Central Point in 1995 from Arizona.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Robin Colonna, Ashland, and April Vesneski, Medford; a son, Harry Allen, Bellflower, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

Minnie M. Ingram
The memorial service for Minnie M. Ingram will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Medford. The Rev. Alan Jackson will officiate.
Mrs. Ingram, 84, of Medford, died Wednesday (Feb. 28, 2001) at her home.

She was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Mountain Lake, Minn., a daughter of Peter Gerhard and Anna Jacob (Janzen) Lohrenz. She came to Oregon in 1936, and attended high school and the University of Oregon in Eugene. On Aug. 22, 1941, in Tigard, she married Dr. Jack S. Ingram, who survives. They lived in St. Louis from 1941 to 1947, while her husband was in medical school.
Mrs. Ingram was a technician at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis. She lived in San Antonio Texas, and the Panama Canal zone while her husband was in the service. They moved to Medford in 1949.
She was a homemaker and did volunteer work with Southern Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Center.
Mrs. Ingram was a 51-year charter member of the Crater Lioness Club, a member of the Crater Lions Club, a sustaining member of the Junior League of Jackson County, and past president of the Jackson County Medical Alliance. She was also a member of the Roxy Ann Gem and Mineral Society and a charter member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Ingram enjoyed traveling with her husband in a travel trailer and family activities.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Dr. Gary L., Medford, and Steven J., Portland; two daughters, Susan M. Rose, Salem, and Gail A. Hamilton, Klamath Falls; a brother, Paul G. Lohrenz, Mountain Lake, Minn.; a sister, Elizabeth Reeve, St. Paul, Minn.; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Peter G., Jacob P., and Silas D. Lohrenz; a sister, Susan A. Goertzen; and a granddaughter.

Richard Dean Barker
Richard Dean Barker, 76, of Medford, died Tuesday (Feb. 27, 2001) at a Medford foster care home. A gathering of friends and family will be held in the summer.

He was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Medford, the son of Richard and Edna Barker. He graduated from South Medford High School. On Dec. 15, 1945, in Reno, Nev., he married Merle Wood, who survives.
Mr. Barker worked at Pepsi for seven years, then at Coca Cola Bottlers for many years, retiring in 1986.
He was a life member of the Elks Lodge.
Mr. Barker enjoyed golfing, fishing and carpentry work.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Michael, Salem, and Stephen, Bothell, Wash.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy.

Abigail Marie Fahringer
The memorial service for Abigail Marie Fahringer will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Medford Neighborhood Church. The Rev. V. Lee Gregory will officiate.
Abigail, 10-month-old daughter of Cindy Fahringer and Robert Bunn of Medford, died Tuesday (Feb. 27, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
She was born April 19, 2000, in Medford.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, include a brother, Anders Bunn, Medford; a sister, Jessica Fahringer, Medford; and her grandparents, Leon and Elsie Fahringer, Medford, and Marjorie Sanches, Medford.
