Douglas Earl Farnsworth
The memorial service for Douglas Earl Farnsworth will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Medford.
Mr. Farnsworth, 55, of Medford, died Saturday (March 10, 2001) at Hearthstone.

He was born Sept. 14, 1945, in Medford and lived in the Rogue Valley all his life.
Mr. Farnsworth was a gourmet cook.
He enjoyed auto racing.
Survivors include two sons, Tad Farnsworth, Medford, and Todd Hall, Klamath Falls; two daughters, Dawn Cramer, Medford, and Amy Shaffer, Spanaway, Wash.; his mother, Mrs. Cyril J. Farnsworth, Medford; a brother, Greg, Aloha; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Cyril J. Farnsworth.

Leila Dunn-Wagner
The memorial service for Leila Dunn-Wagner will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Perl Funeral Home Chapel at Siskiyou Memorial Park. Chaplain John Braund of Providence Hospital will officiate.
Mrs. Dunn-Wagner, 82, of Shady Cove, died Sunday (March 11, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

She was born May 13, 1918, in Alma, Ark., a daughter of Edward and Rose Dunn.
In 1973, in Yuma, Ariz., she married William Wagner, who died in 1994.
Mrs. Dunn-Wagner was a meat wrapper in retail grocery stores, retiring in 1972.
She was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in San Diego.
Mrs. Dunn-Wagner enjoyed crocheting, quilt making, crafts and handwork.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Sharpe, Shady Cove; a stepdaughter, Robin Ray, National City, Calif.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Dunn; and two sisters, Rosetta Davis and Ora Dempsey.

Pearl E. Holland
A Mass of Christian Burial for Pearl Holland will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fort Jones, Calif. The Rev. John Lawrence will officiate. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Fort Jones.
Ms. Holland, 87, of Grants Pass, died Sunday (March 11, 2001) at Royale Gardens Health and Rehabilitation in Grants Pass.
She was born Dec. 5, 1913, in Montague, Calif., a daughter of Joseph and Olinda Alves. She lived in Oakland, Calif., most of her life. She moved to Grants Pass in 1996 from Jamestown, Calif.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Silva, Grants Pass and David Lario, Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mary Judith Silva, San Jose, Calif., and Darlene Rae Kearns, Benecia, Calif.; two sisters, Marjorie Coatney, Yreka, Calif., and Althea Cramer, Redding, Calif.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Elvina Elsie Yonker
The graveside service for Elvina Elsie Yonker will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mrs. Yonker, 84, of Gold Hill, died Saturday (March 10, 2001) at her home.

She was born Feb. 26, 1917, in Dolan, S.D., the daughter of Joe and Susie (Gross) Pullman. On July 3, 1949, in Los Angeles, she married Edward Yonker, who died in 1996. They moved to the Rogue Valley 30 years ago from Paramount, Calif.
Mrs. Yonker enjoyed gardening and her cat, Joey.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Johnson, in South Dakota; and a brother, Reuben Pullman, Huron, S.D.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Conger-Morris Funeral Home, Medford.
Jewell Lawless
Jewell Lawless, 88, of Central Point, died Sunday (March 11, 2001) at Three Fountains Nursing Center. A private service will be held.
She was born Jewell Husak on Dec. 23, 1912, in Port Arthur, Texas.
On June 22, 1932, in Santa Ana, Calif., she married Wilson Lawless, who died in 1999. They moved to the Rogue Valley from Whittier, Calif., in 1996.
Mrs. Lawless was a homemaker.
She enjoyed playing bridge, reading and reciting poetry and Bible study.
Survivors include a son, Robert, Central Point; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Vern W. McCall Sr.
Vern W. McCall Sr., 89, of Medford, died Friday (March 9, 2001) at Hearthstone. Private inurnment will be in Sunnyside Chimes Memorial Gardens in Portland.
He was born Dec. 21, 1911, in Johnstown, Pa., the son of Verner Wilson and Ida May Ashman McCall. He lived in the Rogue Valley during the 1950s, then lived in other Oregon cities, returning to Medford from Portland in 1999.
Mr. McCall worked in retail sales, retiring from Sears in 1969.
He was a member of the Elks.
Mr. McCall enjoyed fishing, bowling, woodworking and traveling.
Survivors include two sons, Verner W. Jr., Eagle Point, and Tom C., Gold Hill; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; and a sister, Mary Gould.

Helen Holloway Dalton
The memorial service for Helen Holloway Dalton will be at 8:30 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Medford. The Rev. William Dillard will officiate.
Mrs. Dalton, 84, of Medford, died Saturday (March 10, 2001) at her home.

She was born Helen Holloway on March 18, 1916, in Lincoln, Neb. On Aug. 26, 1939, in Lincoln, she married Bernard Dalton, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley 16 years ago from San Jose, Calif.
Mrs. Dalton was a homemaker.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Providence Guild, Emblem Club and St. Anne’s Altar Society.
Mrs. Dalton enjoyed homemaking, family and friends.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Kathleen Pennington, Los Gatos, Calif., and Diane Machado, Roanoke, Va.; a sister, Ruthalee Jorgensen, Lincoln, Neb.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
