Angelina Dora Lallo
The funeral service for Angelina Dora Lallo will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Perl Chapel with Siskiyou Memorial Park. Her son, John Lallo, minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses, will officiate.
Mrs. Lallo, 77, of Talent, died Thursday (March 15, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 13, 1924, in Cleveland, a daughter of Mary and John Sanzo. On Nov. 11, 1941, in Ohio, she married Thomas Lallo, who died in 1991. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1977 from Simi Valley, Calif.
Mrs. Lallo was a homemaker.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and children, watching old movies, needlepoint and crocheting.
Survivors include five sons, John, Thomas, Michael, Ronny and Anthony; five daughters, Darlene Hardin, Mary Cossairt, Angela Manring, Toni Lallo, and Francine Davis; a sister, Mary R. Lallo; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Sanzo.
Friends may pay their respects from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Perl Funeral Home Chapel, Medford.
Richard Vaughn Sr.
Richard Ernest Vaughn Sr., 85, of Ashland, died Thursday (Feb. 19, 2001) at his home. A private family service was held in Lithia Park.

Mr. Vaughn was born April 6, 1915, in Detroit, to Ernest Vaughn and Helen Albertus.
On Jan. 6, 1938, in Detroit, he married Betty Biggers, who survives.
After retiring to their home at Mountain Meadows in 1996, he worked on his woodworking hobby.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Richard E. Vaughn Jr., Greensboro, N.C.; a daughter, Susan R. Vaughn, Ashland; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Glen E. Traub
The funeral service for Glen E. Traub will be at noon Monday at Family Life Bible Church in Ashland. His son, the Rev. John Traub, will officiate. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Traub, 79, of Brookings, died Wednesday (March 14, 2001) in Medford.

He was born March 10, 1922, in Hardy, Neb., the son of John and Nellie (Lawson) Traub. On Oct. 3, 1948, in Sequim, Wash., he married Ruth Juanita Taylor, who survives. He lived in the Rogue Valley for two years due to health reasons.
Mr. Traub worked for Brookings Plywood Mill for 20 years. He and his wife lived in Brookings for 36 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II.
Mr. Traub was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly Church in Brookings.
He enjoyed hunting.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Kathy Barclay and Barbara Smith, both Grants Pass; three sons, the Rev. John, Ashland, Tom, Brookings, and Rev. Cliff, Modesto, Calif.; two sisters, Gladys Nobblitt, Vancouver, Wash., and Betty Nichols, in Arizona; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Ahe Jin Edmunson
The memorial service for Ahe Jin Edmunson will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park.
Mrs. Edmunson, 70, of Medford, died Thursday (March 15, 2001) at Medford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

She was born Ahe Han on Sept. 29, 1930, in PuSan, Korea. In 1956, in Seoul, Korea, she married Archie Earle Edmunson, who preceded her in death. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1967 from Seoul.
Mrs. Edmunson was a housekeeper at Three Fountains Nursing Center, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church.
Mrs. Edmunson enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Survivors include a daughter, Jony Wilson, Central Point; two sons, Bill, Central Point, and Dennis, San Jose, Calif.; two sisters; one brother; and four grandchildren.

Sophia ‘Sonia’ P. Lavsky
The memorial service for Sophia "Sonia" P. Lavsky will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Grants Pass. Father Jim Boston will officiate.
Mrs. Lavsky, 99, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday (March 13, 2001) at Royale Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass.

She was born Sept. 30, 1901, in Vladivostok, Siberia, Russia, a daughter of Peter and Martha Katuhine. She left Russia during the Revolution of 1919 and became a refugee in China for 10 years where she met her future husband, Frank, in Tingsing, China. She moved to the United States in 1933. In February 1934, in Denver, she married Frank Lavsky, who died in 1976. They moved to Grants Pass in 1944.
Mrs. Lavsky was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 26, the Garden Club, the 4-H, and was a longtime member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Grants Pass. She was also a volunteer with the Red Cross and the Cub Scout Bank for uniforms.
Survivors include two nieces, Diane Dotts, and Sue Huff, both Grants Pass; and three nephews, Mark Dotts, Grants Pass, Chris Dotts, Mills City, and Tim Dotts, Harrison, Ariz.; and three great-nieces and nephews.

Arthur E. Brown
The funeral service for Arthur E. Brown will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Shady Point Seventh-day Adventist Church in Eagle Point. Pastors Brad Brown and George White will officiate. A graveside service will follow at Brownsboro Cemetery, Highway 140, in Eagle Point.
Mr. Brown, 93, of Eagle Point, died Wednesday (March 14, 2001) at his home.

He was born July 22, 1907, in Comstock, Neb., the son of Daniel and Olive Brown. On Jan. 17, 1948, in Oakland, Calif., he married Ada Esther Schornstein, who died in 1999. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1958 from California.
Mr. Brown was a trucker, rancher and contractor for the U.S. Forest Service.
He enjoyed gardening and rock hunting.
Survivors include four sons, Frank, Eagle Point, Farrell, College Place, Wash., Eudell, Chico, Calif., and Dan, Pioneer, Calif.; a daughter, Nellie DeGraffenreid, Mesa, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Way; and eight siblings.
Friends may pay their respects from 9 to 10 a.m. Sunday at Shady Point Seventh-day Adventist Church, 14611 Highway 62, Eagle Point.

George Joseph Campbell
The memorial service for George Joseph Campbell will be at 5 p.m. today at 550 Business Park Drive, Medford. Inurnment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. The Rev. V. Lee Gregory of Medford Neighborhood Church will officiate.
Mr. Campbell, 81, of White City, died Tuesday (March 13, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
He was born March 6, 1920, in San Francisco, the son of James and Florence Campbell. He graduated from St. Vincent High School in Napa, Calif. In 1971, in Klamath Falls, he married Mary Esther Trapp, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1975 from California.
Mr. Campbell was the city electrical superintendent in Napa, Calif., from 1957 to 1971.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
Mr. Campbell enjoyed working with anything electrical.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Linda Berry, White City, Debbie Hill, Klamath Falls, and Cathy Semone, in Utah; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard.
