Enez M. Kasperson
The memorial service for Enez M. Kasperson will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Lundberg's L.B. Hall Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Parker of Bethany Presbyterian Church will officiate, and her grandson, Pastor Kevin Kroeker, will speak.
Mrs. Kasperson, 86, of Grants Pass, died Monday (May 7, 2001) at Royale Gardens Health Care Facility.

She was born April 8, 1915, in Los Angeles. On June 19, 1938, in Los Angeles, she married Morris Kasperson, who died in 1993. They lived in Los Angeles, then moved to Ventura, Calif., for a short time before moving to Grants Pass in 1993.
Mrs. Kasperson was a member of Los Angeles Free Church, Missionary Church in Van Nuys, Calif., Evangelical Covenant Church in Northridge, Calif., and Missionary Church in Ventura, Calif. She enjoyed sharing her time and talent in church.
She also enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining and sewing.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Hultman, Grants Pass, Joan Kroeker, Klamath Falls, and Sharon Eslava, Edinburg, Texas; two sisters, Ingrid Wikstrom, Grants Pass, and Helen Peterson, Simi Valley, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mary Elizabeth Sorensen
The memorial service for Mary Elizabeth Sorensen will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Chapel in Medford. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park of Medford.
Mrs. Sorensen, 63, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday (May 8, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 23, 1937, in Portland, the daughter of Frank and Marie Lien. On Oct. 19, 1953, in Portland, she married LeRoy Charles Sorensen, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1975, and to Grants Pass from Central Point 10 years ago.
Mrs. Sorensen worked for Oaklane Retirement Center in Grants Pass.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Marcy Stephens, Medford, and Julie Farwell, Portland; a son, Marty, Portland; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Grace A. Wayne
The graveside service for Grace A. Wayne will be at 11 a.m. today at Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford. Chaplain Don Hildebrand of Rogue Valley Manor will officiate.
Mrs. Wayne, 85, of Central Point, died Sunday (May 6, 2001) at Alderwood Assisted Living Facility.

She was born Nov. 22, 1915, in Virginia, Neb., a daughter of Isac and Margaret (Miller) Fitzwater. In 1934, in Wymore, Neb., she married Cecil Boughtin, who died in 1977. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1983 from Gresham. On Feb. 13, 1986, in Reno, Nev., she married Victor M. Wayne, who died in 1997.
Mrs. Wayne inspected eggs for Swift and Safeway companies for 18 years. During World War II, she worked for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft in Southern California.
She enjoyed camping and fishing, church activities, spending time with her family and cooking.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet Sowell, Central Point; a brother, Raymond Fitzwater, Loveland, Colo.; two sisters, Ona Hayes, Twin Falls, Idaho, and Dorothy Baker, Denver; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
Friends may pay their respects at 9:30 a.m. today at Perl Funeral Home Chapel, Medford.
John Paul Brown
The family and friends of John Paul Brown will gather from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the family home.
Mr. Brown, 82, of Medford, died Tuesday (May 8, 2001) at his home.

He was born Aug. 29, 1918, in Passaic, N.J., a son of John K. and Margarette (Wiedemann) Brown. On April 5, 1944, in Palm Springs, Calif., he married Dorothy Thompson, who survives. He attended the University of Southern California from 1958 to 1962, and the University of California Los Angeles from 1963 to 1965.
He served in the Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1947.
After the service, Mr. Brown worked as a pilot for the Army Air Corps Air Transport Command, and as an airline safety inspector for the Federal Aviation Administration from 1948 to 1974, when he retired.
He was a member of the Sierra Club-Rogue Group, Southern Oregon Tennis Club, and was a 20-year volunteer at the library.
Mr. Brown enjoyed hiking, cycling and tennis.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, David, San Mateo, Calif.; a daughter, Leslie Zock, Medford; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Cyril.

John DeBenedetti
The memorial service for John DeBenedetti will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Rogue River Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mr. DeBenedetti, 84, of Rogue River, died Saturday (May 5, 2001) at Royale Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born June 25, 1916, in Wilton, N.Y. In 1932, in Albany, N.Y., he married Mary Alice Perleone, who survives. He lived in Albany, N.Y., from 1929 to 1956, when he moved to California. He moved to Rogue River from California in 1975.
Mr. DeBenedetti had been a member of the Rogue River Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1975.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include four sons, Frank and Pat, both Rogue River, Dominic, Grants Pass, and John, Montague, Calif.; three daughters, Irene Toadt, Worcester, Mass., Mary Flowers, Traverse City, Mich., and Ann DeBenedetti, Beverly Hills, Calif.; 27 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Edward H. Farquhar
The graveside service for Edward H. Farquhar will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Farquhar, 69, of Medford, died Sunday (May 6, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Farquhar served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, retiring after 21 years.

Milton Clyde Weston
Milton Clyde Weston, 86, of Medford, died Wednesday (May 2, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. A private service will be held.
He was born Sept. 13, 1914, in Hayes Center, Neb., a son of Frank and Elsie Weston. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1950 from California.
Mr. Weston worked in construction, retiring in 1973.
He enjoyed reading.
Survivors include two sisters, Mable Butchino and Maxine Arnold, both Medford; and a brother, Arthur, Del City, Okla. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roland E. and Joe.

Jean S. Glenn
Jean S. Glenn, 62, of Medford, died Wednesday (May 2, 2001) at Medford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. A private service will be held later.
She was born Aug. 26, 1938, in Los Angeles, a daughter of Karl and Robin Sicherman. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1971 from Los Angeles.
Survivors include a twin sister, Margaret Powell, Arnold, Calif. She was preceded in death by an older sister, Carolyn Carr.

Ellen Florence McGhehey
Ellen Florence McGhehey, 95, of Rogue River, died Tuesday (May 1, 2001) at Royale Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass. Private interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Grants Pass.
She was born Nov. 2, 1905, in Grants Pass. She graduated from Phoenix High School and Klamath Union Business College. She married Arthur McGhehey, who died in 1970. She lived in Klamath Falls, Medford and Eugene. She moved back to Rogue River in 1988 from Medford.
In Grants Pass, Mrs. McGhehey was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Lady Elks.
Survivors include a son, Peter, Yachats; two daughters, Eva Menduni and Jane Johnson, both Portland; four grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
