Michael Robert Mahoney
November 10, 1950 – May 13, 2009
Michael was born in Hayward California, to Robert and M. Sue (Castleberry) Mahoney.
Michael was a contractor in California and Oregon. Known for his beautiful craftsmanship, Creativity and inventions. He and his former wife Cindi owned and Operated motels on the Rogue River.
Michael leaves three children, Timothy (Betsy) Amanda, Joey Hall and Mathew, Three grandchildren, Maia, Ainsley, and Bryan, Brother, Tim (wife Janet); sisters, Susan and Kerry
His passing was preceded by his sister, Nancy Jo Nelson.
There are no words that describe the loss of our Michael. The Lord has given him a new beginning but he will always be here, in our hearts and wonderful memories.

Vida Janet Jacobs
Vida Janet (Gering) Jacobs, 90, Passed away on May 6, 2009 In Canby, Oregon. She was born on Jan. 13, 1919, in Scottsbluff, Neb., and graduated from Gering High School in 1937.
She and her husband, Dale, were married Dec. 24, 1939, and remained loyal and loving mates to the end. She is survived by her husband, Dale; three caring children, Toni Clay of Portland, Stephen Jacobs of Beavercreek and Jeffrey Jacobs of Portland; seven grandchildren, Carin Henderson of Vancouver, Donald Scheidel of Boston, Jill Tonkon of Aurora, Scott Jacobs of Oregon City, Julie Jacobs of Beavercreek, Hayley Jacobs of Salem and Laura Jacobs McKniff of Portland; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Della Sylvestor, of Danville, Calif. Vida’s entire family deeply loved, understood and was devoted to her.
As a talented wife, homemaker and advisor, she was exceptional. In addition to being a wife and mother, her artistic talents led her to such hobbies as flower arranging, jewelry, macrame and tile design. She loved golf and especially playing bridge in her later years. She worked as a green lady with Billie Gross at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland and later founded and started the ladies auxiliary at the Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City.
She and her husband moved to Portland in 1942, moved to Oregon City in 1949, and to Charbonneau in 1973, where she became active in golf and various ladies’ organizations. She suffered from dementia in the last few years, but still retained enough reality to display her famous smile, cognition and love. Many tears will be shed for this wonderful lady by her family as she gave strength, love and forgiveness to all. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009, in Charbonneau Golf Club, Wilsonville.

Angela Nicole Satterlee
March 22, 1989 – May 5, 2009
Angela Nicole Satterlee, 20, died on May 5, 2009. Angela was born to Michael and Donna Satterlee on March 22, 1989 in Portland, OR. She was raised in Portland and Tigard, and attended Merlo Station High School. Angela loved animals and did some volunteer work for the Oregon Zoo. She was a very thoughtful individual and a very compassionate friend. The Oregon Beach and her family ranch in Eastern Oregon were two of her favorite places to visit. Angela will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Angela is survived by her mother, Donna Satterlee; father, Michael Satterlee; grandparents, Barbara and Robert Shangle, Clarence and Bobbie Satterlee, Peggy Levien and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Her family held a private memorial service on Monday, May 11th, at the Robert and Barbara Shangle residence. Irene Green Kagan
January 28, 1928 – May 5, 2009
Irene G. Kagan, 81, died on May 5, 2009 in Lake Oswego. Irene Green was born on January 28, 1928 in Princeton, West Virginia, to Spencer and Bertha Green. She graduated from Princeton High School and was recruited by the FBI for employment, where she proceeded to work for three years based out of Washington DC. She met William Spencer Kagan on a train home to Washington DC, and on November 2, 1949, the couple married in DC. Irene and Spencer had two children, Brian and Karen, and during the children’s younger years, Irene worked as a homemaker. She later worked for Gold Pfeil, a German luggage company, as a retail manager. Aside from work, Irene enjoyed design, reading, catering and loved to entertain.
Irene is survived by her son, Brian Kagan and wife Donna of Lake Oswego; daughter, Karen Kagan of Iowa City, Iowa; brother, Bart Green of Port Orange, Florida and two grandchildren, David Cornell and Christopher Kagan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Spencer in 2006 and her brothers, Archie and William Green in 2006.
The Memorial Service for Irene will be on May 21st at 4:00 pm, at The Stafford, 1200 Overlook Dr., Lake Oswego, OR 97034. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.

Claudia Irene Beverly
Claudia Irene Beverly, 61, Was born August 25, 1947 in Indiana to John and Guinevere Smith. Claudia passed away in Beaverton, Oregon on May 4, 2009 .
Claudia worked as a Food Preservation Instructor.
She is survived by her partner Jimmy Bouman. She is preceded in death by her husband Stephen Beverly.

Marjorie Haines Crisman
May 23, 1921 – May 2, 2009
Marjorie H. Crisman, 87, died on May 2nd, 2009 in Newberg, Oregon. Marjorie Mae Haines was born on May 23, 1921 in Portland, to Ward and Marie Haines. She graduated from Washington High School and later received a Bachelor’s degree from Cascade Bible College in Portland. It was in college and some time at church that Marjorie grew close to Clynton Crisman. Clynton and Marjorie married at the First Friends Church in Portland in 1944. The couple had four children and Marjorie primarily worked as a homemaker to raise their children. Aside of household duties, Marjorie did a significant amount of work for the Friends Church, where Clynton was a pastor. She was known for her scripture memorization and her organization of Women’s fellowships, as well as being involved in Sunday School, Choir directing, and writing for the Church’s daily devotional book, the Fruit of the Vine.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clynton; her son, Bruce Crisman and wife Natalie; daughters, Lisa Crisman, Marcia Bogert and husband, Bruce; sister, Ellen Martin and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rita Crisman in 2002.
There will be a memorial service for Marjorie on Saturday, May 23, at 10 am at Newberg Friends Church. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in remembrance of Marjorie to the Hayden Lake Friends Church: Crisman Shelter, at 251 W Miles Ave., Hayden Lake, ID 83835.
