'Skookie' Watson
The graveside service for Ileene "Skookie" Watson will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mrs. Watson, 93, of Trail, died Thursday (Dec. 25, 2003) at Three Fountains Nursing Center, Medford.

She was born Nov. 28, 1910 in Chandler, North Dakota to Cortez "Cordy" C. and Anna R. (Baker) Elliott. On June 16, 1946 in Brookings, she married John G. Watson, who preceded her in death in 1978. She came to the Rogue Valley in 1937.
Mrs. Watson served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. She was a retired school teacher and taught in Medford and Prospect for about 40 years.
Survivors include her sister, Eva Johnson of Trail, Oregon.

Goldie Lee "Shirley" Livingston
A celebration of life will be held at Bethel Assembly of God Church on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at 1:30 p.m., for Goldie Lee "Shirley" Livingston, who died on Nov. 23, 2003, at the age of 77 in Portland. The Rev. Tim Olsen will officiate.
Goldie "Shirley" was born on Feb. 6, 1926, to the late Cornelia Lunsford and James W. Miller in Jessamine County, Ky. She lived in the Rogue Valley for more than 40 years prior to moving to Portland due to illness.
Goldie enjoyed traveling, writing and scrapbook making, as well as many other hobbies. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Bethel Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include sons Larry Wade, Portland; Edward James (Ted), Ashland; daughter Lorna Kaleen, also of Portland. Brothers Truman and James, Illinois; sister Lois, Lexington, Ky. Six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Lloyd George Rogers
The memorial service for Lloyd George Rogers will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2003, at Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home in Ashland, with Pastor Jim Larsen of Christian Church of Ashland officiating. Private inurnment will be in Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland.

Mr. Rogers, 89, formerly of Ashland, died Monday, December 1, 2003, at his Medford residence.
Lloyd G. Rogers was born June 3, 1914, in Spirit Lake, Idaho, to Corance and Emily (Jobes) Rogers. He graduated from high school in Alturas, Calif., and on March 25, 1940, in Reno, Nev., he married the former Lois B. Smith. They came to Ashland in 1940 and Lloyd drove a taxi, worked at the Ashland Hotel, Mountain States Music Company, Fruit Growers Association and several lumber mills in Medford, Ashland and Hilt, Calif., including Magnolia Lumber Company and Timber Products. He retired in 1979 from Timber Products.
Lloyd enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He played a bass fiddle and square danced. He also enjoyed reading and watching movies.
Lloyd was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Lords and Ladies Square Dance Club.
Survivors include sons, Larry Rogers of Ashland and Lonnie Rogers of Sacramento; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. His wife, Lois, preceded him in death October 11, 1998. His brother, Almus, and sisters, Ethel and Bernice also preceded him in death.
Nicholas "Trent" Voris
A celebration of life will be held for Nicholas "Trent" Voris on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the upper picnic area of Lithia Park.
The rain location is the Gazebo by the Lithia Park Bandshell.
Nicholas was born September 2, 1982, in Ashland. He died November 27, 2003, in Medford, at the age of 21.
Nicholas graduated from Grants Pass High School in 2001. While in high school, he was in the stage band and the marching band as a drummer and on the speed skating team for several years at Roller Odyssey in Medford. Skating and music were Nicholas' loves - he was on the Jr. Olympic Hockey Team when he was 9 through 12 years old. Some of his favorite music groups were Tool and The Who, however, he liked classical as well as other types of music.
Nicholas is survived by his father, Randy Voris and his mother, Rebecca Pinnock, both of Ashland; his sister, Angela Badiei of Albany; two grandmothers, Mary Elizabeth Voris and Betty Pinnock, both of Ashland; an aunt, Lyn Conklin of Medford; an uncle, Robert L. Voris of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; and an uncle, Jeff Pinnock of Spokane, Wash. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Voris Sr. and Frank Pinnock.
