Mary Anna Gollehon

Mary Anna Gollehon was surrounded by family when she passed away peacefully at home on November 8, 2009. She was born on April 18, 1928. Mary is survived by her husband, Michael, seven daughters, one son, 20 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and one grandchild.
Mary loved taking care of people and was one of the most loving, caring, wonderful women you could meet. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, putting puzzles together, and playing cards. She was happiest when she was around her family. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Emanuel Christian Church in Clackamas. Edward Vincent Christen
Edward Vincent Christen, 60, died November 7, 2009. He was born September 5, 1949 in Portland.
Ed was raised along with 7 brothers on the family farm in Tigard where many happy memories were created. He later moved to Alameda, Ca. where he lived for several years before moving to Colorado then back to Oregon, settling in Sherwood.
Ed worked in several fields, but enjoyed truck driving above all. He also enjoyed participating in local filming of several movie productions and was a devoted sports fan.
Ed was preceded in death by his father Louis, mother Bertha and brother Steve. He is survived by; Mark and Debbie Christen of Gresham, Paul Christen of Beaverton, John and Kelly Christen of Sisters, Ron Christen of Sherwood, Debbie Christen of Vancouver, Dennis Christen of Hillsboro, Jim and Tina Christen of Sherwood; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at 10:00 am in St. Francis Catholic Parish, Sherwood.
Herbert “Herb” Oster
February 24, 1919 – November 7, 2009
Herbert Oster, 90, passed away on November 7, 2009 in Woodburn, Oregon. Herb was born in Ismay, Montana on February 24, 1919 to Henry and Ida (Shum) Oster. Herb was raised in Montana but also lived in Indiana, Arizona and Florida before moving to Oregon in 2004.
Herb served his country proudly in the US Air Force as mechanic in WWII from 1941 to 1945.
Herb married Fay Topfer on August 2, 1945 in Miles City, Montana. After Fay’s death Herb married Bessie Roberts on November 29, 1986 in Greenburg, Indiana. After the death of his second wife he met Eileen Bagwell, his current companion.
Herb worked as the lead auto mechanic for Chevrolet in Miles City, Montana, as a field tech for John Deere, as an agent operator for Milwaukee Railroad in Plevna and Miles City, Montana, and also a post master in Melstone, Montana.
Herb’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, car mechanic, camping, and he enjoyed watching all sports on TV, but his all time favorite hobby was Garage Sales. Herb always found time to be an active member in the Masonic Lodge and he achieved status of Grand Master. He was also a member in the Good Sam Club, and BFW.
Herb is survived by his son, Craig H. Oster of Kent, Washington; daughters, Marguerite I. Oster of Melstone, Montana and M. Luryce Oster-Summers of Helena, Montana, also his 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Herb is preceded in death by brothers, Eugene, William, and Albert Oster; sister, Clara; half brothers Fred, Richard, and Walter; and his wives, Fay Oster and Bessie Oster.
Memorial contributions can be made in Herb’s name to the American Cancer Society and/or the Oregon Humane Society.

Pamela Jean (Leach) Fay
May 20, 1955 – November 7, 2009
Pamela Jean (Leach) Fay, 54, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Portland, Oregon. Pamela was born on May 20, 1955 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Jack Ramon and Phyllis Jean (Kunze) Leach.
Pamela was raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon until about the age of 14 when the family moved to Dallas, Oregon were she lived for about 15 years. Pamela married Les Fay in 1973.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Les Fay; sons, Brian, Brad, and David Fay; father, Jack Leach; half sister, Julie Rupae, and 6 grandchildren.
Pamela is preceded by her mother, Phyllis Decourcy.
Pamela was involved with the Rainbow Girls.
Memorial Services will be held for Pamela at 2 o’clock on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Tualatin Foursquare Church.

James Joseph Lutz
James Joseph Lutz passed away at his home in North Portland on November 7, 2009, at the age of 73. The St. Paul, Minnesota native was born to Earl and Marion Lutz, on July 8, 1936. He grew up in the state of Minnesota before becoming a part of the Navy as a young man. James married Betty Jean Pace in Belton, Texas, on the 4th of July in 1964, and the two eventually moved to the Portland area in 1984 with kids in tow. married for 45 years, the couple would have 4 sons and a daughter together. James enjoyed careers in both sales and as a truck driver.
James is survived by his wife Betty Lutz of Portland; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jody Lutz of Portland, Oregon; son Robert Lutz of California; son Kenny Lutz and his partner Tammy Conrad of Vancouver, Washington; daughter and son-in-law Theresa and Donald Jones of Spanaway, Washington; son Steve Lutz of Portland; sister Gertrude Poore; and brother Robert Lutz. He also leaves behind a total of 8 grandchildren. A memorial mass is scheduled to take place at St. Andrews in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, November 14th, at 12:00 pm. Arrangements were made with Crown Memorial Center – Milwaukie.
Dennis Steven Jayne
11/23/1955 – 11/6/2009
Dennis entered the hospital on Nov. 1st, 2009 after having suffered a massive stroke. He did not recover and passed away on Nov. 5th, 2009. Dennis was born Nov. 25, 1955 in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri (along with a twin sister). He is survived by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He will be laid to rest Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland with full military ho9nors. We will celebrate his life afterward at his brothers’ home in Milwaukie.
He will be missed by all who loved him.
