William W. Ezzell
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2001, in First Lutheran Church in St. Helens for William W. Ezzell, who died May 30 at age 71.
Mr. Ezzell was born July 29, 1929, in San Francisco and was raised in Scotts Mills and Sutherlin.
He moved to Columbia City in 1974.
He worked for Multnomah Plywood for about 20 years, retiring as president of the board of directors in 1991.
In 1958, he married
Barbara Yocam; she died in 1985. In 1989, he married
Roberta Robinson.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Jim, Jeff and Duane; stepsons, Shawn Robinson and David Stubbs; daughter, Jill Bennett; brothers, Robert Johnston and Wallace Johnston; and eight grandchildren.
Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Mary Louise Freck
Mary Louise Freck died May 12, 2001, at age 86.
Mrs. Freck was born Mary Louise Rogers on June 19, 1914, in Little Rock, Ark.
She grew up in Conway, Ark., and graduated from Hendrix College.
She moved to the Portland area in 1947.
She was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She married
George E. Freck in 1947.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Molly Sue Hampton and Julie Hampton; sister, Sue Turnbow; brother, Earl Rogers; and three grandchildren.

Alice Louise Hill
Alice Louise Hill died May 27 at age 92.
Mrs. Hill was born Alice Louise Clark on July 7, 1908, in Westhope, N.D., and moved to Portland as a child.
She was a cashier at Meier & Frank and a homemaker.
In 1927, she married
Roy C. Hill; he died in 1996.
Survivors include her daughters, Beverley Ann Manes and Patricia Smith; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Terry Richard La Rocque
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2001, in Marine Park in Vancouver, Wash., for Terry Richard La Rocque, who was lost in the Columbia River in a boating accident on May 28. He was 53.
Mr. La Rocque was born Feb. 15, 1948, in Estevan, Saskatchewan.
He immigrated to Portland from Canada in the early 1990s and was a planning director for Kurahashi & Associates for six years.
He later was a team leader for the community development planning department of Clark County, Wash., for three years.
He moved to Vancouver two years ago.
In 1996, he married
Linnea Templeman.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Danielle and Cherie; stepsons, Brandon Cox, Nathan Cox and Justin Cox; mother, Ida O. Moe; stepfather, Bob Moe; and sister, Linda Tupper.

Georgina Louise MacDermid
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2001, in Glencoe Baptist Church in Portland for Georgina Louise MacDermid, who died May 26 at age 86.
Mrs. MacDermid was born Georgina McMullen on Jan. 20, 1915, in Lethbridge, Alberta.
She was a homemaker.
She lived in Portland and was a member of the church for about 50 years.
In 1938, she married
Charles A. MacDermid; he died earlier.
Survivors include her son, Roger; daughters, Jean Sheppard and Gayle Babb; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Shirley Althouse Manning
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2001, in the St. Johns Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Shirley Althouse Manning, who died May 29 at age 54.
Mrs. Manning was born Shirley Althouse on June 17, 1946, in Portland.
She graduated from Madison High School.
She was a switchboard operator for the Multnomah County Developmental Disabilities Department until her retirement.
In 1964-65, she was statewide Grand Worthy Adviser for the Rainbow Girls, a group associated with Eastern Star.
She also was a director for the Oregon chapter of the Women's International Bowling Association.
In 1996, she married
James Manning.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Cynthia E. Ritacco, Karen I. Davis and Sharon M. Pierce; and eight grandchildren.

Mary Metcalf
Mary Metcalf died May 12, 2001, at age 68.
Mrs. Metcalf was born Mary Covalt on Aug. 19, 1932, in Woodward, Okla.
She lived most of her life around Modesto, Calif., and moved to Beaverton last year.
She was a saleswoman until retiring in 1996.
In 1947, she married
Ted Metcalf; he died in 1989.
Survivors include her son, Chris; daughters, Ellen Shields and Judy Hairston; sisters Lena Funderburk, Donna Sloan and Linda Moore; and eight grandchildren.

Charlie Moore Sr.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2001, in Cox & Cox Funeral Home for Charlie Moore Sr., who died May 27 at age 60.
Mr. Moore was born July 30, 1940, in Osceola, Ark.
He moved to Portland as a child and graduated from Roosevelt High School.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a production worker for Steinfeld's Products Co. until his retirement in 1999.
In 1984, he married
Beatrice Strawder.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Erick T. Sr., Charlie Jr. and Jamal L.; mother, Willie Mae; brother, Johnny T.; and eight grandchildren.
Interment in Willamette National cemetery.
Mary H. Ramm
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2001, in Colton Lutheran Church for Mary H. Ramm, who died May 28 at age 75.
Mrs. Ramm was born Mary H. Sauter on Aug. 21, 1925, in Lyle, Wash.
She was a homemaker and moved to Hood River in 1964, and to Colton in 1983.
In 1962, she married
LeRoy L. Ramm; he died in 1997.
Survivors include her daughters, Suzanne and Joyce.

Celina Salvadora Reitmeier
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2001, in Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home for Celina Salvadora Reitmeier, who died May 26 at age 47.
Mrs. Reitmeier was born Celina Salvadora Aton on Sept. 8, 1953, in Honolulu.
She moved to Portland in 1971 and later co-owned and operated, with her husband, Reitmeier Mechanical Inc., a heating and air-conditioning company.
In 1991, she married
Gerald L. Reitmeier.
Survivors include her husband; son, Jonathan Braithwait; brothers, Randy Aton and Eddie Aton; sisters, Doreen Stalworth and Kristine Brown; mother, Sally Aton; and two grandchildren. Her son Michael Braithwait died about 1990.
Interment in Lincoln Memorial Park.
