Frederick John Niedermark
Frederick John Niedermark died July 22, 2001, at age 56. Mr. Niedermark was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Portland. He graduated from Grant High School. He was self-employed in the janitorial service industry and was working as a laborer for a temporary employment agency at the time of his death.
Survivors include his daughter, Denise Jones; sons, Brent and Scott; parents, Wes and Janet; sister, Donna Collins; and one grandchild.

Margaret Elizabeth Perry
Margaret Elizabeth Perry died July 18, 2001, at age 80. Mrs. Perry was born Margaret Elizabeth Crafton on Dec. 8, 1920, in Kansas City, Mo. She was an estimator for a construction firm in California until retiring. She moved in 1994 to Molalla from Red Bluff, Calif. In 1951, she married
Alton D. Perry; he died in 1993.
Survivors include her daughter, Pat Rogers; son, Steven; and two grandchildren.

Delva J. Privatsky
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, in Macy & Son in McMinnville for Delva J. Privatsky, who died July 27 at age 70. Mrs. Privatsky was born Delva J. Gardner on June 20, 1931, in Vale. She lived in Ontario until moving to McMinnville in 1948. She was a secretary for the Elks Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, both in McMinnville, until her retirement. She was also past president of the McMinnville Elkettes. In 1948, she married
Kenneth Privatsky.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Drenda Bayliss, Cindi Hyde and Virginia Privatsky; son, Ken; sisters, Verna Davis, Judy Howell, Marilyn Kilpatrick and Carla Peden; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Beatrice E. Rackley
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, in St. Paul of Damascus Lutheran Church in Boring for Beatrice E. Rackley, who died July 14 at age 75. Mrs. Rackley was born Beatrice E. Brown on Dec. 16, 1925, in Scranton, Pa. During World War II, she was a pilot in the Women's Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron. In 1948, she moved from Bremerton, Wash., to Portland and was a photo-color artist at Bruno's Studios, then a retail clerk at Tradewell Stores until her retirement. She returned to Bremerton in 1985. In 1948, she married
Larry Schenck; they were divorced. She later married
Jack Rackley; they were divorced.
Survivors include her son, Darrel Schenck; daughters, Catherine Lindeman and Rani Guterriez; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

James Matthew Scott
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2001, in St. Luke Catholic Church in Woodburn for James Matthew Scott, who died July 27 of multiple sclerosis at age 40. Mr. Scott was born June 12, 1961, in Portland. He lived in Portland and later in Gresham. He was a musician who played the drums when he was a young man.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce; sister, Genevieve; and brothers, John and Mark.

Margot Sinclair
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Oswego for Margot Sinclair, who died July 27 at age 64. Mrs. Sinclair was born Margot Clermont on June 1, 1937, in Edmonton, Alberta. She was a homemaker who lived in Piedmont, Calif., before moving to Charbonneau in 1998. In 1959, she married
Dr. Colin Sinclair.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Carolyn Gordon, Janie Beyrle, Margie Wilson, Mary Ann Pas and Diane Landgraf; son, Don; and 17 grandchildren.

Ronald E. Wood
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, in Cornwell Colonial Chapel in Woodburn for Ronald E. Wood, who died July 27 at age 91. Mr. Wood was born April 17, 1910, in Everett, Wash. He was the supervisor for buildings and bridges for the Great Northern Railroad for 44 years, until retiring in 1974, when he moved from Klamath Falls to Woodburn. In 1940, he married
Florence Gesner; she died in 1987.
Survivors include his sister, June MacRae; two nephews; and seven nieces.
Interment in Belle Passi Memorial Mausoleum in Woodburn.
Lina Ella Anderson
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2001, in Hennessey Goetsch & McGee Funeral Directors for Lina Ella Anderson, who died July 11 at age 92. Mrs. Anderson was born Lina Ella Eastman on Nov. 22, 1908, in Chamberlain, S.D. She graduated from the University of Minnesota. In 1946, she moved to Portland, where she was a schoolteacher in Llewellyn, Vernon, Kenton and Applegate elementary schools until retiring in 1966. In 1953, she married
Andrew Odin Anderson; he died in 1987.
Survivors include four nephews and one niece.

Leah Barbur
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2001, in St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Portland for Leah Barbur, who died July 14 at age 81. Recitation of the rosary will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, in Holman's Funeral Service.
Mrs. Barbur was born Leah Leonelli on Nov. 29, 1919, in Lucca, Italy. She immigrated to Portland in 1920 and graduated from St. Mary's Academy, Commerce High School and Behnke-Walker Business College. She was a clerk for the Portland Bureau of Licenses for 30 years before retiring in about 1979. She was a 60-year member of the church. In 1940, she married
Anthony J. Barbur.
Survivors include her husband; daughter, Marilyn Stark; son, Ron; brother, Leo Leonelli; and four grandchildren.

D. Gale Behunin
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2001, in the Gresham Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for D. Gale Behunin, who died July 12 at age 78. Mr. Behunin was born Sept. 22, 1922, in Sigurd, Utah. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps in the Pacific and earned a Purple Heart. In 1946, he moved to Portland, where he was a cabinetmaker and woodworker for Teeples & Thatcher for about 30 years, and then for Marv Thornton Co. until retiring in 1983. In 1944, he married
Gwendolyn B. Robison; she died in 1975. He married
Lois E. Thornton in 1976.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Dewey and Ben; stepsons, Doneal Thornton and Gard Thornton; daughter, Janean Grismore; stepdaughter, Shannon Kessel; sister, Cleola Willard; and 13 grandchildren.

Andrew J. Belozer
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2001, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Milwaukie for Andrew J. "Andy" Belozer, who died July 14 in a motorcycle accident at age 22. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, in the parish center of the church. Mr. Belozer was born April 8, 1979, in Overland Park, Kan., and moved to Milwaukie in 1981. He was a server for Beaches Restaurant in Beaverton for the past year.
Survivors include his mother, Cheryl; father, James; sister, Jacqulin; brothers, Jordon and Justin; grandparents, Phil and Norma Lisac; and great-grandmother, Jean Simonatti.

Delores M. Bettendorf
A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2001, in Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service in Salem for Delores M. Bettendorf, who died July 13 at age 73. Mrs. Bettendorf was born Delores Walcker on Jan. 22, 1928, in Bismarck, N.D., and moved to Portland in 1943. A homemaker, she moved to Salem in 1959. In 1949, she married
Arlie C. Bettendorf; he died in 1997.

Madeleine F. Dorscheimer
An office of Christian burial will be at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2001, in St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Portland for Madeleine F. Dorscheimer, who died July 12 at age 92. Mrs. Dorscheimer was born Madeleine Murray on July 9, 1909, in Connell, Wash. A homemaker, she moved in 1940 to Portland. In 1928, she married
Frank Dorscheimer; he died in 1979.
