Robert J. Geisler
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in Sunset Hills Memorial Park for Robert J. Geisler, who died May 31 at age 67. Mr. Geisler was born Jan. 26, 1934, in Portland. He graduated from Washington High School in 1951 and served in the U.S. Army. He was an asbestos insulation installer, working out of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Union, until retiring in 1978.
Survivors include his daughter, Gina Grant; sons, Joe and Mark; sister, Helen Kenoyer; and 15 grandchildren.

Harry Arthur Hanson Jr.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2001, in the Bull Mountain Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tigard for Harry Arthur Hanson Jr., who died May 31 at age 88. Mr. Hanson was born June 28, 1912, in Butte, Mont. He moved to the Portland area in 1957 and was a machinist for several companies until his retirement, when he moved to Seaside. He returned to Portland in 1989. In 1955, he married
Josephine Draper; she died in 1989.
Survivors include his daughter, Mercedes R. Herndon; son, Paul; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

George H. Johnson
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2001, in Gable & Parkrose Funeral Chapel for George H. Johnson, who died May 30 at age 88. Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 9, 1912, in Newberg. He attended high school in Salem and moved to Portland in 1931. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe and earned a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a barber in Portland for Vito's Barber Shop and later for Van's Barber Shop until retiring in 1973.
Survivors include his brother, Edward K.; and nieces and nephews.

Laila Dorothea Judge
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in Riverview Abbey Funeral Home for Laila Dorothea Judge, who died May 31 at age 86. Mrs. Judge was born Laila Dorothea Jackson on Nov. 6, 1914, in Two Harbors, Minn. She moved to Portland in 1940 and was an office worker for Shaw Surgical. until retiring in 1980. In 1957, she married
Gerald A. Judge; he died in 1968.
Survivors include her son, Jerry B. Perrine; nieces and nephews; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Interment in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum.
Eva M. Kauffman~ A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in Buxton cemetery for Eva M. Kauffman, who died May 31 at age 88. Mrs. Kauffman was born Eva M. Nelson on Nov. 20, 1912, in Buxton, where she was raised. She was a homemaker who later lived in Portland, Beaverton and Tigard until moving to King City in 1979. She moved to McMinnville in 1998. In 1935, she married
Louis W. Kauffman; he died in 1994.
Survivors include her daughters, Julia L. Waldron, Linda M. Hart and Marcia K. Roig; sister, Mable DeLance; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Wesley Koistinen
A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2001, in Mt. Scott Funeral Home for Wesley "Wes" Koistinen, who died May 29 at age 91. Mr. Koistinen was born Nov. 3, 1909, in Lake Norden, S.D. He moved to Portland from South Dakota and worked in the shipyards before World War II. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe during the war. He owned Mobil service stations for most of his working life and later managed several service stations. He moved to Gresham last September. In 1944, he married
"Bunny" Amo; she died in 1982.
Survivors include his sons, Leon; stepson, Bud Lowery; stepdaughters, Bonnie Wagner and Dorothy Janvrin; brothers, Verner, Wally, Clarence and LeRoy; sisters, Elsie Martilla and Eldora Juntunten; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Interment in Skyline Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to Portland Adventist Hospice.
Edward Thomas Lynch
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Tigard for Edward Thomas Lynch, who died May 31 at age 87. Mr. Lynch was born Nov. 13, 1913, in St. Joe, Idaho. He was raised in Spokane. He was a bond manager for an insurance company until retiring in 1977. He lived in Florida and Eugene until moving to the Portland area in 1989. In 1940, he married
Ethel May Smith.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Shannon Dulac; son, Dennis; sister, Mary Beaulaurier; and four grandchildren.

Carlina Rivera Marrero
Carlina Rivera Marrero died May 22, 2001, at age 93. Mrs. Marrero was born Carlina Marrero on Nov. 8, 1907, in Orocovis, Puerto Rico. She moved to Miami in 1964 and to Portland in 1990. She was a homemaker and seamstress. In the 1920s, she married
Rodolfo Rivera; he died in 1989.
Survivors include her daughters, Frances Carrano, Mary Jarp, Hilda Vontossenbrook, Gloria E. Forrest, Iris Ruiz and Blanca Quintero; sons, Julio Rivera, Juan Rivera, Eliezer Rivera and Neftali Rivera; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Lloyd L. McCormick
A funeral will be at noon Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in St. Michael Catholic Church in Sandy for Lloyd L. McCormick, who died June 1 at age 74. Mr. McCormick was born June 7, 1926, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific. He moved to Portland in 1965 and worked for Union Pacific Railroad until retiring as chief train dispatcher. In 1947, he married
Lois Pringle.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Douglas W. and Dale E.; daughter, Janet M. Smith; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. His son Jerome M. died in 1992.

Katherine T. McGeachy
Katherine T. McGeachy died May 27, 2001, at age 101. Mrs. McGeachy was born Katherine Tann on April 12, 1900, in Kansas City, Mo. She was a homemaker who moved to Portland from California in 1977. In 1928, she married
John W. McGeachy; he died in 1969.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis A. McCulloch; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her son, Alan J., died earlier.

Ralph Norman Morris
A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in Lincoln Memorial Park for Ralph Norman Morris, who died June 1 at age 76. Mr. Morris was born April 9, 1925, in Aberdeen, Wash. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II. He moved to Portland in 1952 and was a data processing manager for Consolidated Freightways, Multnomah County and Clackamas County until retiring in 1983. He was a member of Cascade Community Church in Gresham, where he worked with youth groups. In 1947, he married
Helen Freeman.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Jan Sale, Tani Beers and Patti Elliot; sons, Jeff, Mike and Tim; sister, Jo Harrylock; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Helen Frances Red Bird
A funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2001, in Lincoln Willamette Funeral Directors for Helen Frances Red Bird, who died May 31 at age 79. Mrs. Red Bird was born Helen Frances Youpee on Oct. 27, 1921, in Poplar, Mont. She was a homemaker who moved to Portland in 1949. In 1941, she married
Norman Red Thunder; he died serving in World War II. In 1946, she married
Douglas D. Red Bird; he died in 1973.
Survivors include her sons, Norman Red Thunder and Merle Youngman; daughters, Aileen Moses and Susan Jackson; brothers, Jimmy Youpee and Lloyd Youpee; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Interment in Willamette National cemetery.
Arne Erick Skoglund
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in Tri City Baptist Temple in Gladstone for Arne Erick Skoglund, who died May 30 at age 77. Mr. Skoglund was born Sept. 17, 1923, in Duluth, Minn. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe. In 1958, he moved to the Portland area from Duluth, where he had worked for Western Electric, and was a switchman for Pacific Northwest Bell (later US West), retiring in 1986. He played the accordion at the Rheinlander German Restaurant for 20 years and also played at nursing homes and retirement homes. In 1949, he married
Virginia Nelson.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Susan Thomsen; sisters, Ruth Johnson and Lorraine Lindstrand; brother, Ralph; and one grandchild.
